Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Martin Road Chapel Funeral and Cremation Services, 1505 Martin Road, with the Rev. Robert Field, Baptist minister, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mrs. Peoples-Savage was born March 7, 1940, in Post to Hubert and Liberty Anthony. She was formerly married to Earl Peoples, who passed away in December 1992 following 32 years of marriage. She was a loyal employee of Toot'n Totum No. 44 for 14 years. She also worked for United Supermarket. Kay was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, granny and friend to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Earl Peoples; a grandson, Jonathan Peoples; her parents; and a brother, Royce Anthony. Survivors include her husband, Lewis Savage; three sons, Roger Peoples and wife, Cindy, Doug Peoples and wife, Karan, and David Peoples and wife, Milisa, all of Amarillo; three grandsons, Phillip Peoples, Trevor Peoples and Tanner Peoples, all of Amarillo; a stepson, Shannon Savage of Dallas; a stepdaughter, Tajuana Ray Boyn of Dallas; and three stepgrandsons, Michael and Bailey Savage of Tennessee and Charles Jay Kennedy. The family suggests memorials be to BSA Hospice, 600 N. Tyler St., Amarillo, TX 79107 or Make-A-Wish Foundation, 411 S. Fillmore St., Amarillo, TX 79101. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bertha "Granny Bert" McGrew Bertha "Granny Bert" McGrew, 94, of Amarillo died Thursday, July 28, 2005. Services will be at 4 p.m. today in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with Dr. Chester Beavers officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. McGrew loved to cook such dishes as smothered chicken, cornbread and vegetables. When you mention the word, "Love," you think Granny Bert. Survivors include a son, Cecil Livingston; 11 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and great-great-great- grandchildren. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Oklahoma Fred William Cawlfield GUYMON, OKLA. - Fred William Cawlfield, 89, died Wednesday, July 27, 2005, in Amarillo, Texas. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Bardon Cemetery, northwest of Guymon, with the Rev. Odie Nunley officiating. Arrangements are by Bunch- Roberts Funeral Home. Mr. Cawlfield was born Sept. 10, 1915, in Estancia, N.M. He married Naomi Mae Ralstin on Feb. 8, 1946, in Liberal, Kan. Survivors include four children, Teryl Cawlfield, Koleta Scott and Bradley Cawlfield, all of Guymon, and Marquetti Ward of Denton, Texas; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; and a sister, Lois Hinchey of Guymon. The family suggests memorials be to Bardon Cemetery or Dunaway Manor in Guymon and may be sent in care of the funeral home, P.O. Services will be at 11 a.m. today in Reydon Community Church with the Rev. Alberta Helton officiating. Burial will be in White Rose Cemetery by Rose Chapel Funeral Service of Cheyenne. Mrs. Tice was born July 15, 1912, in Rankin to Ethel Leona Garver and Anderson Willamson Garver. She married Clyde Tice Sr. on July 22, 1931, in Reydon. Survivors include two daughters, Kathryn Bottom of Reydon and Wanda Matthews of Dalhart, Texas; a son, Ronald Tice of Arnett; 14 grandchildren; 18 great- grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Hester Hickey of Reydon. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
