Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First Baptist Church with Dr. Travis Hart, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park in Lubbock by Bartley Funeral Home. Mr. Bratcher was born July 11, 1918, in New Deal. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Bryan and was a veteran of World War II. Survivors include two sons, Jerry Bratcher of Kerrville and John Bundy Bratcher II of Dallas; a stepson, Joe Jopling of Sandy, Utah; a stepdaughter, Susan Bockmon of Bryan; two brothers, A.A. Bratcher of Rosebud and Robert Bratcher of Odessa; five grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and five great- grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to the music program at First Baptist Church of Plainview. Amarillo Globe-News, April 23, 2005 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Adolfo Garcia Sr. HEREFORD - Adolfo Garcia Sr., 79, died Wednesday, April 20, 2005, in Amarillo. Prayer services were at 7 p.m. Friday in Parkside Chapel Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m. today in the Genesis Church with the Rev. Benito Villarreal and the Rev. David Alvarado officiating. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery in Hereford. Mr. Garcia was born Sept. 27, 1925, in Pearsall, the son of Aristo and Kiriana Garcia. He married Amelia Garcia on Sept. 6, 1961, in Hereford. Mr. Garcia retired as a foreman from Griffin & Brand after 15 years of service and was a member of Good News Church in Hereford. He was preceded in death by a brother. Survivors include his wife; five sons, Hector Garcia of Rio Bravo, Adolfo Garcia Jr. of San Antonio, and Gomer Garcia, Chuck Garcia and Daniel Garcia, all of Hereford; five brothers; three sisters; 15 grandchildren; and a great- grandchild. Prayer vigil will be at 7 p.m. today and Sunday in Rix Funeral Directors Chapel. Mass will be at 2 p.m. Monday in La Iglesia de San Jose Catholic Church with Monsignor Arturo Meza officiating. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery. Mr. Lopez was born in San Benito to Federico Lopez and Maria Inez Navarro Lopez. He married Hortensia Hernandez on July 12, 1980, in Hereford. Survivors include his wife; a son, Joel Lopez of Hereford; two daughters, Dalia Lopez and Delia Lopez, both of Hereford; his mother of San Benito; five sisters, Maria Elena Leal and Rosie Zuniga, both of Hereford, and Olga Longoria, Gracie Bedolla and Crisela Villalobos, all of San Benito; five brothers, Gilbert Lopez, Reymundo Lopez, Federico Lopez Jr., Arturo Lopez and Juan Antonio Lopez, all of San Benito; and a grandson. "Joe" Perez, 69, died Wednesday, April 20, 2005. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Sunday in Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Boise City. Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the church. Burial will be in Boise City Cemetery by Cimarron Mortuary. Mr. Perez was born Aug. 4, 1935, in Kennedy, Texas. He liked doing yard work and helping older people in town with their yards. Survivors include two daughters, Joscette Perez of Boise City and Louise Stevens of Oklahoma City; three sons, Jimmy Joe Perez and Joey Perez, both of Boise City, and Joe Junior Torres of San Antonio; three brothers, Juan and Emellio Perez, both of San Antonio, and Pete Perez of Okmulgee; a sister, Helen Mendoza of San Antonio; and six grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to the Perez family to help with funeral expenses and may be sent to the mortuary.
