"Buck" McQueen Eugene B. "Buck" McQueen, 92, of Amarillo died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2005. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road, with Dr. Charlie Jones of Hollywood Road Community Church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. McQueen was born Oct. 17, 1913. He moved to Amarillo in 1936 from Hall County. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was retired from the Attebury Elevator Co. as a supervisor. He was a member of Second Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mildred McQueen. Survivors include his wife, Ann; a son, Stanley McQueen and wife, Sue Jane, of Utah; two stepdaughters, Judy L. "Bunny" Sadler Bernice L. "Bunny" Sadler, 89, of Amarillo died Monday, Nov. 14, 2005. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Llano Cemetery with the Rev. Renae Haiduk of Polk Street United Methodist Church officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mrs. Sadler was born in Fries, Va. She graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School in Kingsport, Tenn. She was a Registered Nurse at Roper Hospital in Charleston, S.C., and during World War II, she worked at Garfield Hospital in Washington, D.C. She married Dr. Charles B. Sadler in Spartenburg, S.C. in September 1941. She was a lifetime member of Panhandle Medical Auxiliary. She was also a member of the 50/50 Sunday school class at Polk Street United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2002; four sisters; and three brothers. Survivors include a daughter, Janine Mallett of Amarillo; two sons, Bruce Sadler of Amarillo and Don Sadler of San Francisco; two sisters, Carrie Jones of Boca Raton, Fla., and Aleen Steadman of Kingsport, Tenn.; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Randy was born Aug. 13, 1949, in Borger and spent his school years in Borger and Amarillo. He was a graduate of New Hampshire college in Maine. He served in the U.S. Navy for 29 years retiring as a Commander in 1996. He married Lucille Gower on April 20, 1974, in Athens, Greece. They returned Amarillo from Maine in 1989. He worked as a personal assistant for Dr. Howard Batson at First Baptist Church. He worked as a computer teacher at AACAL before moving on to Region 16. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd., with the Rev. Clifton Mann, Rector at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, officiating. Margaret Lipscomb Stone Wilson, known by her many dear friends as "Margo" and by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as "Pretty Mama," died on Nov. 16, 2005, at home with her family around her. Margo was born Aug. 9, 1917, in Beaumont. Her identical twin sister, Arledge, preceded her in death. Margo attended the University of Texas at Austin where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority and was a Bluebonnet Belle. While at the University, Margo met and married Benjamin Hicks Stone Jr. who became a prominent Amarillo attorney. They shared 40 rich years together until his death in 1978. She is survived by their four daughters. In 1979, Margo married Robert Alexander Wilson, a founding partner of the Underwood Law Firm. Margo was often heard to say that she was blessed with two wonderful husbands. Bob and Margo spent several lovely years together traveling and seeing the world until Bob's death in 1984. Margo devoted her time to caring for her four daughters, service to St. Andrew's Episcopal Church and tending to her relationships with her many friends. She was one of the earliest members of the Junior League of Amarillo and fondly recalled serving tea in the league tea room. Margo loved to read, play bridge and entertain friends at home and, in the summers, at the Palo Duro Club. Her kind and thoughtful heart could always be seen in her beautiful smile, and heard in her engaging laughter. She always had a kind word for her friends, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Margo's generosity to her family and to her community is legendary. She was a true lady, beautiful always, leaving her legacy to her grandchildren and to her great- grandchildren. She doted on them, and although she will be missed, her kind spirit and gentle heart will never be forgotten. She lives on in happy memories of wonderful times and shared laughter. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mr. Weathers was born Nov. 15, 1933, in Snyder to Alfred W. and Leona Viola Weathers. He graduated from Snyder High School in 1951. He attended the University of Texas where he met his wife, Georgia Lee Johnson. They married in Little River in 1954. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea. Mr. Weathers worked for Amarillo Hardware Co., and retired after 30 years as Vice President of Wholesale Appliance Division in 1987. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Georgia Weathers; a son, Richard W. Iris met George Wilkinson when she was about 10 years old and later married him on June 19, 1927. Burial will be in Rest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Hereford Heritage Funeral Home. Neal Young was born June 5, 1921, in Sayre, Okla., to James and Pearl Young. He moved to Deaf Smith County with his family in the early 1930s. Neal graduated from Hereford High School in 1939. He worked with his Dad as a carpenter in his early life. He married Betty Massey on Oct. 5, 1946, in Hereford. Neal served in the Navy as a Seabee and was a veteran of World War II. He also served in the Army and was a veteran of the Korean conflict. Neal served as Deputy Sheriff for Deaf Smith County in the early 1950s. He owned and operated Neal Young Trucking Company for many years. Mr. Young was a member of the American Legion and was active in the Hereford Senior Citizens Center. He loved model trains and especially enjoyed setting up the train display at the Festival of Trees. He was a member of First Baptist Church and First Presbyterian Church. In 1978, Neal moved to Levelland where he owned a business. He retired and moved back to Hereford in 1991. He was preceded in death by his parents, James E and Pearl Young; and a brother, Edward Young. Survivors include a son, James N. Young Jr. and wife, Mary, of Oklahoma City; a daughter, Dr. Cathy Malouf and husband, Tony, of Levelland; a sister, Frances Euler of Friona; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two nieces; and a nephew.
