Osage St. Mrs. Collins enjoyed watching the Dillas baseball team and the Amarillo Gorillas hockey team and attended many Palo Duro football games. Survivors include her husband, Doyle Collins; two daughters, Judy Lynn Collins and Barbara Ann Collins, both of Amarillo; a sister, Helen Purcell of Amarillo; a granddaughter, April Marie Collins of Amarillo; a great-grandson, Austin Don Moore of Amarillo; and numerous nieces and cousins. He married Susie Mabry on April 30, 2005, in Pampa. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Grace Fellowship Church with Terry Stegall, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Mrs. Mitchell was called home on Thursday, June 15, in Houston. Mrs. Mitchell was born July 14, 1956, in Petaluma, Calif. She was a retired school bus driver for the Borger Independent School District. Marie was also a Baptist, a member of the Borger Altrusa Club and a member of Alcoholics Anonymous. She was a super nanny to Hunter and Mallee Whitmire. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael on April 21, 2003; her parents; a brother; and a sister. Survivors include two daughters, Marci Record and Sonya Jones and husband Darrell, all of Denison; three brothers, Mickey McMillion and wife Lois Ann of Lawrence, Kan., Paul Moore of Petaluma and Andy Moore; four grandchildren, Tyler and Conner Record and Kaitlyn and Thomas Jones; and a special friend, Donnie Griffin. Mr. McAllister was born Jan. 8, 1935, in Shamrock to James O. McAllister and Minnie Ethel Wallace McAllister. He attended Shamrock schools and was a farmer until 1973 when he joined the maintenance department of the Shamrock schools. He worked until he retired in 1992. He was a member of Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Calvin McAllister; and a sister, Lillian Shirley. Survivors include a brother, Melvin McAllister of Odessa; four nephews; and two nieces. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
