Burial will be in Llano Cemetery East by Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive. Hannah was born in Amarillo and lived here all of her life. Her life was short, but she touched many hearts. Mrs. Crownover was born June 5, 1939, to Dan and Dora Johnston in Hollis. She married Ted Crownover on Dec. 22, 1955, in Hollis. They lived in Dumas from 1959 to 1984 before moving to Amarillo, where they lived for 20 years. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Dumas. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Girthie Mae Vaughn and Arena Bell Vaughn; and a brother, J.D. Johnston. He moved to Amarillo in 1948. He was a veteran, serving in the Navy during World War II. He retired from Pantex as a security guard. He was the international union representative for the security guards at Pantex. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beulah; and a daughter, Barbara Janes. Survivors include a daughter, Patt Edwards of Amarillo; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The body will be available for viewing until 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. She was a homemaker and was loved very much by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesus M. Quintero in 1977. Burial will be at 3 p.m. today in Crosbyton Cemetery in Crosbyton. Mrs. Steen was born Dec. 6, 1927, to Rollin and Lillian Artley in Crosbyton. She was a farm girl all her life. She married Gene Greene in Crosbyton in 1947, and after he passed away in 1973, married Billy Clyde Steen in Plainview in 1977. Alice worked at the hospital in Crosbyton in the bookkeeping department for five years and at West Texas State University as a cashier for two years. She worked for Randall County for 18 years as the head of motor vehicle registration before retiring in 1997. She was a former member of Eastern Star and member of Calvary Baptist Church in Canyon. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Gene Greene in 1973; and her second husband, Billy Clyde Steen in 1985. For several years, she was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church in Moore. She moved to Hereford in 2004. Mr. Stewart was born Jan. 25, 1913, in Lucien to the late Bert and Edna Stewart. He was raised in the Berg Community in the Oklahoma Panhandle. He married his wife of 61 years, Lavonia Champion, on June 15, 1943, in Albany, Ga., at Turner Field Air Force Base, where he was serving as a crew chief on a B-25. Harold was a 50-year member of IOOF Lodge in Keyes, where he served as district deputy grand master. He was a member of Keyes Lions Club and served as a volunteer fireman for Keyes Fire Department. His other accomplishments included being a ski instructor, a Boy Scout leader and a member of First Baptist Church of Keyes. He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers, Earl Stewart, Edward Stewart, Johnnie Stewart, Roy Stewart, Cecil Stewart and Donald Stewart; three sisters, Ethel Mae Stewart, Lucille Perky and Nellie Preston; and a grandson, Shad Lee Sharp. Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Memorial Garden in Shattuck. Arrangements are by Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home. Mrs. Threadgill was born in Shattuck on Dec. 13, 1925. She attended Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, after graduating from Shattuck High School in 1944. She transferred after two years to Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, where she received degrees in English and speech. She graduated with honors and was selected as one of 10 students to be in Who's Who among colleges and universities. After three years of teaching she attended the University of Oklahoma in Norman to work on a master's degree in speech. After her retirement from teaching, since education was one of her priorities in life, she volunteered for more than 30 years to raise money for scholarships for the Sheppard AFB Community. She made sure her high school and colleges were endowed with scholarship funds restricted for students interested in majoring in English or speech. She married Edward Threadgill in December 1947. She was a member of the couples class at Floral Heights Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband in March 1992. Mr. Stallings was born April 17, 1948, in Paducah to Horace Leslie and Louise (Russell) Stallings. Dr. Stallings was a graduate of Texas A&M University. During the years of 1966 to 1970 he earned two varsity and one freshman letter in football and played on the Southwest Conference and Cotton Bowl Championship teams. In 1971, he was the freshman team graduate assistant coach. He was a member of the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets, Company H-1, and was Company Commander from 1969 to 1970. He was also a member of the Ross Volunteers. He graduated in 1971 with a B.S. and D.V.M. On Dec. 19, 1970, he married Kerry Fisher in College Station. Dr. Stallings owned and operated Prairie Creek Pet Care Center in Plano. He was an active member of Prestonwood Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents.
