Memorial services will be at 6 p.m. today in Parkway Kingdom Hall, 2900 E. Interstate 40, with Bob Rogers, an elder of the Jehovah's Witnesses, officiating. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Llano Cemetery with Kirk Campbell officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mr. Laws was born Feb. 9, 1981, in Amarillo to Larry and Linda Laws. He was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and active in the Central Terrace Congregation. He worked along with the Regional Building Committee building new Kingdom Halls in the Texas and New Mexico region. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Charlotte Regal. Survivors include his parents, Larry and Linda Laws; a sister, Libbie Lindsey and husband, Richard, of Amarillo; his grandparents, John and D'Ann Laws of Amarillo; his grandfather, Ed Regal of Amarillo; a niece and nephew, Paige and Nathan; and hundreds of loving friends. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- LeAnn Snead Edmondson LeAnn Snead Edmondson, 49, of Amarillo died Friday, Dec. 30, 2005. She worked as a hotel desk clerk. She was member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church. Jackson, 93, of Amarillo died Saturday, Dec. 24, 2005, in Albuquerque, N.M. Wake services will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday in Warford-Walker Mortuary Chapel, 509 N. Hughes St., with the Rev. Phillip Randall, pastor of Johnson Chapel A.M.E. Church, officiating. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum East. Mrs. Jackson was born July 18, 1912, in Roswell, N.M. She attended and graduated from the public schools of Albuquerque. She also attended Spellman University in Atlanta. She married James P. Jackson on July 22, 1941, in Albuquerque. He preceded her in death on Feb. 2, 1995. She had been a resident of Amarillo for 58 years. She retired from the Amarillo Independent School District as a secretary at Carver High School. She was a member of Johnson Chapel A.M.E. Church for more than five years, serving as bulletin secretary, stewardess and on the missionary society. Survivors include a brother, Theodore McDonald of Portland, Ore.; three sisters, Myrtle Phillips and husband, Rubin, and Athalia Jones, all of Albuquerque, and Bernice Slaughter of Portland; a sister-in-law, Emerald McDonald of Portland and several nieces and nephews. Survivors include his wife, Patsy Flores; six sons, Joel Estrada, Carlos Amador, Danny Amador, Joe Angel Estrada, Silverio Amador and Anthony R. Mr. Cummins was born Aug. 6, 1925, in Hollis, Okla. He married Jean Teague on June 25, 1945, in Hollis. Vern was an electrician for Diamond Shamrock and retired in 1988 after 35 years. He had lived in Dumas since September 1950. He served in the Navy during World War II from 1943 to 1945. He was a longtime member of Dumas VFW Post 9022. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Dumas. Mrs. Parks was born Dec. 8, 1924, on the family farm in Hutchinson County. She was a former school teacher for Morse ISD and was a member of First Christian Church in Stinnett. She played the organ at church. She married H.B. Parks on Oct. 24, 1945, in Amarillo. He preceded her in death on Dec. 15, 1991. She had a porcelain bisque business, loved to china paint and loved her children and grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her father, Alva Henderson in 1945; her mother, Bessie Henderson in 1984; and two brothers, Earl Henderson in 1983 and Deryl Henderson in 1992. Mr. Garcia was born Oct. 23, 1926, in San Benito. He was a truck driver most of his life. He was a member of Immaculate Conception of Mary Catholic Church, a contributor of Basilica of San Juan. After his retirement, he became a security guard for Cargill, and he has been completely retired since 1995. He was preceded in death by his wife, Domitila; two brothers, Roberto Garcia and Rudolfo Garcia Jr.; and a daughter, Rachael Garcia. He married Marion Whitten on June 18, 1948, in Pampa. She preceded him in death on March 6, 1985. He later married Virginia Ferguson on Oct. 3, 1987, in Pampa. He was a member of Central Baptist Church and the Pampa Masonic Lodge No. 966 AF & AM. He was a foreman at Cabot Corporation/IRI for 38 years, retiring in 1983. He was a veteran of the Army, serving during World War II. He was also preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters. Eleanor was a very talented person with skills in art, calligraphy, writing, singing and piano. She had a deep, heartfelt faith and knew God's word forward and backward. She was easy to love and was a constant encouragement to those around her whether they be family and friends or someone she just met. She was preceded in death by her father, James Robert Sanderson.
