Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Memorial Park Cemetery with Glen Walton officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 S. Bell St. Mr. Gregory was born Dec. 20, 1913, in Pauls Valley, Okla., to Andrew and Laura Tharp Gregory. He had been a resident of Amarillo for several years. He married Grace Rexrode Finchum on April 14, 1979, in Albuquerque, N.M. He loved to work in his flower garden and garden, take trips to the Colorado mountains, fish and shop. He was preceded in death by both parents; a son, Kenneth Gregory; a sister, Bertha Day; and a brother, Clyde Gregory. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Leeroy Gregory and wife, Mary Jane, of Cove, Ark., and Larry Gregory and wife, Kathy, of Noble, Okla.; four daughters, Pat Roberts and husband, Bill, of Noble, Sarah Lummus of Dumas, Barbara Bell and husband, Nelson, of Katy and Patricia Oldham and husband, Evert, of Flora Vista, N.M.; two brothers, Roy Gregory of Oregon and Walter Gregory and wife, Betty, of Dickinson; a sister, Myrtle Wallace of Vancouver, Wash.; 20 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; numerous great-great- grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends. Interstate 40, Suite A-6, Amarillo , TX 79106. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Timothy Dean King Timothy Dean King, 46, of Amarillo, formerly of Plainview, died Tuesday, June 14, 2005. Services will be at 11 a.m. today in First Assembly of God Church in Plainview with Emmett Tipton, layman, officiating. Arrangements are by Bartley Funeral Home of Plainview. Mr. King was born June 24, 1958, in Eaton Rapids, Mich. He was a lifetime law enforcement officer and was transferred to the Amarillo Clements Unit in 2004, where he served until the time of his death. Survivors include four sons, Jared Michael King, Jordan Mathew King, Jacob Malachi King and Jayden Mark King, all of Plainview; his parents, Lyle D. and Dorothy King of Dimon Dale, Mich.; a brother, Robert L. King of Charlotte, Mich.; and two sisters, Julie McLain of Holt, Mich., and Lynette Mayotte of Grand Ledge, Mich. The family suggests memorials be to Trinity Fellowship Church 180 Youth Program. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dora Margaret "Peggy" Thompson Dora Margaret "Peggy" Thompson, 82, of Amarillo, formerly of Borger, died Thursday, June 16, 2005. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Oak Knoll Cemetery in Bellville with the Rev. Dennis Keen, pastor of West End Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Directors of Borger. Mrs. Thompson was born Sept. 3, 1922, in Auburn, Ala. She married Fritz Thompson in 1953 in New Mexico. Survivors include a son, David W. Thompson of Dallas; a daughter, Betty Ann Tupin of El Macero, Calif.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to the Fritz and Peggy Thompson Scholarship Fund at Frank Phillips College, P.O. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Tommy Elder officiating. Burial will be in Quanah Memorial Park. Mrs. Cooper was born Aug. 3, 1921, in Big Valley. She married William R. Cooper on April 18, 1966, in Quanah. Survivors include her husband and a son, Stephen Black. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- LAURA WARTON DUMAS - Laura Warton, 83, died Monday, June 13, 2005, in Fort Worth. Services will be at 11 a.m. today in Morrison Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Brad Foster, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Dumas Cemetery. Mrs. Warton was born July 12, 1921, in Trinidad, Colo. She was a homemaker. She was a Dumas resident for 55 years before moving to Fort Worth in 2000. She was a former longtime member of Order of the Eastern Star Dumas Chapter No. 653. She married John Warton in 1937. She was preceded in death by her husband, and two sons, Gary Warton and Don Warton. Survivors include a daughter, Darla D. Grossman and husband, Cliff, of Fort Worth; two sisters, Beatrice Dupler of Morton and Gertrude Stewart of Norco, Calif.; two brothers, Arlie Self of Hobbs, N.M., and Jimmy Self of Morton; four grandchildren, Brent Warton, Teri Warton, Eric Holder and Gina Holder; and five great-grandchildren. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Elsewhere Helen Crawford LITTLEFIELD - Helen Crawford, 88, died Wednesday, June 15, 2005. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Littlefield Memorial Park with the Rev. Donnie Howell of Plainview officiating. Arrangements are by Hammons Funeral Home. Mrs. Crawford was born Oct. 13, 1916, in Eldorado, Okla., to Guy and Ola Carpenter. She married D.H. "Pete" Crawford on Dec. 13, 1936, at Amherst. Survivors include a son, Bob Crawford of Amarillo; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Florence Pearl Green COFFEYVILLE, KAN. - Florence Pearl Green, 96, died Tuesday, June 14, 2005. Services will be at 3 p.m. today in Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel with Wayne Martin, pastor, and James Crandall, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Green was born Sept. 25, 1908, in Joplin, Mo., to Earnest E. Holliday and Ruby Althea Jones. Florence married James F. Fansler on April 13, 1927, in Coffeyville. James preceded her in death. She later married Emmet D. Green on April 3, 1959, in Coffeyville. He preceded her in death in 1977. She attended school in Caney, completing her education in Omaha, Neb. She was a homemaker. Her hobbies included fishing, crocheting, cooking and collecting hummingbird replicas. Florence was a member of Emmanuel Southern Baptist Church in Coffeyville. She was an honorary 50-year member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Her life was centered around her family, friends and neighbors. She cherished them all. Florence will be greatly missed. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Jean Cary; two sisters, Lula Grace Steele and Zelma Hazel Ballard; and an infant grandson, Ronald Fansler. Survivors include two sons, Donald M. Fansler and wife, Mary, of Dumas, Texas, and David L. Fansler of Coffeyville; a daughter, Roberta Graves and husband, Jack, of Coffeyville; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. "Uncle-Tio" Molina NOGALES, ARIZ. - David G. "Uncle-Tio" Molina, 67, died Tuesday, June 14, 2005, in Tucson. Mass will be at 9 a.m. today in Our Lady of Guadalupe in Clovis, N.M., with the Rev. Sotero Sena officiating. Burial will be in Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis. Mr. Molina was born Dec. 28, 1937, to Frank and Amalia Tenorio Molina in Clovis. He was a journalist who worked at the Clovis News Journal and Nogales International newspaper. Survivors include a son, David Molina of Houston; two daughters, Marissa Sanchez and Donna Pinenda, both of Houston; two brothers, Juan Molina and Carlos Molina, both of Clovis; a sister, Lucia Molina Garza of Clovis; and six grandchildren.
