Thompson PERRYTON - Celestine C. Thompson, 75, died Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2005. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Church of Christ with Max Gunn and Mikel Petersen officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton. Mrs. Thompson was born Aug. 5, 1930, in Love County, Okla. She had lived in Perryton since 1975, moving from Spearman. She married Thomas L. Thompson on Sept. 6, 1947, in Perryton. She was librarian at Perry Memorial Library from Jan. 1, 1977, until Dec. 31, 2001. She was a great mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Perryton. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1969; her parents, Garry L. and Bessie Taylor Jackson; a grandson, Michael Gunn, in 1996; three brothers; and two sisters. Survivors include two daughters, Jeanne Gunn and husband, Max, of Childress and Sharon Bussler and husband, Earl, of LaCenter, Wash.; a brother, Bill Jackson of Hollis, Okla.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to the Michael Gunn Scholarship Fund, Opportunity Plan, P.O. Box 1035, Canyon, TX 79015 or a favorite charity. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- George Truit Perryman PLAINVIEW - George Truit Perryman, 70, died Monday, Dec. 12, 2005, in Amarillo. Services will be at 2 p.m. Dec. 22 in Garland Street Church of Christ with Charlie Wharton of Pierre Church of Christ in Pierre, S.D., officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Cemetery by Bartley Funeral Home. Mr. Perryman was born March 9, 1935, in Muskogee, Okla., to Charlie and Myrtle Perryman. He served in the Army for 21 years in Korea and Vietnam, received two Purple Hearts and served as a Texas Ranger in San Antonio and Houston. Survivors include his wife, Grace; two daughters, Jeanie Wharton of Pierre and Nancy Jane Cobb of Odessa; two brothers, Leonard Perryman of Grand Prairie and Terry Wayne Strong of Higley, Ariz.; three sisters, Delight Farmer of Wolfforth, Barbara Dugan of Pasadena and Tenna Simmons of Spring; five grandchildren; and a great-grandson. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery by Warford-Walker Mortuary, 509 N. Hughes St. in Amarillo. Patricia Ann Sanders was born July 20, 1962, in Dimmitt. She moved to St. Louis in 1987. She was a customer service representative at Chesterfield Mall in St. Louis. She married L.B. Barnes on July 22, 1990. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother; a daughter; and a son. Survivors include her husband; a son, Patrick D. Mr. Moran was born July 16, 1926, in Caddo, Okla. He was an Army veteran of World War II and an operator for Phillips Petroleum Co. Born May 27, 1925, outside of Athens, she was one of nine children born to Edward Kirby Boyles and Bertha May Green Voyles. She married Morris McCullin on March 10, 1940, and they had five children together. Survivors include three children, Jerry D. McCullin of Texas City, Dennis R. McCullin of Michigan and Debra K.
