Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in First United Methodist Church in Clarendon with the Rev. Kenneth Metzger, interim pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon. Mrs. Bilbrey was born Sept. 18, 1939, in Amarillo and lived most of her early life there. She was a Clarendon resident for approximately 20 years before returning to Amarillo three years ago. Her family's ancestral roots go back to the Republic of Texas. She was a member of DAR. Her grandmother was Mattie Whittenburg-Hedgecoke. She married Donnie Ray Bilbrey on Oct. 1, 1962, in Amarillo. She and her family had owned several area businesses including Hedgecoke Motors and Western Plaza in Amarillo, and the Goodnight Ranch. She was a Methodist. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1999; and a brother, James Andrew "Jimmie" Hedgecoke Jr. Survivors include two daughters, Tanya Kay Clason of Panhandle and Jimmie Kim Blair of Amarillo; three sons, Gary Lee Bilbrey of Canadian, and Cecil Chan Bilbrey and Joe Don Bilbrey, both of Clarendon; a brother, Gary Richard Hedgecoke of Amarillo; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Mrs. Garcia moved to Amarillo five years ago from Mexico. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Laurence Cathedral. Osage St. Mr. Sanchez was born in Clayton, N.M., and spent most of his life in Amarillo. He married his high school sweetheart in 1992 in Amarillo. He is loved by his wife and children. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Calvary Christian Fellowship with the Rev. Joe G. Jernigan, pastor, and James Connor officiating. Burial will be in Kelton Cemetery in Kelton by Wright Funeral Directors. Mrs. Killingsworth was born March 15, 1930, in Ada, Okla., to Vernon and Bettie Burris Howard. She married Kenneth Killingsworth on Dec. 21, 1952, in Quartsite, Ariz. They resided in California for several years before moving to Kelton to farm, and later owned and operated the Kelton Gin. She was an active member of Kelton Baptist Church. Audra was a wife, homemaker, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and her table was always abundant with food for family, friends and the unexpected guest. She spent her later years in Shamrock caring for her family. She also attended Calvary Christian Fellowship. She was preceded in death by two brothers; and a grandchild, Ruth Killingsworth. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Sharon Graves and husband, Ralph, of Hedley and Tracey Duerr and husband, Mike, of Canute, Okla.; a son, David Killingsworth and wife, Robbie, of Fort Worth; two brothers, Ira Howard and Cecil Howard, both of Blythe, Calif.; a sister, Betty Rochester of Yuma, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces, nephews and friends. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Raymond McGehee Area Publication Date: 08/10/05 LAZBUDDIE - Raymond McGehee, 83, died Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2005. Mr. McGehee was born Nov. 28, 1921, in Southland. He married Tommie Bartlett in Memphis on Aug. 15, 1943. He was very active in the Lazbuddie community. He was a Parmer County commissioner for 24 years and served on the school board at one time. He was an avid domino player and a wagon train enthusiast. Raymond served our country in the Air Force during World War II. He was a farmer and a member of Lazbuddie Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his wife, Tommie in 2001; a daughter, Jeane Mills on July 22, 2004; a grandson, Russell Mills; a sister; and two brothers. Mrs. Maeker was born Oct. 10, 1915, in Hamlin, one of eight children born to Austin C. and Annie Rose. She graduated from Lubbock High School and Texas Tech. Luceil was a home economics teacher at Wilson High School, where she met her future husband, Robert Maeker. They were married on Sept. 1, 1940, in McAdoo. In 1954, she and her husband established Maeker's Shoes. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and was a longtime Sunday school teacher. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Daphne Rose McGowen and husband, LeRoy, of Waco and Trudy Kay Hindman and husband, Ray, of Amarillo; a son, Stephen Robert and wife, Teresa, of Lubbock; a brother, Austin Rose Jr.; four sisters, Katherine Spratt, Juanita Willis, Jo Barton and Joyce Johnson; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ruth Rosa Booch ElseWhere Publication Date: 08/10/05 DOTHAN, ALA. - Ruth Rosa Booch, 83, died Friday, Aug. 5, 2005. Memorial services in Amarillo, Texas, are pending. Arrangements are by Byrd Funeral Home. Mrs. Booch was born Dec. 20, 1921, in Esslingen, Germany. She served as an interpreter for the U.S. military in Bamberg, Germany, from 1946 through 1947, where she met her husband, Ernest Lewis Booch. She became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 1952. From 1969 to 1972, she served as program director of the Greater Amarillo Chapter of the American Red Cross and then from 1972 to 1983 served as its executive director. She was awarded boss of the year for 1982/1983 by the American Business Woman's Association and in 1980, was one of the finalists for the Amarillo Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Woman of the Year award. After her retirement from the Red Cross in 1983, Mrs. Booch moved to Alabama for the birth of her grandson, Thomas. She remained in Alabama and became the ultimate, loving grandmother to Thomas until his untimely death in 2004. Throughout her life she was active in a number of civic activities, including various USAF Officers Wives Clubs, YMCA committees, PTA, International Club, American Field Service and Altrusa Club. She loved reading, painting and sewing. She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years; a grandson, Thomas Lewis Lindsay; her parents, Franz and Helene Mller; two sisters, Helene and Liesel; and a brother, Erich. Survivors include a daughter, Helen Lindsay and husband, Tom, of Dothan; two sons, Grady Booch and wife, Jan, of Littleton, Colo., and Peter Krssinger and wife, Edith, of Mglingen, Germany; and a grandson, Markus Krssinger of Mglingen.The family suggests memorials be to the American Red Cross, Texas Panhandle Chapter, 1800 S.
