Services were at 11 a.m. Thursday in Hereford Heritage Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with the Rev. H. Wyatt Bartlett, retired pastor, officiating. Graveside services were at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Fairview Cemetery in Memphis. Mrs. Fowler was born March 16, 1919, in Loretta, Tenn., to William Harper and Nancy Glover Harper. She married E.R. Fowler on Nov. 12, 1978, in Hereford. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Kathy Axe of Paradise Valley, Ariz.; a stepson, James Fowler of Franklinton, La.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Mr. McIntosh was born Jan. 6, 1980, to James and Judy Mooney McIntosh. He was a loving father, brother and son. Burial will be in Bowers Cemetery in Shamrock by Golden Gate Mortuary, 1416 N. Hughes St. Mrs. Bryant was a member of St. James Baptist Church. She was a beloved mother and wife. She was preceded in death by her husband, Columbus, a son, Donald, and her mother, Mable. Survivors include seven daughters, Ada Asante, Ethel Angton, Mattie Bryant, Mary Bryant, Mable Dickson, all of Amarillo, Gladys Menefield of Shamrock and Peggy Bryant of Stockton, Calif.; two sons, C.B. Bryant of Shamrock and John Bryant of Stockton; 24 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Theron Wayne Holland Theron Wayne Holland, 72, of Amarillo died Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2005. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon with the Rev. Bryan Knowles, pastor of Community Fellowship Church in Clarendon, officiating. Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon. Mr. Holland was born June 5, 1933, to William Howard Holland and Clara Eleanor Beavers Holland in Amarillo. He married Velma Evone Heathington on Dec. 6, 1948, when he was 15 and she was 16 years old. They were together for 56 years. After 55 years of marriage, they learned that they were sixth cousins, descendants of Thomas Camp III. Mr. Holland lost his father to a lightning strike when he was 6 years old. He was the middle son of five brothers. He had to go to work at age 10 to help support his younger brothers. He worked in a hatchery, grocery stores and as a farm hand. As an adult, he was a farmer, delivered freight, was a warehouse manager and for almost 40 years, was a salesman in electrical supplies. He worked for Cummins Supply Co. in Amarillo, C.B. Anderson Electric in Tulsa, Okla., and Southwest Electric in Oklahoma City and when he retired in 1998, he was with Techline Inc. in Amarillo. He traveled the Texas Panhandle, Western Oklahoma, Southern Kansas, Eastern New Mexico and Eastern Colorado. He made many good friends among his customers who valued him for his honesty and dependability, for his friendly face, his cheery smile and the thousands of doughnuts he brought with him over the years. He was always ready to go the extra mile for his friends and his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Harold Leon Holland, Garland Lonzo Holland and Murl Howard Holland. Georgia St. Mr. Stephenson was born May 12, 1952, in Groom to Glen and Cuba Nell Stephenson. He graduated from Claude High School in 1970. Although Lonnie and Eva did not marry until May 8, 2004, they grew up together in Claude. Lonnie was in the oil industry in the production property economic analysis division. Mrs. Piekielniak was born May 30, 1922, in Hebbronville to Thomas Henry Woods and Verna Irene Woods. She attended Abilene Christian University in Abilene. Her primary residence was in the Denver area with her first husband, Frederick James Campbell Sr. They were married for 43 years and spent 20 of those years in Denver enjoying many close friendships and the Rocky Mountains that she loved so dearly. She married Fred P. Piekielniak on July 19, 1989, in Amarillo. She was a member of Southwest Church of Christ, where she and Fred enjoyed together many wonderful years of friendships and fellowship. She loved her family equally and unconditionally, but above all, she lived a faithful Christian life. The family sends their special thanks to BSA Hospice for their devoted care. She was preceded in death by her first husband; her parents; a sister, Josephine Fasnacht; and two sons, Frederick James Campbell II and Ronald Thomas Campbell. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Mrs. Ashby was born May 26, 1913, in Hotchkiss, Colo., to Ed TeGrotenhuis. She married Stump Ashby, and they settled in Amarillo where they had three sons. Mrs. Ashby was a hairdresser for 20 years in various locations including Pleasant Valley. She was a longtime member of St. Stephen United Methodist Church and was a member of Bridge Builders Sunday School class. She will be remembered for her strong faith in God and her positive outlook on life. She was preceded in death by her husband, and two sons John Ashby and Steve Ashby. Survivors include a sister, Alice Holt of Austin; a brother, Ken TeGrotenhuis of Hotchkiss; a son, Dan Ashby of Cypress; a granddaughter, Dana Ashby of Cypress; and numerous nieces and nephews. Popham, 75, died Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2005. Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Monte Kreis officiating and Dr. Dean English assisting. Burial will be in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery by Hughs Funeral Home. Mr. Popham was born Dec. 10, 1929, in Lipscomb County to the late Mr. Lee Popham and Mrs. Della Adair Popham. He was a 1948 graduate of Canadian High School. He married Pat McMeans on June 7, 1951, at First Baptist Church in Canadian. He moved to Canadian in 1951 from Lipscomb County. Bill was a farmer on the family farm in Lipscomb County until the late 1980s. He retired in March 1992 from the Texas Department of Transportation. He was a member of the Canadian Volunteer Fire Department, past president of the Canadian Lions Club and Hemphill County Hospice board. He was also a member of First United Methodist Church and the American Cancer Society. Survivors include his wife; a son, Keith Popham and wife, Rhonda, of Houston; a daughter, Sally Anderson and husband, Joe, of Perryton; a sister, Minnie Lee Howard of Amarillo; six grandchildren, Sarah Collins of Webster, Cole Popham and Gary Popham, both of College Station, Ray Anderson of San Marcos and Gordon Anderson and Jackson Anderson, both of Perryton. Mrs. Bell was born Nov. 23, 1921, in Clarendon and was a longtime resident of Hall County, where she and her husband, T.W. Bell Jr., operated a ranch north of Turkey. She was very active in community affairs. She served as president of the Turkey Lions Club, was a member of Turkey Proud and the TEEA. She served as a chairperson of the Turkey Relay for Life, the Turkey City Christmas Decorations Committee, the Turkey Senior Citizens and the JA Ranch Reunion. She was a member of the Floydada Red Hats and several other civic organizations. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1986; and a son, Jack Bell, in 1984. Survivors include two grandchildren, Billie Kirk Bell and Jaclyn Booth, both of Amarillo. Burial will be in North Fairview Cemetery by Adams Funeral Home. Mrs. Crelia was born June 23, 1938, in Wellington to Sandy K. Parsons Jr. and Lois McMillian Parsons. She married Lyndon Crelia on June 10, 1956, in Wellington. Survivors include two daughters, Belinda Palacios of Canyon and Kathy Needham of Wellington; her mother of Wellington; a sister, Mary Lockhart of Dimmitt; a brother, Sandy K. Parsons III of Dimmitt; and three grandchildren. Graveside services will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Amarillo. Mrs. Miller was born in 1932 in Amarillo and graduated from Amarillo High School. Mrs. Miller was a 22 year resident of Hereford. She was employed by KGNC Radio in Amarillo and in the dentistry profession in the Houston area. Joy married the late Mike Miller on March 7, 1956, in Clayton, N.M. They raised three sons in Maryland, California, Hawaii and Texas. He preceded her in death on Dec. 12, 2003. Survivors include two sons, Michael Miller of Hereford and Phillip Miller of San Diego; a daughter, Gina Miller of Palm Springs, Calif.; a granddaughter, Destiny Joy Miller; and two grandsons, Sean Miller and Jonathan Miller. Mr. Sutton was born June 27, 1925, in Hammond, Okla., to Jake and Eula Mae Sutton. He married Bonnie Bailey on Oct. 29, 1944, in Cordell, Okla. They were married for 60 years. Mr. Sutton was in the Navy from 1943 to 1944. He was a barber for many years until he retired and moved back to McLean, where he raised cattle and horses until the time of his death. He was preceded in death by a daughter, LaDonna Sutton in 2002 Survivors include his wife; two sons, Danny Sutton and wife, Nina, of South Carolina and Dennis Sutton and wife, Vicki, of California; a daughter, Taylor Casey and husband, Cole, of California; 10 grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Sunday in Resthaven Park Mortuary. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Sunday in Resthaven Park Cemetery. Mrs. Cooper was born Nov. 12, 1917, to Arthur A. Kearns and Grace May Booth Kearns in Shattuck, Okla. On Oct. 14, 1930, tragedy struck the family when the parents and Viola, the baby, were killed in a train/car accident. The remaining nine children were placed with family and friends. Being separated at an early age did not stop the children from being close until their deaths. Inez moved to Amarillo, Texas, at age 18 to pursue a career in nursing. She met and married Edward Eugene "Tutt" Cooper and raised four sons. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched. Survivors include four sons, Darrell Cooper and wife, Ida, of Phoenix, and Duane Cooper and wife, Meredith, Eddie Cooper and wife, Ann, and Malcolm Cooper and wife, Robin, all of Austin, Texas; 11 grandchildren, Doug Cooper, Stephanie Warner, Elizabeth Carsner, Chris Cooper, Teresa McCutcheon, Gabe Cooper, Ross Cooper, Kristen Cooper, Caroline Cooper, Champion Cooper and William Cooper; and five great-grandchildren, Ben Carsner, Robin Carsner, Claire Warner, Charlotte Warner and Baby McCutcheon.
