Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd., with the Rev. Robert Ziehmer, pastor of First Christian Church, officiating. Mr. Heath was born May 12, 1964, in Amarillo to L.W. and Betty Jean Heath. He attended local schools and worked for Lowe's and Precision Industries as a delivery man. He was a member of First Christian Church. He had many friends in the music business and also in the dog breeding and grooming business. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Anthony Heath. Survivors include a daughter, Jennifer Clayton of Pampa; a sister, Martha Larson and husband Gary of Amarillo; an aunt, Carol Kirian; a nephew, David Heath and his wife and family; and a cousin, Ronda Murie and family. Ms. Hartman was born June 14, 1947, in Amarillo, was raised in Amarillo and lived here all of her life. She worked for Levi Strauss for more than 15 years until they closed in Amarillo. She was a Christian. She loved her pets and loved watching old movies. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Alexander and Wanda Ware Alexander. Survivors include two sons, Rick Lowe and Raymond Lowe, both of Amarillo, and a grandson, Christopher Lowe of Amarillo. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Juanita Martindale Juanita Martindale, 85, of Amarillo died Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2006. Arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40. Mrs. Martindale was born in Lawton, Okla., and was a resident of Amarillo for 79 years. She was a homemaker and a member of San Jacinto Baptist Church. She was a dedicated mother and housewife. She loved to travel and camp. She married Calvin Martindale on Dec. 2, 1943, in Dumas. He preceded her in death on Dec. 2, 1988. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Carlene Johnson in 1995; a stepson, Pete Martindale in 2002; a stepdaughter, Clara Faye Patton in 2003; a great-grandson, Tony Evans in 1991; and a brother, Vic McCaig in 2004. Brown BETHANY, OKLA. - Cecil M. Brown, 86, died Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2006. Services will be at 10 a.m. today in First Christian Church in Camargo. Burial will be in Camargo Cemetery by Mercer-Adams Funeral Service. Mr. Brown was a loving, dedicated husband, father, grandfather and friend. Mr. Brown was born April 19, 1920, in Tupelo to Eli and Latchie Williams Brown. Before serving in the Marines during World War II, Cecil married Edith Johnson of Vici on July 5, 1941. Thereafter, the young couple followed the construction trade throughout parts of Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas. They came to settle in Amarillo, Texas, where Cecil perfected his craft, becoming a master carpenter. He used his hands and skill to minister to his family, friends and church (Valleyview Nazarene Church) over the next 50 years. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Edith; a son, R.E. To those he knew, he was more than a friend - he was a brother. To his family, he was everything. Jim was a seven-year veteran with the Bryan Police Department as a member of the tactical response team. He was a member of Beacon Baptist Church, Bryan Police Officers Association and the Texas Tactical Police Officers Association. Jim had earned the respect of all who knew him and will be deeply missed. She worked at the Bureau of Reclamation in Amarillo until 1989, when she took a job with the FDIC in the Dallas area and settled later in Mesquite. She never met anyone who wasn't destined to become an endeared friend.
