Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Southwest Church of Christ with Brian Mashburn and Leon Talley officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Cox-LaGrone Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive. Mr. Harris was born March 3, 1963, in Perryton and was raised in Pampa. He was a 1981 graduate of Pampa High School. He moved to Amarillo in 1993 from Canyon. He married Wendy Gresham in 1992 in Friona. He worked for the Toro dealership in Pampa as a mechanic before moving to Amarillo. He worked for the Texas Department of Corrections at the Clements Unit from 1990 until 1993. After retiring in 1993, he loved and took pride in being a "house husband." Andy loved his family, playing video games with his kids and loved nature. He was involved in Boy Scouts most of his life and enjoyed being involved in scouting with his boys. He served on the board of directors for Make-A-Wish and was a member of the Optimist Club. He loved to garden and was a member of the Daylilly Club. He was a member of Southwest Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Carrie Harris, in 2005 and his father, Charles Harris, in 2006. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Jo Beth, Kami and Kailey; two sons, Mitchell and Marcus; his mother, Lois Harris of Pampa; and a sister, Lisa Darden of Pampa. Mrs. Hanks was born June 15, 1935, in Ira, the fifth of nine children to Richard and Nettie Lewis, and was raised in Snyder. She was a graduate of Snyder High School and attended Draughon's Business College. She married Bill Hanks in 1956 in Snyder and moved to Amarillo in 1972 from Corpus Christi. She served as a deputy sheriff for the Potter County Sheriff's Department for 20 years before retiring in 1995. She was a member of Church of Christ. She loved her family, being a grandmother and going to the lake to fish. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; and three sisters. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel in Borger with the Rev. Terry Roediger, Mr. Roediger's son, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Pampa. Mr. Roediger died Friday, June 16, peacefully at home with his family by his side. Mr. Roediger was born Nov. 4, 1922, in Ransom, Kan., to Robert and Eletha Roediger. His family moved to Phillips in 1933, where he lived until moving to Fritch in 1986. He graduated from Phillips High School in 1942. He married his high school sweetheart, Garnetta Cornelius, on May 28, 1942, in Phillips. They were happily married for 64 years. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was an original member of the Hutchinson County Pilots Association. At 18, he was one of the youngest pilots in Hutchinson County. He attended Frank Phillips College and served as an auxiliary deputy sheriff under Sheriff Hugh Anderson. He retired from Phillips Petroleum Co. as a boilermaker after 43 years of service. He loved living the retired life with his wife. He enjoyed fixing things and enjoyed his flying years. The most important wish that he had was that his son Dennis Roediger's urn containing his ashes would be interred with him. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant brother, Ralph Vernon Roediger; a son, Dennis Wayne Roediger; and an infant grandson, Jeffrey Roediger. Survivors include his wife; a son, the Rev. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Austin, former interim pastor, officiating and Steve Baskin, Mr. Baskin's son, assisting. Burial will be in Stratford Cemetery with flag detail by the Naval Operational Support Center of Amarillo. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Mr. Baskin was born July 21, 1926, in Amarillo to Thomas Frank Baskin Jr. and Flossie Muncy Baskin. He was a farmer and rancher and a lifelong Sherman County resident. He was a proud veteran of the Navy, serving from 1944 until 1946. After leaving the Navy, he returned to the farm which has been in his family since 1902. On May 20, 1948, he married Mattie Newman in Stratford. In 1973, he was elected XIT Director for District III, Sherman County, for the XIT Rural Telephone Cooperative, and in March 2006, was re-elected for another three-year term. In his more than 33 years of service to what is now XIT Communications, he chaired several committees and served as secretary-treasurer and president of the board of directors. He was recognized in 1977 for his successful farming by being named Conservation Farmer of the Year in Sherman County, being the first dryland farmer to receive the award in that county. He served several terms as a director of the Sherman County Farm Bureau, holding the offices of president and secretary-treasurer. He was chairman of the Appraisal District and was a director-at-large on the Rita Blanca Electric Cooperative board. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Stratford. He was a Sunday school teacher for both young people and adults and was an NRA instructor for a number of years. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Steve Baskin and wife Sandy of Stratford and Mike Baskin and good friend Kirk Gomez of Maricopa, Ariz.; a daughter, Lucy Gerken and husband Ray of Littleton, Colo.; a sister, Agnes Sybrandt of Delta, Colo.; 10 grandchildren, Amy, T.D., Melissa, Megan, Cindy, Hillary, Holly, Carla, Allison and Isaac; and a great-granddaughter, Kaia. She graduated from Spearman High School. She married Gene Cudd in 1942 in Borger, and they lived on a farm with their family outside Perryton. In 1970, she moved to Spearman, where she lived until her death. Frances was very active in the First United Methodist Churches in Perryton and Spearman. She was dedicated to both her immediate and large extended families. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claud and Nannie Sheets; a son, Donnie Cudd in 1958; three sisters, Alice Johnson, Grace Harmond and Zola Mitchell; and four brothers, Daniel "Pinky" Sheets, Martin Sheets, Leroy Sheets and Floyd Sheets.
