Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 S. Bell Ave. Mrs. Casteel was married to Euel Casteel for 75 years before his death. She enjoyed quilting, cooking and most of all her family. Survivors include two sons, Russell Casteel of Amarillo and Jackie Casteel of Kansas; a sister, Beatrice Richard of Shippingsburg, Pa.; a niece, Marla Birdsong of Amarillo; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and a great- great-grandchild. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Carson Allen Stacy Carson Allen Stacy, infant son of Betty Stacy and John Eiland, of Amarillo died Thursday, Sept. 15, 2005. Arrangements are by Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive. Carson was born Sunday, Sept. 11, 2005. Survivors include his mother of Amarillo; his father of Clayton, N.M.; his grandmothers, Juanita Stacy of Amarillo and Fran Eiland of Clayton; two aunts, Sally King and husband, Jeff, of Amarillo and Ellen Murray and husband, David, of Lubbock; an uncle, Kenny Stacy and wife, Christy, of Lubbock. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Area Josephine Anderson SILVERTON - Josephine Anderson, 91, died Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2005, in Lubbock. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Rance Young and the Rev. Jay Stinson officiating. Burial will be in Silverton Cemetery. Arrangements are by Moore-Rose-White Funeral Home of Floydada. Mrs. Anderson was born March 28, 1914, in Silverton to the late Roy and Mary (Haynes) Daniel. She was a granddaughter of some of the early pioneer families of Briscoe County. She married Clarence Edgar Anderson in November 1938 in Silverton. He preceded her in death in April 1956. After her husband's death, Josephine managed the Guarantee Abstract Co. until she retired, She enjoyed many years of participation as a member of the March of Times Study Club. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Silverton. She enjoyed collecting rocks, bird watching and traveling. She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Leonard Koslowski. Survivors include a son, Joe Anderson and wife, Brenda, of Fort Worth; a daughter, Susan Koslowski of Lubbock; and four grandchildren, Carol and Cathy Koslowski and Ashley and Thomas Anderson. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Best was born Sept. 25, 1987, in Granbury. He was a sophomore at Pampa High School. Survivors include his mother, Pam Best of Pampa; his father and stepmother, Randy and Cherrie Best of Old River Winfree; two brothers, Dillon Best of Houston and Kyle McElroy of Pampa; a sister, Brooke Darnell of Pampa; a stepbrother, John Henry of Houston; two stepsisters, Tammy of Old River Winfree and Sherrie of Mount Bellview; his grandmother, Jerry Evans of Pampa; his grandfather, Pete Hughes of Pampa; and his great-grandmother, Carrie Hughes of Pampa. Russell, Pampa, TX 79065. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mabel Parker BRISCOE - Mabel Parker, 95, died Thursday, Sept. 15, 2005. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Allison United Methodist Church in Allison with Ricky Carstensen, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Zybach Cemetery in Briscoe. Arrangements are by Wright Funeral Home of Wheeler. Matriarch of family Mrs. Parker was born Sept. 1, 1910, to George Albert and Lucy Gertrude Blair Brown in what is now Briscoe. She was a descendent of those pioneers who settled this country in the Oklahoma Cherokee Outlet land rush. For most of her 95 years, she lived her life and raised her family on land that has been in her family for over a century. She died less than one mile from where she was born in Briscoe. Mabel Parker was the mother of six children. For the last seven years she has been able to enjoy five generations of her loving family. They will never forget her warm, intelligent and humorous personality. She leaves behind history, stories and love that will live with our family forever. We love her and will miss her. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Margaret Lucy Gilmer and Mary Ann Ault. Survivors include three sons, William Lee Ault and Melvin Ray Ault, both of Amarillo and Jimmy Joe Ault of Port O'Conner; a daughter, Dorothy Mae Ogle, Briscoe; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great- grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Wheeler United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ricky Carstensen, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Wheeler Community Cemetery. Arrangements are by Wright Funeral Directors. Mrs. Hill married Allen Reed Hill on July 25, 1935, in Waco. They moved to the Twitty community in 1970. Survivors include a daughter, Glenda Hill Webber of San Antonio. The family suggests memorials be to the charity of choice. