Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Holt Cemetery in San Saba County with the Rev. Ava Berry officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Mr. Germany was born in San Saba County on Nov. 17, 1923. He moved to Hutchinson County in 1931. Mr. Germany served in World War II in the European Theater with the 9th Army Air Corps, where he received a Bronze Star. After his return, he married Virginia Rogers. She preceded him in death in 1998 after 51 years of marriage. He graduated from West Texas State University with a bachelor of science degree in physics and mathematics in 1949. He applied these degrees as an engineer in the oil services industry for 45 years. He married his beloved wife, Wanda Click Germany, on June 26, 1999. They have lived in Amarillo for six years. Billy K. Germany went home to be with our Lord after a courageous battle with cancer. He will be remembered forever as a wonderful, hardworking, caring husband, father and grandfather. Survivors include his wife; a son, Roger K. Germany of Duncan, Okla.; a daughter, Donna L. Lushbaugh and husband, Robert, of Yorktown, Va.; three stepsons, Wayne Frazier of Ada, Okla., Bill Frazier of Clinton, Okla., and Jim Frazier of Amarillo; a brother, Jack Germany of Peoria, Ariz.; two grandsons, Jay Germany of Dallas and Billy Germany of London; and a great-granddaughter, Emma Joy, also of England. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd., with Cory Albracht, pastor, and Phillip Chapman officiating. Burial will be in Llano East Cemetery. Mr. Henchcliffe was born April 25, 1944, in Santa Barbara, Calif. He had lived in Arlington before moving to Amarillo three years ago. He had been a logistical engineer for Lockheed-Martin. He was a veteran of the Air Force. He married Karen Davenport on August 24, 1979, in Arlington. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Phillip Chapman and wife, Cindy, and Brandon Henchcliffe, all of Amarillo, and Blake Henchcliffe and wife, Natalie, of Canyon; a sister, Vickii Thomas and husband, Henry, of Arlington; and a grandson, Preston Chapman. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Llano Cemetery in Amarillo with Dr. Howard K. Batson officiating. Celebration of life memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of University Christian Church in Fort Worth. Arrangements are by Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive, in Amarillo. Born on March 9, 1964, Ms. Bast grew up in Amarillo, graduating from Amarillo High School in 1982. She graduated from Texas Tech University in 1985 with a degree in home economics education. Professionally, she was a nationally recognized pharmaceutical sales representative for Abbott Laboratories. In 1991, Karen moved to Fort Worth and became involved in many community organizations. She was an alumni member of Delta Delta Delta sorority and was a dedicated volunteer for the “Cookies and Castles” fundraiser benefiting Cook Children’s Medical Center. Karen also devoted her time to the Junior League of Fort Worth, American Cancer Society Cowtown Ball, Junior Woman’s Club of Fort Worth and Women’s Haven. She was preceded in death by her father, Dr. Lowell Bast, in 1996. Survivors include her mother, Margie Bast-Blades; a sister, Susan Statser of Amarillo; two brothers, David Bast of Amarillo and Randal Bast of Lenoir, N.C; four nieces; and five nephews. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Paramount Terrace Christian Church with the Rev. Bob Schroeder officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery East by Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive. Mr. Zanchettin was born and raised in Amarillo and lived here all of his life. He attended Amarillo High School before serving in the Army. He married Betty Breeding on Feb. 20, 1954, in Clovis, N.M. He worked for AT&T / Lucent Technologies for 37 years before retiring in 1992. He was a member of Paramount Terrace Christian Church. Mr. Zanchettin loved to fix things, play bridge, fish and camp. Most of all, he loved his family. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Deborah DeBerry and husband, James, of Abilene; a son, Steve Zanchettin and wife, Cathy, of Arlington; three brothers, Louie Zanchettin, Marcus Zanchettin and Otello Zanchettin, all of Amarillo; five grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Anderson was a kindhearted man with a loving heart that extended beyond his family and friends. He was a hardworking master glazier, as was his father, who passed away on June 27, 2004. He loved camping, waterskiing, swimming, family, friends and all animals big and small. He will be sorely missed by everyone his life touched. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Croft was born in Winters. He moved to Amarillo from Wichita Falls in 1958. He was manager of Conley Lott Nichols Machinery Co. for 21 years. He then worked for the city of Amarillo as the street supervisor until the time of his death. He was a member of Faith United Pentecostal Church. He loved his family and God. Survivors include his wife, Frances; a daughter, Regina Gorham of Dumas; a son, Tim Croft of Amarillo; two sisters, Pearl Wilson of Amarillo and Ruby Robertson of Holliday; and four grandchildren, Mistie Champion, Caleb Rowe, Lillianna Gorham and Lincoln Gorham, all of Dumas. Mr. Smith was born May 13, 1923, in Plainview to Ira Lee and Emily Smith. He grew up in Tulia and graduated from Tulia High School in 1940, where he played cornet in the band. He was an enthusiastic member of the Jersey Cattle Club. He farmed in Swisher County. He operated the Continental Oil Co. Warehouse and delivered fuel to area farmers. He was a faithful member of First Christian Church, where he did not miss a church service in 42 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Mildred Smith of Tulia and Kathryn Richardson of Borger; and two brothers, Gene Smith and Weldon Smith, both of Glendale, Calif.
