Services will be at noon today in Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road, with Deacon Hector Gallegos officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mrs. Chairez de Perez was born Sept. 10, 1954, in Juarez, Mexico, to Jesus Chairez and Sara Pacheco. She was preceded in death by her father. Survivors include her husband, Enrique Perez; five daughters, Gabriela Perez, Miriam Perez, Adrianna Perez, Isela Perez and Judith Perez; her mother, Sara Pacheco; five sisters, Socorro Chairez, Elvira Chairez, Teresa Chairez, Pilar Chairez and Cristina Chairez; three brothers, Martin Chairez, Juan Chairez and Jorge Chairez; eight grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Roberson was born May 15, 1957, in Amarillo. He married Mary Morris in 1989, and was a member of Victory Church. He worked for Wheelabrator Coal for 20 years and then for Air Oasis for 1 years. He was a member of North Amarillo Kiwanis. He enjoyed fishing, inventing in his shop and spending time with his family and dogs. He will be missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his wife, Mary Roberson; two daughters, Kristina Williams and April Bennert, both of Amarillo; his father, Robbie Roberson of Amarillo; his mother, Dorothy Jackson of Amarillo; four sisters, Debbie Knapp of North Richland Hills and Vonda Young, Sharron Belter and Zelda O'Neil, all of Amarillo; a brother, Michael Janzen of Amarillo; four grandchildren, Ariel, Cullen, Ashton and Sean; and numerous nieces and nephews. No services are planned. Arrangements are by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel, Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street. Mr. Horton was born in Hollis, Okla., and had lived in Amarillo for more than 30 years. He had owned one of the first underground irrigation companies in the Panhandle in the '60s and '70s. He was a pilot and had owned a crop spraying company in Dumas. Mr. Horton was an Army veteran, having served during the Korean conflict. Survivors include three brothers, Ken Cansler of Austin, Harlan Cansler of Binkelman, Neb., and Cletis Cansler of Phoenix; two sons and two daughters in various parts of the country; and several grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity. The body will not be available for viewing. Born Nov. 19, 1927, Connie was the ninth of 10 children born to Floyd County pioneers Nellie Harper and Harvey Samuel Bolin. She attended schools in Plainview and graduated from Texas State College for Women in 1950. Connie married Charles L. Eubanks and moved to Amarillo in 1951. Professionally, she worked in the library system at Amarillo College for 20 years. Her last years were spent with family in Wichita Falls. Connie will best be remembered for her strong work ethic, unselfish nature, strength of character and love of friends and family. She loved the outdoors and possessed a true pioneer spirit. The family would especially like to thank the staff of Rolling Meadows for their dedication and love to Connie. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Cragg and Stephanie Eubanks of Wichita Falls; two grandchildren, Winn and Madeline Eubanks; a sister, Charlene Mise of Lubbock; and a brother, Harvey Bolin of Denair, Calif.
