Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St., with Jerry Hopkins, pastor of Paramount Terrace Christian Church, officiating. Mrs. Riley attended St. Mary's Catholic School and Amarillo High School. She spent most of her life working at a job she loved for Western Merchandisers and Anderson Merchandisers. She worked from 1960 until February 2005. She was a lifetime volunteer for Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. She also volunteered with Hands Across America. She was an avid bowler and billiards player. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to BSA Hospice for all their work and comfort for the family. Mrs. Riley was preceded in death by her father, Deewitt Allen; her mother, Marygladys Allen; and a brother, Bob Allen. Survivors include a daughter, Lori Russell of San Angelo; a son, Robert "Sam" Riley of Brownfield; two brothers, Jimmy Allen of Pensacola, Fla., and Travis Allen of Albuquerque, N.M.; her life partner, Rod Calkins of Amarillo; two granddaughters, Samantha Riley of Amarillo and Lucy Riley of Orlando, Fla.; a grandson, Austin Russell of San Angelo; extended family, Shonie and Jeff Barker and sons, Chad and Jesse, of Roosevelt, Utah, and Rodeana Calhoun, son, Blake, and daughters, Whitney and Jasmine of Roosevelt; and very special friends, Pat Deckard and Sherry Oliver of Amarillo. Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mrs. Formby was born in Louisville, Ky., to Oscar and Louise Miller. She married R.C. Formby. The Formbys were members of First Baptist Church and were instrumental in starting the River Ministry. Mrs. Formby taught Sunday school in the college department for 20 years. She worked as the receptionist in her husband's dental practice. Most importantly, she was a homemaker and a loving mother to their three daughters. She was active in Girl Scouts and Brownies, leading one of the largest troops at the time. To her daughters, she was a perfect mother, the best in the world. She was preceded in death by her husband; and a brother, Harold Miller. Survivors include three daughters, Sharren Woodward and husband, Kurt, of Canon City, Colo., Sheila Kendrick and husband, Bud, of Keota, Okla., and Shannon Timberlake of Canyon; a sister, Zelma Thompson of Pawhuska, Okla.; a brother, Roscoe Miller of Nowata, Okla.; and three grandchildren, Billy Vasiliadis, Monroe Timberlake and Tishell Timberlake. Bell St. Mr. Heck was a heavy equipment operator in California and Nevada. He worked for Bectal Engineering in Amarillo. Survivors include two daughters, Monica Haudek and Laurinda Paine, both of Temple; two brothers, Robert "Bobby" Heck of Amarillo and Kendall Heck of California; and five grandchildren. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Patrick Todd Huntley Patrick Todd Huntley, 47, of Amarillo died Friday, May 6, 2005. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Hollywood Road Community Church. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mr. Huntley was born May 22, 1957 in Michigan. He married Melynn Huntley on Jan. 17, 1993. He was a member of Hollywood Road Community Church. He served in the Marine Corps from 1978 until 1982, and was in the Army for an additional 16 years before retiring in 2000. He was active in The Panhandle Film Commission and enjoyed making independent movies. He was a superior craftsman in small scale military modeling. He was a devoted husband and father. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Huntley. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Christopher Todd Huntley of Mansfield and Matthew William Huntley of Amarillo; two stepsons, Bradley Clay Knapp of Dallas and Thomas Atkins Knapp of Austin; his mother and stepfather, Patricia and Bruce Cook of Florida; a sister, Susan Lindsay of Florida; and a brother, Mitch Huntley of North Carolina. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mrs. Kessler was born in Collinsville and moved to Amarillo 53 years ago. She was an outdoorswoman who loved to fish and camp. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and a great cook. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Kessler, and twin grandchildren, Rusty Lynn Warren and Misty Michelle Warren. She was the 34th member inducted into the Panhandle Sports Hall of Fame for basketball in 1974. She played basketball for Wayland Baptist College and the Georgia Peaches, a semipro basketball team. Pat painted many beautiful paintings over the years. Traveling and painting were her greatest joys. She was a homemaker and member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. She married Kenneth Truelove on Sept. 30, 1970. She was preceded in death by a son, Brent Henderson in 1995. Survivors include her husband; a brother, Jim Tate and wife, Judith, of Amarillo; and a nephew, Tal Tate and wife, Cathy, of Amarillo. Arrangements are by Brooks Funeral Directors. Mrs. Gill was born Oct. 16, 1917, to Alexander and Sarah McNeeley Williams. She married Quentin W. Gill on March 29, 1947, in Texas City. She moved to Happy in 1955, where she taught school for 32 years. She was a member of Eastern Star and First United Methodist Church of Happy. Her joys in life were RVing with her husband and being with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband; a son, Henry A. Gill and wife, Jean, of Denton; a daughter, Shirley L. Burial will be in Shamrock Cemetery by Wright Funeral Directors. Mrs. Forguson was born Aug. 9, 1917, in Madill, Okla., to Walter Marion and Amy Ann Buford Wheeler. She married Johnie Forguson on Feb. 15, 1936, in Madill. Mrs. Forguson was the oldest of nine children. She lived in Shamrock most of her life, moving to Amarillo in 1998. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Shamrock. She was preceded in death by her husband on April 6, 2003; a son, Kenneth Forguson; and two brothers, Leon Wheeler and Buford Wheeler. Private burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Mr. Ward was born Aug. 8, 1930, in Lefors. He graduated from Kemper Military Academy and North Texas State University. After college, he served with the Navy during the Korean conflict. Following his honorable discharge, he came back to Pampa and worked in the grocery business. He then opened his first Kentucky Fried Chicken franchise in Pampa, and later opened five more in the surrounding area. He married Patsy Halpain in 1960. Mr. Ward confirmed his faith in God when he joined St. Matthew's Episcopal Church. He was a kind man with a gentle spirit, and we know that he is graciously occupying his place in heaven. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Irene Ward; a brother, Kerry Ward; a sister, Mary Francis; and his stepson, Jimmy Crocker. He worked for Natural Gas Pipeline - Oneok, as a plant operator for 24 years and served as a city councilman for 24 years. He was a member of Miami Economic Development Corporation Board, CDC Board, and Emergency Service District Board. He was a member and deacon of First Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Joe Seuhs; and a sister, Katie Seuhs Underwood. She received a master's degree in mathematics from University of Arkansas in 1971, and was an actuary for Citi Group Insurance for 20 years. Burial will be in Mission Burial Park North. Mr. Sullivan celebrated his 40th birthday with family and friends only days before he celebrated the fullness of life in the Lord. Greg would have found this reason to rejoice. Greg was born in Canoga Park, Calif., on May 1, 1965. He graduated from Claude High School and Texas Tech University. Greg was employed with Southwest Airlines for 14 years. Most recently, Greg began a new career with Venterra Realty, where he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Greg was a person of faith, with a positive outlook and joy of life. He was very genuine and charismatic. He never met a stranger, and he touched the life of everyone he met. Greg was most proud when he was with his family. He was a wonderful son, husband and father and a great friend to all. "Let him walk in newness of life." Psalm 6.
