Memorial services will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday in Paramount Baptist Church with Dr. Gil Lain officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors Bell Avenue Chapel, 5400 S. Bell St. Lisa was born April 5, 1965, in Farmington, N.M. In 1984, she moved to Phoenix, where she met Bud Herber in October 1984. She and Bud have been together ever since. Bud and Lisa moved to Amarillo in 1986. She worked in the car business until 1993, when she had her beautiful daughter, Hannah. From 1993 until her passing, she concentrated on being the best Mommy in the world to Hannah and the best wife in the world to Bud. She loved to read, work in her garden and do crafts. She loved the Lord, and taught second grade Sunday school at Paramount Baptist Church for 12 years. She was loving and loved, and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her father, Mike Amersek Jr.; and a sister, Jacque Dehart. Survivors include her husband, Bud; a daughter, Hannah; her mother, Mettie Amersek of Farmington; two brothers, Mike Amersek III of Downingtown, Pa., and Phil Amersek and wife Carli of Broken Arrow, Okla.; a sister, Angel Arcadia and husband Jim of Glendale, Ariz.; a brother-in-law, Andy Dehart of Farmington; and numerous nieces and nephews. Georgia St. Mr. Sanders was born in Brashear to Zelbert and Zella Sanders. He married Jane Jobe on May 12, 1956, in Clovis, N.M. He retired from the city of Amarillo in 1995. He was an avid toy collector. He was selfless and always gave of himself to others. He was preceded in death by his parents, Zelbert and Zella Sanders; a daughter, Terri Sanders; and a son, David Sanders. Ted Eugene Bruce was born April 23, 1930, in Childress, the only son of Leslie and Ola Bruce. He was a lifetime resident of Hall and Childress counties. Ted farmed, ranched and was an engineer for Burlington Northern Railroad. He was best known for breeding quarter horses, having won the All American Futurity in 1977. He married Betty June Jackson on April 4, 1969, in Floydada. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Betty Bruce of Childress; a son, Gene Bruce and wife Cheryl of Parnell; three daughters, Jackie Taylor and husband Kerry of Childress, Virginia Labus and husband Vernon of Panhandle and Julie Bruce of Lubbock; seven grandchildren, Leslie Bruce and wife Shirece of Childress, Lindsey Bruce of Lubbock, Matt Stampfli of Amarillo, Sara Labus of Panhandle, Courtney Halsell and husband Josh of Clarendon, Cory Taylor and wife Jennifer of Denver and Cody Taylor and wife Jody of Dickens; and seven grandchildren, Skyler Greer, Seth Greer, Colby Taylor, Hadleigh Halsell, Taylor Halsell, London Taylor and Laila Taylor. He married Dorotha Connelley on Nov. 26, 1939, in Albuquerque, N.M. Mr. Prowell retired after owning Hereford Welding for several years and was a farmer. He was a member of the Hereford Kiwanis Club, a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of Hereford Masonic Lodge No. 849, the Khiva Shriners and a 50-year member of First Baptist Church in Hereford. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Survivors include his wife, Dorotha of Midland; two daughters, Dollie Jo Parker and husband Pat of Amarillo and Shari Maxey and husband Ben of Midland; a brother, Bill Prowell and wife Louise of Albuquerque; a sister, Jo Hamrick of Amarillo; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
