Services will be at 3 p.m. today in First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery by Seigler Funeral Home. Mr. Hampton was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. He was a loving and dedicated family man. Survivors include his wife, Clemmie; a son, Michael Hampton of Clovis, N.M.; three daughters, Trisha Kimble and Debra Hampton, both of Dallas, and Glenda Parker of Clovis; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Nolan United Methodist Church with the Rev. Richard Petree and the Rev. Tom Thomson officiating. Burial will be in Slater's Chapel Cemetery by McCoy Funeral Home of Sweetwater. Mr. Simmons was born Aug. 29, 1980, in Sweetwater. He proudly served his country as a combat engineer in the Army, serving in Iraq and was stationed in Germany. Survivors include a son, Graycen Lee Daniel Wacker of Savoy, Ill.; his parents, Stanley and Gail Simmons of Nolan; a sister, Amanda Chance of Crowley; and his grandparents, Elbert and Opal Simmons of Nolan and Delene Tyler of Quitaque. A celebration of her life will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15, at the home of Heidi Sherrill Garrison, 276 Del Mar Court, San Luis Obispo. Mrs. Underwood was born in Paris and lived in Amarillo, Texas, and Estes Park, Colo., before settling in Avila Beach. Her joie de vivre and indomitable spirit will be remembered by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed. Survivors include a brother, Claude Huve of Paris, and many friends.
