Killham Dale E. Killham 46, of Amarillo died Sunday, Nov. 20, 2005. The family will hold services at a later date. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Mr. Killham was born Nov. 26, 1958, in Lincoln, Neb. He worked in construction. Survivors include a daughter, Ashley Killham of Denver; a son, Joshua Killham of Oklahoma; two brothers, Ira Killham, and Timothy Killham, both of Amarillo; and a sister, Tamala Killham of Amarillo. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tu Tat Tu Tat, 49, of Amarillo died Sunday, Nov. 20, 2005. Coulter St. Mrs. Chavez was born Aug. 22, 1945, in Bedford, Mass. On this day the world lost a wonderful mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten. Mrs. Chavez was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Glennon. Survivors include her husband, Jose Luis Rios Chavez of Villa Union Durango, Mexico; three daughters, Angela Murillo and Victoria Apodaca, both of Amarillo, and Shonna Fraska of Ozark, Ark.; a son, Phillip Williams Jr. of Ozark; her father, Richard Buddington and wife, Nancy, of Long Barn, Calif.; and 10 grandchildren. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cody Ray Hobbs Cody Ray Hobbs, 40, died Sunday, Nov. 20, 2005. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Southlawn Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Jerad Middaugh officiating. Arrangements are by Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive. Cody was born Aug. 20, 1965, in Amarillo and was raised in Vega and Amarillo. He was a graduate of River Road High School. He married Karen Daniels on July 7, 1984, in Amarillo. He was project manager for Toro in the irrigation division. He worked in the irrigation industry for 25 years. He lived in Southlake for 18 years, returning to Amarillo in 2004. Cody loved his family, friends, riding bulls, hunting, and fishing. He also loved his African gray parrot - Mollie and his three "Grand-Pups," Punkin, Charlie and Putter. Survivors include his wife, Karen of Amarillo; one daughter, Kristen Renee' Hobbs of Amarillo; a son, Kyle Ray Hobbs of Amarillo; his parents, Bill and Sharon Hobbs of Amarillo; a sister, Catherine Hobbs of Amarillo; a brother, Patrick Cliff Hobbs of Southlake; his grandmother, Beth Price of Amarillo; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ray and Joyce Daniels of Amarillo, Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home today. Bell St. Bill was born June 22, 1931, in Faxon, Okla., to Henry and Faye Johnson. While in high school, the family moved to the Dexter, N.M., area where his lifelong love of farming began. Bill graduated from Abilene Christian University in 1953 and served as a member of its Board of Trustees from 1974. After serving two years in the military, he returned to Abilene to teach and coach, where he met and married Sue Newman of Dallas in 1956. He worked with the University Church of Christ as Educational Director and Campus Minister and then became Director of Alumni for the University. Purchasing a Gibson Discount Store franchise brought the family to Amarillo by way of Plainview in the 1960s. His lifelong desire to serve others involved him in many worthy endeavors. While leading a company to finance church building programs, he served Central Church of Christ as a teacher, mentor to young families and Elder for more than 30 years. His zeal for foreign missions was a catalyst in forming a South American missions ministry sending mission teams to the great cities of South America. Bill returned to his love of farming, operating an alfalfa farm and forming the Milagro Dairy Partnership in the Clovis area. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother. Survivors include his wife; two sons, John Johnson and wife, Tricia, of Phoenix and Jim Johnson and wife, Faye, of Clovis, N.M.; two daughters, Janna Hill and husband, Mark, of Dayton, Ohio, and Jennifer Land and husband, Brad, of Keller; two sisters LaNell Sweet of Roswell, N.M., and Joyce Bennett and husband, Dave of Richland, Wash.; and 10 beloved grandchildren. Wylie Hall DUMAS - Nema M. Wylie Hall, 83, died Saturday, Nov. 19, 2005. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Eunice, N.M. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Mrs. Hall was born Jan. 6, 1922, in Durant, Okla., to Worlie and Jessie Cook Wylie. She attended schools in Durant, Boswell, Okla., and Lakewest, Okla. She received her GED certificate in May 1969. She married Joe L. Hall on Dec. 28, 1936, in Hugo, Okla. Nema was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Eunice, where she taught Sunday school in the children's and adult departments, served as president of the Women Missionary Group, served as a G.A. and R.A. leader, served as church hostess, was secretary of the senior adult department and was a member of the Senior Adult Young at Heart Group. She was a charter member of the Eula Hardison Grandmother's Club, served as a Pink Lady at Eunice Hospital and served as bookkeeper for the Junior Rodeo Association. She was a member of the Eunice Senior Citizens and was selected as Senior Citizen of the Week in March 1995. She was named as one of the Outstanding Women of Lea County in September 1995. Nema was appointed to Eunice City Council in September 1975 and served 1812 years. During her service, she served on the library, cemetery, water system and fire department boards. Nema also served a two-year term on the New Mexico State Municipal League of District VI. She was preceded in death by her husband on Aug. 12, 1994; her parents; five brothers, Brian Wylie, J.W. Wylie, Woodrow Wylie, Harold Wylie and Worlie Wylie Jr.; and a sister, Bessie Cramer. Burial will be in Northlawn Memorial Gardens with graveside rites performed by Dumas American Legion Post 224. Mr. Frye was born April 24, 1925, in Wetumka, Okla. He married Margaret Chastain on June 25, 1943, in Oklahoma. He was a Dumas resident for 39 years and a technician for Natural Gas for 35 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II from 1943-1945 in Japan- Okinawa. He was a member of VFW Post No. 9022 in Dumas. He was preceded in death by a son, Gerald Ray Frye; and a grandson, Shane Hess. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. today in Havenbrook Funeral Home Chapel in Norman. Roy died quickly in his home with his beloved wife at his side. He leaves behind multitudes of friends and his precious family. Roy was born April 28, 1950, in Altus, and was the third of five children. He grew up in Sunray, Texas, and graduated from Sanford Fritch High School in 1968. He moved to Oklahoma in 1972 where he began his career as an electrical contractor, oilman, and most recently as a custom home builder. He will be remembered for his extraordinary generosity, deep thinking, strong opinions, and sage advice. His family was most important to him and he always made special efforts to remain in contact. He was a loving husband, son, brother, father and grandfather, but he never wanted to grow old; he was too busy. He was preceded in death by his father, John Noble and his brother, Bob Noble.
