Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Southwest Church of Christ with Brian Mashburn officiating. Arrangements are by Cox-LaGrone Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive. Mrs. Stark was born May 20, 1941, was raised in Hockley County and graduated from Ropesville High School. She attended South Plains College as well as Wayland Baptist University in Plainview. She married Gary Don Stark on Sept. 29, 1963, in Plainview. He passed away on May 9. She worked as an office manager-treasurer for Production Credit Association for 36 years before retiring in 1999. She moved to Amarillo in 2004 from Plainview. Martha loved life and her family more than anything else in the world. She loved being "Nana" to her grandchildren and going to their activities and supporting whatever they were doing. She loved taking her children to Six Flags and the Palo Duro Canyon. She loved working in her yard, watching birds and enjoying nature. She loved to travel to the mountains and especially Las Vegas. The family would like to express their appreciation to the doctors and staff at M.D. Anderson as well as the Amarillo Cancer Center and Baptist-St. Anthony's Hospice and Life Enrichment. She was also preceded in death by her parents, A.R. and Grace Mannin; a sister, Pat Kale; and two brothers, Buddy Mannin and Billy Mannin. Survivors include a daughter, Kim McDonald and husband Wayne of Amarillo; a son, Lance Stark and wife Becky of Amarillo; three brothers, Victor Mannin of Amarillo, A.J. Mannin of Newcastle and Jim Mannin of Lubbock; two sisters, Betty Wylie of Tyler and Linda Nivens of Casper, Wyo.; three grandchildren, Courtney McDonald, Colton McDonald and Sam Stark, all of Amarillo; and many nieces and nephews who were very special to her. Rosary was said at 7 p.m. Sunday in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Services will be at 10 a.m. today in the church with Bobby Welch, deacon of Tucumcari, N.M., officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Prieto was born March 18, 1944, in Tucumcari. He moved to Amarillo more than 30 years ago. He worked as a carpenter at Amarillo College for more than 20 years. After his retirement, he worked as a carpenter at several restaurants in Amarillo. He was preceded in death by a son, Peter Joseph Prieto Jr., in 2001. Hughes St. Mrs. Williams was born Feb. 11, 1918, in Winnsboro. She married Ausbon "Red" McCoy in 1946 in Amarillo. A celebration of her life will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Todd Dyess, Amarillo district superintendent of the United Methodist Church, and John Curry officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Reynolds died peacefully at her home on Sunday, June 11. Mrs. Reynolds was born Feb. 15, 1918, in Pampa. She lived briefly in White Deer and Amarillo before returning to Pampa in 1934. She married Albert "Tennie" Reynolds on Aug. 8, 1937, in Sayre, Okla. She was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church and was a charter member of both the Junior Service League of Pampa and the Hospital Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing bridge and taking care of her family and served as a Cub Scout den mother. The family would like to express their appreciation to Mrs. Reynolds' caregivers, Maria Copado, Nancy Villanueva and Joann Taylor. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2000; a granddaughter, Amanda Jacobs, in 1999; a sister, Lorene Stein; and a daughter-in-law, Virginia Reynolds, in 2005. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. today in Hunt Memorial United Methodist Church with Jim Guest, pastor, officiating. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Muleshoe Memorial Park Cemetery in Muleshoe. Arrangements are by Ellis Funeral Home of Muleshoe. Mr. Black was born Dec. 5, 1938, to Pete and Ruth Black. He was a member of Hunt Memorial United Methodist Church in Dumas. An auctioneer for 50 years, he also owned and operated a farm in Bailey County for more than 30 years. For 38 years he worked in law enforcement, including the Bailey County Sheriff's Department, chief of police in Muleshoe and police detective in Dumas. Buddy also owned and operated Black Lawn and Chemical in Dumas for 25 years. His love of children and animals led him to his involvement with 4-H and FFA. He was past president of the Moore County Junior Livestock Association in Dumas and served in various other capacities as well. He was an inspiration to many people due to his loyalty, family values, ambition, pure honesty, unconditional love and desire to live life to its fullest, even when the going got tough. He has gone to his final resting place with the Lord. Survivors include his wife, Susan; two sons, Eddie Black and wife Heather of Frisco and Mitch Black and wife Misti of Denver; three daughters, Loveta McFarlin of Amarillo, Carol Black of Nixa, Mo., and Carrah Terry and husband Nick of Altus, Okla.; 15 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Bob Black of Muleshoe.
