Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Martin, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Plymouth Cemetery in Samnorwood by Wright Funeral Directors of Shamrock. Mr. Thompson was born Feb. 8, 1929, in Wellington to Luther Tip and Mamie Johnson Thompson. He married Arlene Pullman on June 24, 1949, in Samnorwood. Survivors include his wife; four sons, Walter Leroy Pullum of Amarillo, Larry Owen Thompson of Pampa, Gary Lynn Thompson of Reydon, Okla., and Michael Leroy Thompson of Elk City, Okla.; two sisters, LaFerne Ball of Amarillo and Mary Sue Adams of Spearman; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Amarillo Alic James Alic Alic James Alic, infant son of Adau Aguir and James Alic, died Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2005. Van Doran, 99, of Lake Tanglewood died Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2005. Memorial services will be at 3:30 p.m. today in Lake Tanglewood Community Church with the Rev. Mrs. Van Doran was born in Kansas City, Mo. She lived in Amarillo since 1939. She married L.E. "Van" Van Doran in 1949 in Amarillo. Mrs. Van Doran was a homemaker and a charter member of Lake Tanglewood Community Church. She had been active in arts and crafts at Lake Tanglewood. She was preceded in death by her husband, L.E. "Van" Van Doran, on Dec. 25, 2000. Survivors include two daughters, Janette Westfall of Amarillo and Julie Sitton of Baton Rouge, La.; six grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Her last thoughts were, "To each of you I wish peace, joy and love. Death is the end of nothing. Our souls go on and I will be here with each of you in your heart. Margaret Mussman was born Nov. 23, 1932, on the homeplace north of Guymon. She married Harry Barber on Jan. 13, 1951. Mr. Worton was born July 24, 1927, in Mayfield, Kan., to Ollie and Lottie Kirkwood Worton. He married Maxine Parks on March 9, 1944; he married Linda Rowlett on Nov. 24, 1989. Arrangements are by Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home of McKinney. David Lawrence Jones passed away peacefully on Dec. 21, 2005, after a long struggle with Alzheimer's disease. He was born July 22, 1942, in Amarillo to Lloyd Jones and Margaret Gikas. He graduated from Pampa High School in 1960 and from West Texas State University (now known as West Texas A&M University at Canyon) in 1970. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marlena Sue Greene Jones; and two uncles, Ted and Chris Gikas. Survivors include a daughter, Patricia A. Jones; his mother and stepfather, Margaret and Dr. BJ Herrin; and two half-sisters, Missy Ashley and Sylvia Snodgrass.
