Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with Cliff Houghton officiating. Arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Home. Mrs. Fogelson was born Jan. 13, 1922, in Wayne County, W. Va., to Glenn and Erie Brewer. She was a devoted mother of the late Gary Fogelson and a loving grandmother. As a young wife of a serviceman, she was known for her love of art and travel. Nenavay will be remembered most for her generosity, persevering faith and indomitable spirit. Survivors include a grandson, Patrick Fogelson of Fort Worth; and a niece, Diana Hickman of Hicksville, Ohio. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Area Ulises Castro PERRYTON - Ulises Castro, 49, died Saturday, June 18, 2005. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Lake Fryer Pavilion. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home. Mr. Castro was born Sept. 27, 1955, in El Salvador. He had lived in the Perryton area since 1997 and was a member of the Catholic church. Survivors include a sister, Adela Castro of Guatemala; and an aunt, Vicky Apple of Perryton. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Rix Funeral Chapel with Israel Olivo officiating. Burial will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. A prayer service will be at 7 p.m. today in Rix Funeral Chapel. Mr. Cobos was born March 29, 1960, in Chihuahua, Mexico, to Tomas Cobos and Manuela Casa Cobos. He married Alicia Alejandre on Feb. 5, 1982, in Hereford. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Jose Alfredo Cobos Jr. and Ricardo Cobos, both of Amarillo, and Miguel Angel Cobos Alejandre of Hereford; his father of Chicago and his mother of Dimmitt; three sisters, HIlda Cobos and Laucia Cobos, both of Juarez, Mexico, and Melva DeLaCruz of Dimmitt; and three brothers, Mario T. Cobos of Plainview and Marco A. He married Bobbie Ruth Raney on July 10, 1948, in Sanford. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Linda Cummings of Borger; three brothers, Gerald Naylor of Amma, W. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Memorial Park Cemetery of Ada, Okla., by Wright Funeral Home of Wheeler. Mrs. Sherrell was born May 11, 1926, to John L. and M. Alma Ryan in Patricia. She grew up in West Texas and married Glen Sherrell on July 22, 1952, in Houston. Survivors include a son, Kenny Sherrell of Copan, Okla.; two daughters, Glenda Wilson of Ada, and Penny Hilburn of Mobeetie; two brothers, Richard Ryan of McAlester, Okla., and Leland Ryan of Tulsa, Okla.; and two sisters, Louise Ennis of Cerritos, Calif., and Iris Abbott of Ada. She was a member of Church of Christ. Leal; seven children, Esmeralda Marez, Roberto Leal Jr., Dolores Chavez, Veronica Leal, Rachel Esparza, Leticia Leal and Jesucita Leal; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great- great-grandchild. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kelsey Lauren Kidd DALLAS - Kelsey Lauren Kidd, 21, died Saturday, June 18, 2005. Memorial services to celebrate Kelsey's life will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church. Arrangements are by Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home. Miss Kidd, precious daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend, passed away on June 18 in Dallas at the age of 21. Kelsey was born June 21, 1983, in Oklahoma City. Kelsey graduated from Lake Highlands High School in Dallas in 2001 and was a senior at Texas Tech University, majoring in journalism and mass communications. She was a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority and Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church in Dallas and enjoyed soccer and horseback riding. Her smile, spirit and passion will be deeply missed by her family. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Sue Carole Kidd of Amarillo, and an uncle, James Paul Wetherington. Survivors include her mother, Mary Ella Wetherington Kidd of Tulsa, Okla.; her father, Christopher Merrill Kidd and wife, Ann Fritz Kidd, of Dallas; a brother, Samuele Christopher Kidd; a sister, Elizabeth Fritz Kidd; her grandparents, Jim and Peggy Wetherington of Hot Springs, Ark., Dr. Jim L. Newcomb Celey SAN DIEGO, CALIF. - Hazel "Sugar" E. Celey, 82, died Friday, June 17, 2005, in Rancho Bernardo. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Trinity Baptist Church of Poway. Private burial will be in Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in Port Loma by California Funeral Alternatives. Mrs. Celey was born Oct. 18, 1922, in Blum, Texas. She had been a San Diego resident for 47 years and a homemaker for 65. Mr. Martinez was born Feb. 6, 1925, in Solms, Texas, to Refugio Martinez and Angelita Guajardo. He married Eugenia Martinez in Seguin, Texas. Mr. Martinez attended Eternal Rock for many years. He was one of the first members and helped purchase the church. He liked Christian TV and learned to read on his own. He enjoyed reading his Bible and loved watching TV. He was a strong man. He upheld his dignity and independence through his illness. He liked doing things for his family. He was a faithful member at Eternal Rock. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Andres Martinez; and a brother. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Rosita Jimenez of Kersey and Dolores Martinez of Longmont; four sons, Gabriel Martinez and wife, Lib, and Martin Martinez and wife, Leslie, all of Sterling, Robert Martinez and wife, Linda, of Ovid and Ramiro Martinez of Amarillo, Texas; his brother and sisters of Seguin; 16 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.