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Elsewhere Thomas Chanslor Campbell WIMBERLEY - Thomas Chanslor Campbell, 58, died Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2005. Graveside services were Saturday in Wimberley Cemetery. Memorial services were in Cypress Creek Church. Arrangements were by Thomason Funeral Home. Thomas Chanslor Campbell passed away Sept. 14 after a long and courageous fight with lung cancer. Tom was born Feb. 15, 1947, at Amarillo to Thomas and Mary Ann Campbell. He served five years in the Army. Some of Tom's most treasured memories were summers spent at the Weymouth and Kritser ranches in the Texas Panhandle. He was a man of the outdoors and loved to get up early in the morning, especially when it came to fishing. Tom had a unique sense of detail and vision which he incorporated into his home and the homes he built for others. Whenever Tom entered a room, he had an uncanny ability to envelop everyone with his jovial sense of humor, stories and love. After observing his children's walk with the Lord, he began to passionately pursue the Lord himself. As his strength in the Lord grew, it enabled him to courageously confront all of his medical challenges. Tom's love for fishing, his friends, working on classic cars, spicy food and great music was in no comparison to the love he had for his wife and children. He left his family with the love and strength they would need to move forward into their futures. Survivors include his loving wife Deborah Campbell; his beloved daughters, Karly Campbell and Skyler Campbell of Wimberley; son-in-law to-be, Tanner Kothman of San Marcos; his twin sister, Elizabeth Ann Masterson of San Angelo; a cousin, Edmond L. and Shawn Bradshaw of Fort Worth; his cherished nieces and nephews, Thomas "Tey" W. Miller, Michael W. and Leslie Campbell II, Rob and Sarah Konier of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and Shannon K. DeFord of Amarillo. Tom was the grandson of Chanslor E. and Fanny Fern Weymouth and the great- grandson of prominent Texas cattle rancher, R.B. Masterson of Amarillo. He is also survived by many loving members of the extended Masterson family. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, an older sister, Mary Ann "Mimsey" Campbell Heth and a younger brother, Michael W. Campbell. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Directors of Borger. Mrs. Johnson was born May 3, 1947, to James and Johnnye Stephen. She was a lab tech at ConocoPhillips Philtex Plant and a member of First Baptist Church in Borger. Survivors include a son, Micah Johnson of Spring; a daughter, Leslie Roe of Borger; a brother, Neal Stephen of Baytown; two sisters, Stephanie Osborne of Houston and Jennifer Winegeart of Borger; and five grandchildren. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Oklahoma Michael Joe Driscoll BUFFALO, OKLA. - Michael Joe Driscoll, 41, died Thursday, Sept. 15, 2005. Mr. Driscoll was born Nov. 5, 1963, in Pryor to Donald Manford and Patsy Sue (Martin) Driscoll. He was a truck driver for Nard Trucking Inc. Mr. Freeman was born Sept. 3, 1923, at Texhoma to Carl and Sara Elizabeth (Berry) Freeman. He married Reba Lois Dotson on April 19, 1945, in Dalhart, Texas. Survivors include his wife; a son, Jerry Fred Freeman of Yukon; three daughters, Lois Metcalf of Hooker, Faye LaNelle Purvine of Oakwood and Betty Louise Adams of Manter, Kan.; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Arrangements are by Henson-Novak Funeral Directors. Mr. Frantz was born Jan. 18, 1918, in Williams to Neva (Wright) and Joseph Frantz. Mr. Frantz came to Guymon in 1947 and married Dorothy "Dottie" Wilbourne on October 5, 1949, in Clayton, N.M. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Jacalyn Spain of Guymon; two grandchildren; and a brother, George Frantz of Jensen Beach, Fla. Mr. Grove was born March 9, 1937, in Guymon and was raised between Guymon and Hardesty, where he farmed. In May 1978 the family moved to Guymon, where he worked for Adams Hardfacing for nearly 21 years. Survivors include his wife, Mattie L. Grove; three children, Harold Grove of Tulsa, Brenda Boomhower of Orange Park, Fla., and Donny Grove of Guymon; two granddaughters; and a sister, Mrs. Rondal (Ruth) Thompson of Hooker.
