Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Llano Cemetery with John Blakley Jr. officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Mr. Hirsch was born Nov. 13, 1965, in Amarillo. He was a member of First Christian Church. Mr. Hirsch was a veteran of the 82nd Airborne Division. Survivors include his mother, Frances Ann Hirsch of Amarillo; a brother, Kyle of Amarillo; a grandmother, Frances Powell of Amarillo; an aunt and uncle, Jim and Shelley Wright of Fredericksburg; and two nieces, Alex and Nicole Wright, both of Fredericksburg. The family suggest memorials be to SPCA, 800 W. Third Ave., Amarillo TX 79101. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Elsewhere Carlah Raye Chapman Dauer MORGANTOWN, N.C. - Carlah Raye Chapman Dauer, 66, died Saturday, Aug. 13, 2005. Private family burial will be Thursday in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Pampa, Texas. Local arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Mrs. Dauer was a former resident of Pampa, moving to Morgantown in 2001. She was employed by Grace Hospital in Morgantown as a housekeeper in the operating room. Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Hall of Morgantown; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Canyon Haskell Moore Haskell Moore, 93, of Canyon died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2005. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Seaside Chapel in Corpus Christi. Burial will be in Seaside Memorial Park Cemetery by Brooks Funeral Directors of Canyon. Mr. Moore was born Dec. 18, 1911, in Milam County to Elisha and Texas Ward Moore. He was a member of Norton Street Church of Christ in Corpus Christi and moved to Canyon in 1995, where he became a member of University Church of Christ. He was a godly man and his church work and family were his priorities. His family and friends looked to him for advice and wisdom, and he will be remembered for his great storytelling. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Florence Turner Moore in 1997. Survivors include two daughters, Beverly Farris and husband, Jim, of Canyon and Carole Vorgity and husband, Emil, of Memphis, Tenn.; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to High Plains Children's Home, P.O. Box 7448, Amarillo, TX 79114. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home in Canyon and from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Seaside Chapel in Corpus Christi.
