Davis Wilbur W. Davis, 88, of Amarillo died Monday, June 6, 2005. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia St., with the Rev. Robert Field officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Davis was born June 5, 1917, to John and Alta Davis. He married Lillian Cupell on July 17, 1943. He served in the Pacific New Guinea. He also was a volunteer for the Speakers Bureau for United Way. Mr. Davis spoke at numerous United Way rallies to help raise money. He will be featured in this year's United Way film. He was preceded in death by his wife; two brothers; and his parents. Survivors include a brother, George Walter Davis of Goodrich; two sisters-in- law, Velma Cupell and Thelma Chapman, both of Amarillo; and a brother-in-law, Bennie Cupell of Amarillo. The family suggests memorials be to Jan Werner Adult Day Care Center, 3108 S. Fillmore St., Amarillo, TX 79110. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gene Victor Gene Victor, 55, of Amarillo died Sunday, June 5, 2005. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Cox Funeral Home Benton Chapel, 4180 Canyon Drive. Mr. Victor was born and raised in Portales, N.M., and was a graduate of Hereford High School. He served in the Navy. He worked in the printing business in Amarillo since 1970. Mr. Victor was a collector of guns and coins and he loved to hunt. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmie Victor; a brother, Jim Victor; and a sister, Sue Beasley. Survivors include a daughter, Sarah Mae Victor of Amarillo; his mother, Janie Victor of Atlanta; a brother, Gary Victor of Atlanta; and a stepdaughter, Naomi Whitehead of Amarillo. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tomas H. Antuna Tomas H. Antuna, 66, of Amarillo died Wednesday, June 1, 2005. No services are scheduled. Arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40. Mr. Antuna was born Feb. 21, 1939, in Carlos Real Durango, Mexico, where he was reared. He moved to the Wellington area 30 years ago. Survivors include a brother, Angel Antuna of Carlos Real Durango. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- George Edward "Jed" Kuntz George Edward "Jed" Kuntz, 62, of Amarillo died Sunday, June 5, 2005. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church with Monsignor Joseph Tash officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mr. Kuntz was born Oct. 11, 1942, to Edward and Henrietta Kuntz in Columbus, Ohio. He graduated from St. Ambrose College in 1964. Jed Kuntz married the former Suzanne Mattis on March 5, 1966, in Burlington, Iowa. Jed served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He moved to Amarillo in 1973, where he owned and operated Royal Coin and Stamp for the past 10 years. Survivors include his wife; a son, Stephen Kuntz of Lubbock; and a sister, Gretchen Clave of Burlington, Iowa. The family suggests memorials be to St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 4100 S. Fredia Burns officiating. Arrangements are by Seigler Funeral Home of Matador. Mr. Green was retired from the Marine Corps and was active in community affairs. He was an orthodox, conservative Anglican and a member of St. Paul's on the Plains Episcopal Church in Lubbock. Survivors include his wife, Patricia; a daughter, Michelle Squire of Charlottesville, Va.; a stepson, Carmen Cavada of Raleigh, N.C.; and a brother, Bert Green of Boston. She married Bobby Joe Hatfield in 1953 in Clovis, N.M. Survivors include a son, Jeff Hatfield of Sunray; four daughters, Paula L. Morgan of Pampa, Cindy Buenrostro of Lubbock, Diane Freeman of Denver City and Janet Adams of Fritch; a sister, Barbra Smith of San Luis Obispo, Calif.; three brothers, Richard King of Independence, Kan., Jerry King of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Bill King of Pampa; 11 grandchildren; and four great- grandchildren. Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Monica of Albuquerque, N.M., Inez and Lydia, both of Fritch, and Rachel of Amarillo; a sister, Verita Melton of Hugoton, Kan.; nine grandchildren; and his mother, Ora May Lawley of Perryton. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bertha Mae Carter Keller WELLINGTON - Bertha Mae Carter Keller, 84, died Sunday, June 5, 2005. Mrs. Keller was born Aug. 16, 1920, in Wellington to Elmer W. Carter and Merle Bartlett Carter. She married Harold Keller on Jan. 23, 1938, in Wellington. Survivors include her husband; a son, Elmer Keller of Wellington; a daughter, Carolyn Kazelskis of Hattiesburg, Miss.; three sisters, Jane Maxwell and Kay Feemster, both of Wellington, and Rachel Ligon of Memphis, Tenn.; four granddaughters; and seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. West was born May 29, 1959, in Borger, and she had been a lifetime resident. She was a clerk for the U.S. Post Office. She was a daughter, wife, mother, sister and friend, and had a love of animals and gardening. On your journey, carry our love for you and those who've gone before, and know that you were so many things to so many people, and you will be deeply missed. He married Bonnie Robertson on May 8, 1928, in Erick, Okla. Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Garrett Lassiter of Clovis and Opal V. Garrett Goble of Albuquerque; a son, S. Jerome Garrett of Bull Shoals, Ark.; 14 grandchildren; two sisters, Helen Gumper of Dalhart, Texas, and Mabel Prock of Dallas; 21 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren. Burial will be at 4 p.m. Thursday in Littlefield Memorial Park Cemetery in Littlefield. Mr. Jackson was born Nov. 13, 1937, in Littlefield. He was a member of First Christian Church in Ruidoso Downs. Mr. Pacheco was born Nov. 5, 1953, in Portales. He married Darlene Pacheco on July 16, 2001, in Angel Fire. Mrs. Terry was born Aug. 15, 1918, in Okmulgee, Okla., to the late Robert McClellan and Bernice Nelson Smith. She formally lived in Spring Creek before moving to Athens. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Foye Terry. Mrs. Wheat was born April 28, 1945, to Glenn Rodrick and Geraldine Wolflenburger Rodrick. Mrs. Wicker was born in Dodge City, Kan., on Aug. 29, 1927. She graduated from Amarillo High School. She also graduated from Northwest Texas Nursing School in Amarillo in 1948. She has been a citizen of Terry and Gaines County since that time. She married R.W. Wicker Jr. in 1949 in Brownfield. She has nursed in Brownfield, Denver City and in California while her husband was stationed overseas. She was a member of Seagraves First Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1995. Survivors include three daughters, Dana Lambert and husband, Keith, of Seagraves, Chris Brown and husband, Rickey, of Lubbock and Leslie Pillow and husband, Jim, of Ruidoso, N.M.; 5 grandchildren, Bill and Nikki Brown of Roswell, N.M., Ryan and Renee Hill of Durant, Okla., Melissa and Scott Collier of Lubbock, Tara and Joe Arguijo of Abilene and Robyn and Ron Constant of San Antonio; and seven great-grandchildren.
