Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Monsignor Harold L. Waldow officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive. Mr. Phillips was born on July 30, 1983, in Amarillo, where he lived all his life. He was a 2002 graduate of Tascosa High School and attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He was a carpenter and worked for Wiley Hicks Jr. General Contractors. He was known for his tenacity, kindness and easy smile. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. Survivors include his mother, Carol Grayson, and his father, Wade Phillips, both of Amarillo; a sister, Mia Hall and husband, Monte, of Lubbock; a brother, Jarred Phillips and wife, Cindy, of Amarillo; grandparents, Arnes and Lupita Jackson of Amarillo; and a niece, Michelle Stone of Amarillo. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jordan Ashlee “Princess Jordan” Watkins Jordan Ashlee “Princess Jordan” Watkins, 9, died Monday, July 25, 2005. Services will be at 11 a.m. today in Paramount Terrace Christian Church with the Rev. Patrick Carathers officiating. Burial will be in East Llano Cemetery by Schooler Funeral Home. Ms. Watkins was born and raised in Amarillo. She attended Olsen Park Elementary School. She was a Make-A-Wish and Children’s Miracle Network child. She was a dedicated singer, dancer and artist and attended Camp Alphie. Ms. Watkins was not shy, and anyone who met her fell in love with her. She was followed in death by her grandfather, James “Jim” Watkins. Her last statement was, “I am Princess Jordan, Princess of the World.” Survivors include her parents, Billy and Christie Watkins of Amarillo; a brother, Jackie Watkins; her grandparents, William A. and Frances Gail Stewart of North Richland Hills and Carol “Nana” Watkins of Amarillo; her great- grandparents, Christine Gibson and Arvill D. Mrs. Tucker was born Aug. 12, 1941, to Buck and Josie Andrews Behne in Guymon, Okla. She married Jerry Tucker on Oct. 22, 1967. Mrs. Tucker retired as cafeteria manager at Pleasant Valley Elementary School after 21 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Darren Tucker, in 1983. Burial will be in the Gageby Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home of Wheeler. Mr. Gilmer was born on Sept. 7, 1972, in Wheeler to David L. and Winnie Gilmer. He married Shannon Simmons on April 18, 2000 in Wheeler. Mr. Gilmer lived in Wheeler Country all of his life. He attended the Briscoe schools and worked for Nabors Drilling as a tool pusher for 10 years. He was a member of the Gageby Baptist Church. His favorite pastimes were hunting and fishing. Mrs. Lyons was born July 26, 1933, in Twin Falls, Idaho, to Clifton and Evalee Woods Potter. She worked as an assistant administrator for Kings Manor and then was administrator for over 20 years. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in First Christian Church with the Rev. Barry Loving, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Kludt was born on May 4, 1947, in Tyndall, S.D. He lived in Hurley, South Dakota until the age of seven. The family moved to Orange, Texas in 1954, where he attended several schools, including Tilley Elementary School, Carr Junior High School and Little Cypress High School. He graduated salutatorian in 1965 and was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. He was the pride of his family for being the first to attend and graduate college. He graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station in May 1969 with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master of business administration degree from Wayland Baptist University in 1999. He built his engineering career with jobs at Westinghouse in Baytown and Philadelphia, Olin Chemical in Lake Charles, La., but primarily with Celanese Corp. in Pampa, where he was a loyal employee for more than two decades. His life was enriched by the people he met everywhere, but those especially in Orange and Pampa, and his spirit was nourished by fellow members of the First Christian Church in Pampa. Francis was an avid bicyclist, riding across the entire state of Texas four times, participating in the Multiple Sclerosis Bike Ride between Houston and Austin and Amarillo to Oklahoma each year. He played adult soccer for several years, coached youth teams, coached the Pampa High School girls soccer team and had continued to referee youth soccer games. He will be remembered for his selfless giving of his time, talent and open affection for his family and friends. Mr. Kludt was preceded in death by his parents, David Theodore and Nettie Marie Kludt; and a sister, Lucinda Marie Kludt of Orange. She was a member of the Hardesty High School Class of 1930 and was a homemaker and a nurses aid at the Dunaway Manor. She moved to Indiana in 1995 to be near her son. He attended school and was inducted into the Navy during World War II, where he served his country for several years. He worked as a carpenter. Services will by at 11 a.m. Friday in New Springfield Baptist Church in Atlanta by Donald Trimble Funeral Home. Local arrangements are by Golden Gate Mortuary, 1416 N. Hughes St. Mrs. Pearl worked for Amarillo Independent School District in Amarillo, Texas, from 1976 to 1998. She was an English teacher and was the first head girls basketball coach at Palo Duro High School for 11 years. She also served as athletic director for four years and assistant personnel director for eight years. Mrs. Pearl was a member of Rivers of Living Waters Apostolic Church. While living in Amarillo, she was a faithful and dedicated member of the New Light Ministries. Survivors include two daughters, Monica and Michelle of Decatur; her father, Norman Trimble of Amarillo; four sisters; and two sisters.
