Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 S. Bell St. Survivors include numerous family members. Amarillo Globe-News, March 12, 2005 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Canyon Wiley James Wiley James, 71, of Canyon died Thursday, March 10, 2005, in Amarillo. No services are scheduled. Arrangements are by Brooks Funeral Directors of Canyon and Happy. Mr. James was born May 6, 1933, in Wayside to William and Orene Wesley James. He graduated from Happy High School in 1953 and married Irene Greenfield in Canyon on June 5, 1953. They moved to Canyon in 1956, and he retired from Southwestern Public Service after 37 years. He loved the Canyon Lady Eagles and followed them wherever they played. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Neil James of Panhandle and Del Ray James of Tucson, Ariz.; a brother, Lloyd James of Mesa, Ariz.; four grandchildren, Wes James, Will James, David James and Sarah James; and his extended family, the Canyon Lady Eagles basketball team. Clinton, 82, died Wednesday, March 9, 2005. Services will be at 11 a.m. today in St. Theresa Catholic Church in Hale Center with the Rev. Raymundo Manriquez, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are by Bartley Funeral Home. Mrs. Clinton was born Aug. 9, 1922, in Durango, Mexico. She married Frank E. Clinton in Seal Beach, Calif. Survivors include two sons, Henry Torres of Mission Viejo, Calif., and Ezequiel Torres of Agoura, Calif.; a daughter, Guadalupe Torres of Plainview; two sisters, Belen Robles of Orange County, Calif., and Maria Guerrero of Palm Springs, Calif.; and four grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in North Amarillo Church of Christ in Amarillo, Texas, with Glen Walton officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Amarillo by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Martin Road Chapel in Amarillo, 1505 Martin Road. Mr. Wall was born in Bell County, Texas. He served in the Army as a master sergeant and was stationed at New Guinea and Burma with Merrill's Marauders. He served during the Korean War at Chosin Reservoir. Mr. Wall married Wyona Lee West on Aug. 15, 1944, in Slaton. He retired from Asarco and was a member of North Amarillo Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his wife on April 8, 1998. Survivors include a daughter, Melva Messer of Tulsa, Okla.; four sons, Bernie Wall of Farmers Branch, Texas, Dennis Wall and Casey Wall, both of Amarillo, and Patrick Wall of Wichita Falls, Texas; and a brother, Herman Wall of Winsor, Canada. Services will be at 10 a.m. today in First Baptist Church with Eddy Scoggins officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens near Liberal, Kan., by Roberts Brothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Hamilton was born Oct. 30, 1917, to Daniel and Nancy Victoria Bryant Wibking. She married Everett Edwin Hamilton on May 8, 1938, at Guymon. Survivors include four daughters, Patrecia Dobbs of Hobbs, N.M., Gladys Lauderdale of Buffalo, Nancy Weber of Bentonville, Ark., and Linda Gieselmann of Hooker; 12 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great- grandchildren. Mrs. Kennedy was born Sept. 23, 1914, in Josephine, Texas, to Coke Walker Hinton and Mary Armitta Price Hinton. She married Guy Kennedy. Survivors include two daughters, Lemoyne Shook of Amarillo, Texas, and Ruth Cain of Centennial, Colo.; and her grandchildren.
