Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Robertson Funeral Directors Chapel of Memories in Clarendon with the Rev. Bob Thomas, Odyssey HealthCare chaplain, officiating. Burial will be in Rowe Cemetery in Hedley. Mr. Roland was born Dec. 23, 1917, in Whitesboro to James Wesley Roland and Velma Lee Butcher Roland. He married Jessie Mae Farmer on May 24, 1941, in Durant, Okla. Bob worked for many years as rancher for three ranches. He was a resident of Hedley and Donley County most of his life. He was a member of the Hedley Lions Club and a member of Church of Christ in Hedley. He was preceded in death by his wife on Sept. 1, 2002. Survivors include a son, Bob Roland and wife, Pat, of Amarillo; a sister, Ethel Favor of Amarillo; eight nieces and nephews; and a granddog, Sadie Mae. Mrs. Rascoe worked several jobs through her life with the last being with Intrepid USA Home Healthcare Services. She enjoyed motorcycle riding with her husband, volunteer service work in the local women's county jail and served on various committees and boards, including The Old Corral Board at 1301 S.
