Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd. James was born Sept. 3, 1945, in Hawthorne, Nev., to Wilfred and Inez Britten. He married Carolyn on June 1, 1968, in Amarillo. James was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. James worked in the Safety Department at Pantex. He was a member of Bolton Street Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a son, Anthony Wayne Britten. James is survived by his wife, Carolyn; a son, Richard Brittten of Amarillo; a daughter, Danyal Jones and husband Chris of Amarillo; a grandson, Xaviar Jones of Amarillo; and a brother, Charles Britten and wife Janetta of Alto, N.M. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Donna Stone Eason Donna Stone Eason, 48, of Amarillo died Sunday, Jan. 22, 2006. Donna was born Aug. 8, 1957, in Lubbock and lived in Amarillo most of her life. She was a 1975 graduate of Caprock High School. She married Harold Eason in 2003 in Amarillo. She worked for the city of Amarillo in the Parks and Recreation Department. Donna was an active supporter of Cal Farley's Boys Ranch and Girls Town. She was a loving wife, daughter, grandmother and sister. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Richardson; her father, Norman Stone; and a grandson, James Gabriel Rivers. Survivors include her husband, Harold Eason; two daughters, Amber Michie and Jemie Eason, both of Amarillo; a son, Dustin Rhoades of Amarillo; her mother, Lucy Stone of Clinton, Okla.; a sister, Debbie Stone of Amarillo; and three granddaughters. Mr. Parks was born in Amarillo and worked as an engineer for 36 years for the Chevrolet Motor Division. Although he was accomplished in technical pursuits, he was also deeply interested in the humanities. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Brooke; two children, Charles Parks and Gretchen Parks; a stepson, Kelly Biggs; three grandchildren; his mother, Irene Parks; a sister, Janis Parks Chescheir; and a brother, R.D. Georgia St. Mrs. Wagner was born in Alamosa, Colo. She married Wilbur Wagner at Fort Logan, Colo., in 1948. She was an education and pastoral secretary at First Baptist Church from March 22, 1965, to Jan. 31, 1987. Mrs. Wagner was an accomplished pianist. She was a member of the Women's Gideons Group and the Adult 8 /Gleason Sunday school class of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilber Wagner, on Oct. 25, 2000. Mrs. Cook worked for Marie Foundation for 11 years, and worked for the Pampa Regional Medical Center for 10 years, retiring Dec. 21, 1990. Cooper PERRYTON - James E. Cooper, 71, died Monday, Jan. 23, 2006. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in First United Methodist Church with Dr. Ed Williamson and the Rev. Paul Baskin officiating. Burial will be in Ochiltree Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton. Mr. Cooper was born May 18, 1934, in Shawnee, Okla. He married Betty Porter on March 14, 1959, in Monahans. After high school, he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. He lived in Perryton since 1969, moving from Monahans. He was an oil field superintendent. Jim's true loves in life were first his Lord and savior, Jesus Christ, his wife, Betty, all his children and grandchildren, his loving family and dear friends and all types of sports, especially involving his beloved Sooners. A little league baseball and flag football coach as well as junior track coach, he was always there for his children and their friends. He will be dearly missed and daily loved. He was preceded in death by his parents, A.G. and Esther May Cooper; four sisters, three brothers; and two nephews. She graduated from West Texas State College. She married Calvin Galyen on Dec. 27, 1948, in Snyder. She taught school at Ira and she also tutored students in Maracaibo, Venezuela, and Iquequi, Chile. She was secretary for Galyen Drilling Co. as long as it was in business. Moving to Tulia in 1965 she helped with Meals on Wheels, played softball and tennis for many years and was a member of First Baptist Church, where she was on the Bereavement committee and a member of the senior adult choir called The Silvertones. She helped organize the Sunshine Girls. She was a member of the hospital auxiliary. Mr. Morgan was born July 7, 1929, in Wilbarger County to the late Mr. Ross Morgan and Mrs. Amy Jackson Morgan and his stepmother, Elva Morgan. He was a graduate of Littlefield High School. He married Loreta McMullen on July 29, 1950, in Lubbock. They moved to Canadian in November 1974 from Brownfield. Bill was a supervisor fisherman and involved in the snubbing operation in the oilfield; he was employed with Bobcat Pressure Control. He also managed the Canadian Yard. Bill has worked in the oilfield industry for 53 years. He was past president of API and Rotary. He was also a member of Church of Christ and SAR. He was preceded in death by two sons, Richard Joe Morgan in May 1991, and Steven Glen Morgan in June 2001. Rawls on Jan. 30, 1941, in Memphis. He preceded her in death on Oct. 13, 1981. She was a resident of Pampa since 1941. She worked for Levine's store for several years, and worked as a clerk in the Gray County ASCS office for 34 years. She was a member of the Mary Ellen & Harvester Church of Christ since 1956. She had lived the past five years with her grandson Kevin and his family in Heber City, Utah, recently returning to Pampa to live in the Pampa Nursing Center as a result of her Alzheimer's disease. He was in the U.S. Army for 20 years as a staff sergeant with Company C of the Operational Detachment 12 Special Forces Group. He then worked for Santa Fe Railway. He was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery by Brooks Funeral Directors. Janenne L. Davis was born Sept. 21, 1939, to Claude and Louise Lyles. She went to school in Amarillo. She married Russell Early in Amarillo and they had two sons, Rusty and Wayne. In 1992 she married Ervin Davis and they resided on the family farm southwest of Canyon until her death. She enjoyed china painting and egg decorating and received many awards. She loved her family. She enjoyed table games and was a member of an 88 Club for many years. She also loved square dancing and traveling and took many enjoyable trips. She enjoyed working with the cattle and doing farm chores. She was a member of Paramount Terrace Christian Church for many years and later became a member of First Baptist Church of Canyon, where she attended the Adult One Sunday school class. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Ervin Davis of Canyon; two sons, Rusty Early and wife Stephanie of Miami and Wayne Early of Canyon; a stepdaughter, Ronda Huskey and husband Skip of Canyon; two brothers, Jerry Lyles and wife Joann of San Marcos, Calif., and Ronnie Lyles and wife Brenda of Amarillo; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was born June 5, 1945, in Morrilton, Ark., to Justin and Leon McCoy. As a child he was reared on various military posts throughout the world. He entered the U.S. Air Force at the age of 18. While stationed in Amarillo, he met and married Myra Widiczky on Feb. 5, 1967. He was stationed at various Air Force bases during his military career. He retired in 1985 as a master sergeant. He returned to Amarillo and became employed by Helium Operations where he worked until he retired in 2000. Mr. McCoy worked for a short time for the Amarillo Police Department as a jailer. His wife, Myra, died in Amarillo in 2002 and he moved to Arizona to be near his family. He was also preceded in death by his father, Justin McCoy, in 2002.
