Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Potter House Christian Church. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Mrs. Rodriguez was born March 19, 1978, in Monterrey Park, Calif. She had been a manager at Albertsonís. Survivors include her parents, Maria and Richard Rodriguez Jr. of Amarillo; a daughter, Wensdae Erdman of Amarillo; a son, Ryan Stages of Ringling, Okla.; two brothers, Daniel Rodriguez and Noah Rodriguez, both of Amarillo; and her grandparents, Rachel and Richard Rodriquez of Baldwin Park, Calif. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Joe Ybarra Joe Ybarra, 40, of Amarillo died Thursday, July 28, 2005, in Pinellas County, Fla. Rosary will be said at 6 p.m. today in Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Monsignor Rex Nicholl officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mr. Ybarra was born in Lockney and moved to Amarillo in 1970 from Perryton. He worked as a truck driver for Stevens Trucking. Joe was a good son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. Joe was always happy, we never saw him mad and he was a friend to all. He was easyoing, fun-loving and a smiling joyful person that brought joy and laughter to us all. Besides liking to drive a truck, he loved playing pool and being around his friends and family. He played in the city pool league and he worked at Owens Corning last year. He then took up truck driving for Stevens Transport. We will miss his exciting calls from all the places he traveled. The way he described each place was as though we were there with him. Joe was also an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. We all loved him and will miss him very much and carry him in our hearts always. God needed another trucker. Now he is at home. Survivors include his father and stepmother, Lou Ybarra Sr. and wife, Irene, of Amarillo; three sisters, Rosa Garner and Janie Ybarra, both of Amarillo, and Lupe Romero of El Paso; four brothers, Manuel Ybarra and Lou Ybarra Jr., both of Amarillo, Johnny Ybarra of El Paso and Richard Ybarra of Canyon; 14 nieces; and 11 nephews. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Area David Romero Arguijo DIMMITT ó David Romero Arguijo, 34, died Thursday, July 28, 2005. Burial will be at West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Arguijo was born in Dimmitt. He was a truck driver for Plains Trucking Co. He loved to spend time with his family, wife and friends. He enjoyed watching football with his sons and spending time truck driving and being in his truck. He enjoyed barbecuing, playing his guitar and spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elena Arguijo. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Mount Hope Cemetery in Independence, Kan. Mr. Fansler retired from Pantex after 33 years and was owner/operator of Donís Saveway Service Station, 1401 N. Grand St. His hobby was antique cars, and he was a member of Texas Panhandle Model A Club, Amarillo Antique Club and Panhandle Studebaker Club. He was a veteran of the Air Force. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Hazel D. Fansler; a sister, Jean Cary; and his mother, Florence Green. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Mert Cooper, a Presbyterian minister from Canadian, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Hasse was born May 28, 1916, in Camp Douglas, Wis., where she graduated as valedictorian of her class. She received her teaching degree from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater, and her masterís degree in business education from Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill. She taught school at Mauston, Wis., where she met her husband of 61 years, Warren L. Hasse. They were married Jan. 31, 1944, at Avon Park Army Air Field in Florida. Following his honorable discharge from the service in 1945, they lived in Portage, Wis., moving to Pampa in 1948. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Presbyterian Womenís Association, and was a Sunday school teacher. She was a former member of the 20th Century Culture Club, and was a Cub Scout den mother, among her numerous volunteer activities. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother and homemaker. She had a deep love for her family and friends, keeping in touch with letters and cards, and had a deep concern for animals of all kinds. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Jeri Ann Hasse; her parents, Fred and Nettie Johnson; and a sister, Dorothy Walters. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mary Schwab and husband, Robert, of Pampa; a son, John L. Hasse of Canyon; and two granddaughters, Linda Sue Schwab and Sarah Marie Schwab, both of Pampa. Mrs. Williams was born Dec. 21, 1921, in South Plains, Texas, to Warren Richard and Girlie Hewitt Thomas. She had been a resident of Barton County for the past three years and was formerly of Tulia, Texas, Hereford, Texas, Amarillo, Texas, and Lubbock, Texas. She owned and operated a beauty shop in Tulia and was a member of the Methodist church. She married Leslie Carol Kurtz in 1941. She later married E.R. Williams in 1962. She was preceded in death by both husbands. Mrs. Jones was born in Abilene to Edgel Leon Martin and Elizabeth Brock Martin. She was raised in Paducah and Abilene by her maternal grandparents, George and Fannie Brock. Peggy married J. Keith Jones in Oklahoma City on June 4, 1948, after graduating from Oklahoma State University. Peggy was active in First United Methodist Church of Canyon as well as Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity at West Texas State. She was a member of several bridge clubs and the museum auxiliary. Peggy was an avid supporter of the arts, music and social life in the Panhandle. She was preceded in death by her husband of Canyon; and a sister, Betty M. Robertson of Amarillo.
