Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Church of Christ at The Colonies with Dick Marcear officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive. Mrs. Team was born and raised in Childress and was a graduate of Childress High School. She also attended Abilene Christian College. She married W.H. "Bill" Team on Nov. 21, 1954, in Amarillo, and has been a resident of Amarillo for more than 40 years. Mrs. Team was a member of Central Church of Christ for many years, and was a charter member of the Church of Christ at The Colonies. She loved being "Memaw" to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren more than anything else. She loved playing games and was loved by many for her candy making. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Patty Vincent of Amarillo; a son, Bob Team and wife, Tammy, of Amarillo; her mother, Arradel Powell of Amarillo; three sisters, Patsy Duncan and Charlotte Powell, both of Amarillo, and Peggy Blanton and husband, Everett, of Abilene; three brothers, Joe Powell and wife, Nancy, of Kentucky, Bob Powell and wife, Kay, of Fort Worth and Ben Powell and wife, Gail, of Franklin, Tenn.; nine grandchildren, Kaye, Kaycee and Heath Vincent, Amy Ruf, Jody Team, Josh Team, Cameron and Maddie Bradley and Monica Borin. The family suggests memorials be to High Plains Children's Home and Family Services, 11461 S. Western St., Amarillo, TX 79118; or Don and Sybil Harrington Cancer Center, 1500 Wallace Blvd., Amarillo, TX 79106. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mike "Bo" Crawford Mike "Bo" Crawford, 46, of Amarillo died Tuesday, June 28, 2005. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St., with the Rev. Jerry Davey officiating. Survivors include two sons, Michael Crawford II and Ethan Crawford, both of Amarillo; his mother, Ruth King of Amarillo; his father, Homer Crawford of Hot Springs, Ark.; a brother, Jerry Crawford of Amarillo; two sisters, Judy Noyes of Mesquite and Cathy Taylor of Blanchard, Okla.; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel, Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street. Mrs. Van Buren was born June 27, 1949, in Amarillo. She worked at Texas Tech University Science Center for more than 14 years. Survivors include three daughters, Cindy Sickler of Sheridan, Wyo., and Sabrina Wilson and Crystal Thomas, both of Amarillo; and three grandchildren. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Royce Wayne Reeves Royce Wayne Reeves, 66, of Amarillo died Tuesday, June 28, 2005. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Central Church of Christ Chapel with Ed Modrick, minister, officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Mr. Reeves born Jan. 31, 1939, in Durant, Okla., and graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1957. He also earned a degree from WTSU. He married Judy Rhew in 1971. Royce was employed as a maintenance engineer at BSA hospital and TPMHMR. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Brian Davis and wife, Crystal, of Lubbock and Barry Reeves and wife, Jennifer, of Amarillo; three brothers, Curtis Reeves of Corpus Christi, George Reeves of Amarillo and Wendell Reeves of Austin; three granddaughters, Mackenzi, Shelby and Katelyn; and a grandson, Ryan. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors Colonial Chapel with Rodney Tedford, minister of Mary Ellen & Harvester Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Mrs. Carter was born Sept. 29, 1920, in Gordonville. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1927. She married W.A. Carter in November 1940 in Sayre, Okla. He preceded her in death on April 14, 1988. She was secretary of Carter Sand & Gravel, retiring in 1988. She was a member of Mary Ellen & Harvester Church of Christ. She was a member of Home Demonstration Club. She was voted "Woman of the Year" on two different occasions. She served on the board of directors of the Community Day Care Center and Salvation Army for many years. She was a volunteer with American Red Cross for more than 25 years and a volunteer with Pampa Senior Citizens Center. She was a member of Pampa Chapter No. 65 Order of the Eastern Star and an active supporter of 4-H. Survivors include a son, Bill Carter and wife, Deana, of Pampa; four brothers, Kenneth Bond of Rockwall, Sam Bond of Mansfield, Jim Bond of Houston and Jerry Bond of Amarillo; a sister, Jean Godfrey of Bryan; three grandchildren, Tammy Pickering, Billy Carter and wife, Carolyn, and David Carter and wife, Brenda, all of Pampa; and eight great-grandchildren. Finney PAMPA - Leland O. Finney, 83, died Wednesday, June 29, 2005. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Christian Church with the Rev. Barry A. Loving, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael- Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Finney was born Nov. 3, 1921, in Casey, Ill. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1935, graduating from Pampa High School in 1940. He married Norma L. Sanders on Feb. 22, 1941, in Pampa. She preceded him in death on March 5, 1976. He owned and operated Leland's Grocery & Market from 1950 until his retirement in 1972. He was a member, deacon and elder of First Christian Church, and served as chairman of the board of elders. He was a member of Pampa Masonic Lodge No. 966 AF&AM. He was preceded in death by a son, Mark R. Finney on Nov. 15, 1999. Survivors include a son, Bob Finney and wife, Susan, of Pampa; a daughter-in- law, Joan Finney of Trophy Club; a brother, James R. Rose of Sealy; and four grandchildren, Matt Finney of Dallas, Todd Finney of Frisco, and Vanessa Finney and Alicia Finney, both of Trophy Club. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Texline Mennonite Church with Stan Unruh, minister, Gary Schmidt, minister of the church, and Dean Becker of Grace Mennonite Church of Halstead, Kan., officiating. Burial will be in Texline Mennonite Cemetery by Horizon Funeral Home. Mr. Smith was born March 16, 1924, in Halstead. He married Pearl Yost on Jan. 17, 1943. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Cheleen Becker of Burns, Kan.; two sons, Elwood Smith of Dalhart and Joe Smith of West Point, Miss.; three sisters, Mildred Dirks and Malena Dirks, both of Moundridge, Kan., and Luvina Koehn of Burns; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Law CHILDRESS - Billie K. Law, 76, died Tuesday, June 28, 2005. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Childress Cemetery with the Rev. Rancy Wilson officiating. Arrangements are by Johnson Funeral Home. Mrs. Law was born Feb. 9, 1929, in Childress. She was a homemaker. Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Adams of Olustee, Okla.; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Joy Morren of Childress and Gay Allen of Wichita Falls; and a brother, Perry Morren of Childress. Slaughter, 68, died Tuesday, June 28, 2005. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. today in Perryton First Baptist Church Chapel. Arrangements are by Johnson's Good Samaritan Funeral Service of Booker. Mr. Slaughter was born Aug. 22, 1936, in Archer, Fla. He married Donna Jean Youtsey on May 23, 1959, in Tularosa, N.M. Survivors include his wife; his children, John Eugene, Lonnie Ray, Eva Ladonna Hargues and Cecelia Marie Aviles; and 14 grandchildren. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pauleta S. Wood DUMAS - Pauleta S. Wood, 93, died Feb. 15, 2005, in Carbondale, Colo. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Northlawn Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Benjamin D. Seller, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Mrs. Wood was a resident of Dumas for 47 years, where she was a very active member of the community. Survivors include a son, Jack F. Services were at 10 a.m. Wednesday in George Price Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sylvan Cargile, pastor of Ridgecrest Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the City of Levelland Cemetery. Mr. Taylor was born Jan. 6, 1956, in Lovington, N.M. He was a retired farmer and a World War II Army veteran.
