Ronald Bob Hudson Sgt. Ronald Bob Hudson, 52, died Saturday, Oct. 29, 2005. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church with Chaplain Merrill Gilbert and Mike Ecker officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive. Sgt. Hudson was born April 8, 1953, in Amarillo, where he was raised, and was a 1971 graduate of Canyon High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy where he served in Vietnam. He married Penny Griffin on April 7, 1973, in Amarillo. He served as a police officer for the Amarillo Police Department from 1973 until the time of his death. Sgt. Hudson had a passion for police work and was respected and loved by all that worked with him. He was a member of the Pioneer Gun Club Association. Survivors include his wife Penny; a son, Toby Hudson and wife, Jennifer, of Amarillo; a brother, Rickie Hudson and wife, Sharon, of Amarillo; his mom and dad-in-law, Billy and Mary Jo Griffin of Amarillo; his favorite sister-in-law, Reba Beaudoin of Amarillo; three nieces, Sami Solbrig, Chloe Beaudoin, and Michelle Chalmers; and two nephews, Bobby Dale Hudson and John Wilson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. today. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in The Church at Quail Creek San Jacinto Baptist with Dr. Stan Coffey and Jim Fox, spiritual care coordinator of Vista Care Hospice, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mr. Price was born Feb. 2, 1924, in Maysville, Okla., to Emmett and Della Price. He graduated in Elmore City, Okla. He married Ruth L. Blackburn on Dec. 24, 1941, in Marlow, Okla. He served in the U.S. Army in the 186th Infantry during World War II in the Pacific Theater. He was among the first troops in Hiroshima. He retired from the Overhead Door Co. after 40 years. He loved to fish and garden. Many family members and friends benefitted from his beautiful garden. He and his wife were longtime members of The Church at Quail Creek San Jacinto Baptist and also were members of the Sears Retirement Club. In December, Mr. and Mrs. Price would have celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary. He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, R.J., Kent and Glen Roy Price. The family will receive visitors from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Price; a daughter, Dania North of Lubbock; a son, David R. Weir Zachary B. Weir, 15, of Amarillo died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2005. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Llano Cemetery with Rabbi Lawrence Jackofsky officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Zach was born Feb. 18, 1990, in Amarillo. He was a sophomore at Amarillo High School. He also attended St. Andrew's Day School in Amarillo and Milken Community High School in Los Angeles. He was an excellent student who loved to read, learn, play guitar and interactive video games and hang out with his many friends, including Jameson F., John U., Matthew D., John S., Tyler M., Colby C. and Samm C. Zach became a Bar Mitzvah on May 10, 2003, at the Stephen Wise Synagogue in Los Angeles. He loved to share his knowledge, particularly of Judaism, with others and he taught younger children at the Temple B'Nai Israel religious school. He was truly a wonderful young man, an excellent son, a loving brother and a caring friend. He touched the lives of many people and will missed by all. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jaime; and grandparents, Mary Frances and Grady Weir. Survivors include his father, David L. Weir of Amarillo; two brothers, David S. Weir and his wife, Rebecca, of West Lafayette, Ind., and Patrick S. Weir of Tulsa, Okla., and his fiancee, Mackenzie Hill of Amarillo; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jules Leshansky of Tucson, Ariz.; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Services were Saturday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Eddie Tubbs, pastor, officiating and the Rev. Dan Turner of Dumas, longtime family friend, assisting. Burial will be in Northlawn Memorial Gardens by Morrison Funeral Directors. Mrs. Clark was born April 18, 1946, in Amarillo. She graduated from Dumas High School in 1964. She was a Moore County resident all her life. She married Howard Clark on Feb. 25, 1966. She was a homemaker and served for 35 years as organist for First Baptist Church in Dumas. She taught private piano lessons for more than 35 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Dean Jackson. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Brent Clark and wife, Nicole, of Dumas and Brad Clark and wife, Christi, of Amarillo; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Nathalee and L.S. Mr. Graham was born July 29, 1927, in Jetmore, Kan. He married Jackie Rutherford on June 3, 1961, in Amarillo. He was a shift foreman for Northern National Gas / Enron for 32 years before retiring in 1984. He was a veteran of the Navy, serving in World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife in 2004. Survivors include two daughters, Michelle Tarver and husband, David of Memphis and Shanda Graham of Amarillo; a granddaughter, Danica Mahanay of Amarillo; a grandson, Dace Mahanay of San Angelo; a sister, Vangie Spillman of Oklahoma City; and eight nieces and nephews. Arrangements are by Adams Funeral Home. Mr. Hartman was born Dec. 15, 1926, in the Buckcreek community of Collingsworth County to Wren Hartman and Myrtle Janes Hartman. He married Margaret Vaughan on Aug. 14, 1949, in Wellington. Survivors include his wife; a son, Earl Hartman of Clarendon; a daughter, Lisa Manuel of Wellington; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandson. Burial will be in Stinnett Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Mary Hazel Lasater was a pioneer lady in Hutchinson County, being born in Stinnett on April 20, 1916, to H. I. and Obera Gay. She lived in Hutchinson County all her life and was a member of the First Christian Church in Stinnett. She married Jack Olan Lasater on April 19, 1935, in Borger and attended West Texas College. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; a brother, Willie Gay; four sisters, Iola Hazelwood, Helen Womble, Dale Womble and Obera Darnell; and a grandson, Cody Wright. Survivors include a son, Jack "Butch" Lasater and wife, Mary Ann, of Spearman; a daughter, Gayle Wright and husband, Clarence, of Stinnett; five grandchildren, Gina Stills and Laci Murray, both of Amarillo, Mendy Riggins of Lubbock, Cass Lasater of Spearman and Leia Atwood of Stinnett; and six great- grandchildren. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- James William "Johnny Bill" Hermesmeyer CLARENDON - James William "Johnny Bill" Hermesmeyer, 77, died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2005, in Amarillo. Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today in Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Groom. Mass of the Resurrection will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the church with the Rev. Jose Palathara officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Groom by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon. Mr. Hermesmeyer was one of seven children born to Frank and Nell Ruyle Hermesmeyer. He grew up loving the great outdoors on the Hermesmeyer Brothers Ranch at Jericho. He was an expert horseman, breaking and training horses at a young age. He worked along with his brother, Hunk, helping local ranchers round up and ship cattle when he was young. He enjoyed sports, especially football, which he played in high school. He served in the U.S. Army in the signal corps at Fort Gordon, Ga., during the Korean conflict. He returned home to Jericho to operate the ranch, and also worked for Montie Johnson and Les Darcy. He was active in community services and served as a director of the Clarendon Outdoor Entertainment Association since 1964. He was a member of Southwest Cattle Raisers Association for many years. He married Eva Lee Farr on June 21, 1968. Johnny Bill will always be in the heart of his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother; and two sisters. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Cindy Foster and husband, Brett, of Borger; a son, Shawn Hermesmeyer of Borger; six grandchildren, Courtney, Crystal, Brody, Brady, Chad and Mickey; a brother, Phillip Hermesmeyer and wife, Jerry, of Jericho; two sisters, Pauline Kline of Panhandle and Joan Gulde of Amarillo; a nephew that they raised, Bill Hermesmeyer and wife, Carolyn, of Panhandle; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was regional manager for Key Energy and moved to Gordonville, near Lake Texhoma, after retiring in 1998. Mrs. Gaut taught elementary, junior high and high school, served as registrar, counselor, reading specialist and later moved to the central office as elementary education coordinator. She finished her educational career as assistant superintendent for instruction K-12 in the Pampa Independent School District from 1968 to 1981. Survivors include a son, William P.
