Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in Hansford Cemetery in Spearman. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Bette was born Oct. 9, 1928, in Canadian to Mr. and Mrs. Silva Davis. She graduated from Spearman High School in 1946, working for Gordon's Drug through school. She then worked for Brown, Graham & Associates and Spearman Auto. She married Paul Hazelwood on Jan. 16, 1948. She moved to Amarillo six years ago and was a member of First Baptist Church in Spearman. She was preceded in death by her husband in October 1999; a son, Bill Hazelwood in 1996; a grandson, Jake Hazelwood; a sister, Viola Wallin; and two brothers, Caylor Davis and Bobby Dean Davis. Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Needham of Africa and Mary Sue McCauley and husband Tim of Leander; a daughter-in-law, Kathy Hazelwood of Amarillo; a son, Greg Hazelwood and wife Jan of Friona; a brother, Bill Davis and wife Nellie of Garland; six grandchildren, Ryan, Danielle, Rory, Caleb, Nicholaus and Christopher; and four great-grandchildren, Alexis, Autumn, Gannon and Jordan. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mrs. York was born Aug. 17, 1921, in Omaha, Neb., to Albin and Grace Huster. She married Dock R. York on Feb. 9, 1942. The family wishes to thank the staff at BSA Hospice and Home Care and Vivian's Nursing Home for all their loving care. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1971; and her parents. Mrs. Casteel was born April 25, 1923, in Shawnee, Okla., to Robert Clark and Lydia Victoria Baize Wallace. She married Herman Casteel on June 10, 1950, in Clovis, N.M. They lived in Borger from 1950 to 1964 when they moved to Dumas. Boots was an active member of First Baptist Church in Dumas. For 17 years she loved preparing and serving food for hundreds of people on Wednesday nights at First Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, devoted mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by all. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Linus and Lena; and a brother, Joe Wallace. Survivors include her husband, Herman Casteel; a daughter, Shirley Camilli and husband George of Felt, Okla.; a son, Ralph Casteel and wife Maria Louisa of Tijuana, Mexico; a sister, Valley Hammond of Lawton, Okla.; a brother, Doyle Wallace and wife Shirley of Fort Smith, Ark.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Mrs. Fleenor was born Oct. 22, 1916, in Ochitree County to Robert and Mary Stump Harmond. She married W.R. Fleenor, who preceded her in death. She was a longtime member of the Church of Christ at Sunray, where she was a resident, but spent the last years in Fritch. Mrs. Fleenor was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a caregiver, Sunday school teacher, Girl Scout leader and the Home Demonstration's Woman of the Year in 1983. She valued her family and her friends. She was also preceded in death by a brother; and a sister. Arrangements are by McCauley Robison Funeral Home. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ineata "Mae" Madison NORTH RICHLAND HILLS - Ineata "Mae" Madison, 81, formerly of Amarillo, died Saturday, Aug. 5, 2006. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Memorial Chapel in Llano Cemetery in Amarillo. Arrangements are by Quentin's Funeral Home of Euless. Mrs. Madison was born June 21, 1925, in Childress, the daughter of the late Henry W. and Edith Fischer, and the wife of the late L.W. "Bill" Madison, retired railroad engineer. Moving to Amarillo in 1950, she was a mother and a homemaker for many years. In the 1960s, she worked at Morehead Foods before her son, Jim, and his wife, Therlene, introduced her to the floral and wedding business. Because of her enjoyment of working with and meeting people, she continued to own, operate or work in several floral shops in Amarillo until she retired in 1995. Most people who met Mae immediately thought of her as a caring, compassionate friend, and she was. Most of the last decade, Mae lived in Albuquerque, N.M., where she enjoyed spending time with a sister, two brothers and their families. They enjoyed many family gatherings, birthdays and holidays together. In recent years, she also spent a great deal of her time with her granddaughter, Andrea Madison Bandy, and her family, whom she loved dearly, where she enjoyed her grandchildren and the beautiful, scenic land that is the site of Andrea's home in Kansas. Mae was spending the winter months with her son, Gary, when diagnosed with esophageal cancer in March 2006. Due to the advanced stages of the cancer, Mae chose not to seek treatment. She passed away peacefully at home. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1981; an infant son, Ricky L. Madison in 1955; a brother, H.W. "Dub" Fischer in 2002; and a sister, Lorraine Williams in 2005. Survivors include two sons, Jim R. Madison and wife Thurlene of Amarillo and Gary D. Madison and wife Camille of North Richland Hills; a brother, Arnold Fischer of Albuquerque; a sister, Carol Bennighoff of Albuquerque; five grandchildren, Robin, Andrea, Nick, Marcus and Beth; a stepgranddaughter, Jessica Walkup; four great-grandchildren, Billy, Blake, Lauren and Grace; two beloved sisters-in-law, Ethel Madison of Turlock, Calif., and Vonelle Fischer of Albuquerque; and several nieces and nephews.
