Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First United Methodist Church in Wellington with the Rev. Charles Addington, pastor, and the Rev. Michael Breedlove, pastor of Trinity Fellowship Church in Wellington, officiating. Burial will be in Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon. Mr. Fedric was born in Claude. He lived in Stratford until 1935, when his dad, Remer Fedric, began working at road construction and moved his family to follow the work. Steve went to 17 schools in Texas before graduating from Claude High School in 1943. He joined the Navy soon after graduating and was sent to the South Pacific with the construction batallion Sea Bees, where he helped build air strips on a number of islands. He returned to the states in 1946 and was discharged from the Navy a few months later. Steve married Marjourie Gilbert on June 1, 1947, in Claude. They lived in Hereford and Amarillo before moving to Clarendon, where they farmed for 22 years and raised their family. In 1972, they moved to Perryton for a short time, then to Pampa where Steve worked for Permian Corp. hauling crude oil for 15 years. After retirement, they made their home near Pampa until the summer of 2005 when they moved to Wellington. Steve loved the Lord, his family and the church. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Wellington. Survivors include a loving family including his wife; two daughters, Cheryl Sanders and husband Bob of White Deer and Lanita Moore and husband Bud of Lubbock; two sons, Mitch Fedric and wife Tana of Bridgeport and Randy Fedric and wife Bonnie of Wellington; seven grandchildren, Robert Moore, Dusty Harrison, Andy Starnes, Jana Moore, Justin Moore, Cody Fedric and Coby Fedric; and six great-grandchildren. She enjoyed quiet times, music, walking her puppy, talking on the telephone, being with her friends and laughing, and she enjoyed being with her family. Amarillo Globe-News, May 22, 2006 Alberteen Schulkey Tripplehorn Alberteen Schulkey Tripplehorn, 86, of Amarillo, formerly of Pampa, died Sunday, May 21, 2006. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church in Pampa with the Rev. Lonny Robbins, pastor of Trinity Fellowship Church in Pampa, officiating. Mrs. Tripplehorn was born June 21, 1919, in Chillicothe and moved to Pampa as a young child with her parents. She graduated from Pampa High School and attended Baylor University and Texas Tech. She married Robert L. Tripplehorn on June 27, 1940, in Pampa, and he preceded her in death in 1993 after 53 years of marriage. Mrs. Tripplehorn was a member of First Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday school teacher for 17 years and as floral chairwoman for 24 years. She was a former member of the WomenÕs Missionary Union of First Baptist and served as secretary to the Adult I Sunday School Department for more than 20 years. She was a member of the Pampa Country Club, several bridge clubs and was a charter member of the Hospital Auxiliary. In earlier years, she was active in PTA, and at one time, she served as sponsor to the Sub-Deb Club, a girlsÕ social organization. Mr. and Mrs. Tripplehorn contributed for many years to numerous organizations including colleges and other charitable projects that were recipients of their dedicated support. No one ever dies as long as they are remembered. Survivors include a daughter, Carol Shannon and husband Dan of Santa Fe, N.M.; a son, David R. Burial will be in Texline Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors. Miss Robinson was born Sept. 15, 1912, in Santa Fe to Charles M. And Sarah Latena Phillips Robinson. In 1914, the family moved to Hutchinson, Kan., where she resided for all of her childhood. Miss Robinson graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1930 and then attended Hutchinson Junior College, graduating in 1934 with a teacherÕs certificate, which she never used. She moved to Topeka, Kan., where she was employed with the Kansas State Welfare Department until 1953. Miss Robinson moved to San Francisco in 1953 and worked for the Bank of California as a trust auditing officer until her retirement in 1976. She moved to Clayton upon her retirement. Miss Robinson moved to Texline in 1980, where she became an active member of Texline United Methodist Church, serving on the administrative board. She was active in WSCS and in the Draper Extension Club and worked as a volunteer in the Texline Public Library for more than 20 years. In the fall of 2002, she moved to the Sage Creek Unit and later the Windflower Unit of Craig Methodist Retirement Community in Amarillo. She was preceded in death by her parents, and three sisters, Margaret Lucas, Elizabeth McCurry and Virginia Wood.
