Services will be at 1 p.m. today in First United Methodist Church in Fritch with the Rev. Charles Johnson, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in The Garden of Love in Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Mrs. Adams was born Nov. 21, 1904, in Indian Territory. She was a home economics teacher in SISD. Survivors include a son, John Adams of Tomball; two daughters, Ruth Carleton of Canyon and Donna Lee Wyatt of Borger; a brother, Hal Hall of Lake St. Louis, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great- grandchildren. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sherry Anne Rea BORGER - Sherry Anne Rea, 51, died Friday, January 13, 2006, in Houston. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Church of the Nazarene with Terry Porter, pastor, officiating. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Austin Memorial Park in Austin. Arrangements are by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Mrs. Rea was born Jan. 17, 1954, in Austin. She was a Borger resident for 32 years. She was a senior accounting clerk for Chevron-Phillips and was a member of First Church of The Nazarene. She was church treasurer and active in all church activities. She married Steve Rea on March 9, 1974, in Austin. Survivors include her husband, Steve Rea; a son, Shawn Rea and wife Kristy of Bethany, Okla.; a daughter, Stephanie Rea of Manor; her mother, Robbie Schneider of Manor; three brothers, Dale Schneider of Austin, Wane Schneider and Mark Schneider, both of Manor; and two sisters, Bonnie Miller of Clovis, N.M., and Jeannie Weiss of Leighton, Pa. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ralph Hutto Danzey PERRYTON - Ralph Hutto Danzey, 88, died Sunday, Jan. 15, 2006. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in First United Methodist Church with Dr. Ed Williamson and Doyle Warren officiating. The body will be donated to Texas Tech University School of Medicine. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton. Mr. Danzey as born July 29, 1917, in Abbeville, Ala. He had lived in Perryton since 1937. He married Lillian Williams on Oct. 17, 1954. She preceded him in death on Jan. 11, 1992. He was self-employed and owned the Army surplus store for several years. He was a veteran of the Merchant Marine. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Baron and Molly Hutto Danzey. Survivors include two daughters, Colette Matthews of Perryton and Janette Parkin of Casa Grande, Ariz.; two sons, Curt Warren of Canadian and Kenny Warren of Maberley, Mo.; a grandson, Baron Matthews of Jackson, Miss.; a granddaughter, Suzette Matthews of Lubbock; seven other grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Ates Jessie M. Ates, 78, of Amarillo died Sunday, Jan. 15, 2006. Ates in 1944, and they moved to Amarillo in 1951. She worked as a nurse at St. Anthony's Hospital and was retired after 34 years. Survivors include a daughter, Stella Glasco of Amarillo; two brothers, Thasus Thompson of Denver and Francis Thompson of Tinton Falls, N.J.; a sister, Doris J. She worked in the health care profession as an operating room technician with High Plains Baptist and Northwest Texas Hospital for more than 35 years. Arrangements are by Jones Family Funeral Home of Elgin. Fred Henry Craddock at the age of 76 passed away Saturday, Jan. 14, 2006, in Austin with his daughters, Susan and Catrina, by his side. He was a beloved dad, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend to many. Fred was born Dec. 25, 1930, in Strawn and was the son of John Robert Craddock and Jennie Magesta Anderson. He attended school in Cisco and Dallas and graduated from Forrest High School in 1948. He retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone and was a union advocate. Fred will be remembered for his sense of humor and his ability to make people laugh. He always lived life to the fullest. He was a sports enthusiast and an avid Longhorn fan. Fred was preceded in death by his brother, William Lonnie Cutberth. Survivors include two brothers, Robert A. Craddock of Strawn and Harlan Boyne of California; two sisters, Annette C. Harris of Baytown and Shirley Pierce of Kaufman; children, Susan Cross Son of Shamrock, Mark Craddock of Grand Prairie, Kelli Freeman of Cedar Hill, Christina Kingsbury and Catrina Castaneda, both of Bastrop; grandchildren, Heather Cross Banks of Fort Worth, Christopher Cross of Amarillo, Adam and Michael Freeman of Cedar Hill, and five granddaughters of Bastrop; a great-grandson, Zarryn Blake Cross of Amarillo; numerous nieces and nephews; and countless friends. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Perry Gene Dearing ARLINGTON - Perry Gene Dearing, 75, formerly of Amarillo, died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2006. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Colleyville. Burial will be in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Mr. Dearing was born to Sam and Mae Dearing on June 23, 1930, in Wellington, where he attended school, class of '49. He moved to Amarillo in 1950 and later entered the Army, serving in occupied Germany. After his discharge in 1954, he worked for Graham Plow Inc. for 14 years before working for Bell Helicopter Textron. He retired in 2002, after 33 years of service. He was a life member of the VFW, past Post Commander Post 1475 and past District 9 Commander, Amarillo. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 731 of Amarillo, a Knights Templer and charter member. He was 32nd Degree Mason of the Lubbock Scottish Rite. He attended Fielder Baptist Church in Arlington. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Marcie; a son, Rob Dearing and wife Brandi of Arlington; two daughters, Adrienne Almanza and husband Manuel and Rebecca Goad Allen and husband Rick, all of Amarillo; six grandchildren, Matt Cole and wife Debbie of San Diego, Carrie Jean Cole of Irving, Vanessa Diaz of Amarillo and Noah, Abby and Avery Dearing, all of Arlington; a great-grandson, Austin Cole of San Diego; and a brother, Sam Dearing and wife Sheri of Kirtland, N.M. Woolard and Mary Johnnie Wilkinson Woolard. She married Stephen Charles Godfrey, and later married Stephen D. Moore on July 20, 1968.
