Memorial services will be at 1:30 p.m. today in The Cottages at Quail Creek with the Rev. Jerry Coffman officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 S. Bell St. Betty was born June 14, 1925, to Gladys and Ray Davidson in Alvin. She traveled the world with her husband, Henry Bernhardt Dunfrund, while he served in the U.S. Army. Survivors include a son, Frank L. Dunfrund; two daughters, Sharon Dunfrund and Fran Abbott; two brothers, Ray Davidson and Charles William Davidson; a sister, Margaret Lucille Hopkins; a sister-in-law, Margaret Davidson; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Stockdale, 87, of Amarillo died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2005. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd., with the Rev. Rick Mathis officiating. Private burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Forrest was born Jan. 3, 1918, in Burlington, Iowa, to Sidney Wade and Anna Rolf Stockdale. He married Mary Lou Yaggy on Sept. 7, 1946, in Wichita, Kan. He served in the Naval Reserve before serving with the U.S. Army during World War II. During WWII, he served in the Pacific Theater on the islands of Hawaii, Angar and Peleliu. After WWII, he enrolled at the University of Iowa and graduated with a degree in business in 1949. They then moved to Raton, N.M., and later to Amarillo in 1953 where he was a territory manager for Lennox Industries. Shortly afterward, he formed Amarillo Air Conditioning and Sheet Metal Inc. He enjoyed more than a 50-year association with Lennox as an independent Lennox dealer. Memberships included West Amarillo Christian Church, Bivins Board Foundation, Tascosa Kiwanis Club, AMBUCS, Llano Cemetery Board, Amarillo Chamber of Commerce, and Better Business Bureau. He coached Kids Inc. sports and Y- Baseball. Mrs. Stonecipher was born Dec. 27, 1920, in Hedley to Dale T. and Rosie Lee Cooper. She was a longtime cancer survivor. Mrs. Stonecipher was a homemaker and baby sitter and was a resident of the Talmage for several years. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; and a sister. Survivors include two sisters, Jean Gaither of Amarillo and Wanda Frost of Roswell, N.M.; and numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery by Brooks Funeral Directors of Canyon. Gloria Crump was born Sept. 11, 1926, in Swisher County to Lawrence and Iris Hollabaugh Avent. She was a longtime community volunteer serving the Canyon Senior Citizens, Chamber of Commerce, Canyon Florist and Bridal, Panhandle Plains Historical Museum and Canyon Cares. Gloria was a member of First Baptist Church of Canyon and was loved by everyone she met. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Crump, in August 1973. Survivors include a daughter, Ginger Crump of Canyon; a brother, David Gazzaway of Amarillo; two sisters, Shirley Lepper of Jefferson City, Mo., and Linda Schickedanz of Weatherford. Arrangements are by Holley Funeral Home of Canyon. Ms. Kirchner was born Aug. 11, 1945, in Grand Island, Neb., to Donald Dean Kirchner and Norma Jean Barney Kirchner. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in West Park Cemetery in Hereford. A Celebration of Life service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in First United Methodist Church in Hereford with the Rev. Darren Skinner officiating. Arrangements are by Parkside Chapel Funeral Home of Hereford. Mrs. Bradley was born June 19, 1921, in Muskogee, Okla., the daughter of George and Burmah Spear. She graduated from Texas Tech University with a teaching degree. She married Joe Bradley in 1946 in Columbus. They moved to Hereford in 1964. Mrs. Bradley taught Homemaking for more than 35 years and taught at Stanton Jr. High from 1966 to 1983. Mrs. Bradley was a member of First United Methodist Church, the Nellie Slaton Circle, the Ford Community Extension Club, the P.E.O. Club, a member of Delta Kappa Gamma and a Texas Tech Alumni supporter. She was voted "Mother of the Year" in 2000, was the Ford Community Extension "Woman of the Year" in 1991 and received the Friend of 4-H award in 1990. She was preceded in death by her husband and a brother. Survivors include three daughters, Susan Hicks and husband, Mark, Melinda Bridge and husband, Bill, all of Hereford, and Ann McClarty and husband, Bill, of Amarillo; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Mr. Hand was born June 11, 1923, in Haskell County. He married Susie J. Lesher on May 16, 1947, in Pampa. He was a district well tester for Northern Natural Gas/Enron from 1953 to 1985, when he retired. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Hansford Lodge No. 1040 AF&AM. He was preceded in death by his wife in 2002; and his parents, John and Mattie Fisher Hand. Mr. Ladehoff, formerly of Amarillo, worked as an elevator builder and service technician. Maynard LOS ANGELES - Clarence J. Maynard, 74, died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2005, in Lubbock, Texas. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in University Church of Christ in Canyon, Texas. Mr. Maynard graduated from West Texas State College High School in Canyon where he was president of the class for three years. He owned and operated the Royal Coin Shop in Amarillo from 1955-1960 where he displayed his oil paintings and portraits and he later had a business in Los Angeles. Survivors include his wife, Vicki; three children, Jim Maynard, Nancy McLaren of Phoenix and Debbie Skidmore of Lubbock; two stepsons, William and Robert Hill of California; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Peggy Crouch of Lubbock and Rachael Cook of Gruver, Texas; and two brothers, Hollis of Lubbock and Ben of Tucson, Ariz. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Susan Lynn McCarty CLARKSVILLE, IND. - Susan Lynn McCarty, 54, died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2005. Mrs. Crawford was born June 14, 1935, in Patrick, Ark., to Noah Craft and Ethel Reed Craft, on Flag Day, which Maggie was very proud of. She married Rolla F. Crawford on Jan. 29, 1951, in Tahlequah, Okla. Survivors include her husband; a son, David Crawford of Boise City; two daughters, Donna Stubblefield of Boise City and Beverly Cobo of Denver; two brothers, Harley Craft and Elmer Craft, both of Virginia; two sisters, Dorothy Stein of Michigan and Pearl Martin of Van Buren, Ark.; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. The son of Charlene Jaquez and Juan O. Martinez, Mr. Martinez was born Jan. 20, 1951, in Post, Texas. He was married to Angie Evans for 28 years and the Martinez family lived in the Texas and Oklahoma panhandle area where Mr. Martinez worked as a heavy equipment operator and in feedlots.
