Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors Bell Avenue Chapel, 5400 S. Bell St., with Glen Walton and Bob Crass officiating. Mr. McGee was born Nov. 17, 1912, in St. Louis, Okla., to Robert and Mattie McGee. He served as elder in Church of Christ in Shawnee, Okla., Hereford and in Amarillo. He married Patsy Lueree Ferguson on Sept. 16, 1933. He was a member of Central Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; and six brothers. Survivors include his wife; a son, Randy McGee and wife Kaye of Lubbock; three daughters, Sylvia McDade and husband Gary, Karen Herring and husband Carroll and Barbara Vincent and husband Jack, all of Amarillo; a sister, Vida Butler of Hereford; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Pittman was born Sept. 6, 1919, in Groom to John and Nora Pittman. He married Alma Mae Lawrence on March 31, 1937, and they were married for 69 years. He passed away at his home, with family by his side. He was self- employed in the sign business for 60 years, establishing Amarillo Neon Sign Co. in 1945. He led an active life and enjoyed hunting, fishing, trailering, square dancing for 20 years and spending time with his family. He also served in the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and three sisters. Survivors include his wife; a son, Jim Pittman and wife Virginia of Amarillo; three daughters, Norita Skelton and husband R.D. of Lubbock and Pam McDanel and Penny Crawford and husband Skeeter, all of Amarillo; eight granddaughters; 13 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. He married Juanita Garcia in Dimmitt. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Sisk, 78, died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2006, in Oklahoma City. Services will be at 11 a.m. today in People's Co-operative Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Coffin, minister of Hobart Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Lone Wolf Cemetery. Mr. Sisk was born March 21, 1928, in Friona, Texas, to Kate Pillow Sisk and Robert Sisk. Mr. Sisk enlisted in the Merchant Marine at age 15 and two years later, at age 17, he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps. After World War II, he went to China with Marine Occupation Forces and was there 18 months. In 1950, he was called back to active duty and served in Korea, where he was awarded two Purple Heart medals for injuries sustained in combat with enemy forces. He married Neta Card Sisk on July 15, 1948, in Mangum and attended Hardin Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. He worked in financial management for several businesses and in 1970, began ranching in the Panhandle of Texas, where he also was the caretaker for the Range Riders Riding Club until his retirement in 1990. He and his wife moved to Lone Wolf in 1994, where he resided until his passing. Mr. Sisk was a member of Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother.
