She committed herself fully to the task at hand and silently challenged those around her to be better wives, mothers, friends and Christians. Kerry was happiest when there was a job to be done. Whether a meal was to be prepared or a Sunday School Curriculum planned, Kerry was the first to volunteer, and you knew the result would be flawless. Always attentive to detail, Kerry's great taste and sense of style echoed in everything she touched. Every day should now seem more precious to us all. This spring, the sun should feel warmer and the grass greener than springs past. Rather than simply attending, we should take in our pastor's sermons on Sundays and really, really listen. We should approach things differently now than we would have just one year ago because we are thankful. Thankful for the opportunity to know Kerry, thankful for the beautiful boys she left for us all to love, thankful for the perspective she has left in our hearts.
