Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Life Tabernacle Church with the Rev. Mark Wallis officiating. Burial will be in Dumas Cemetery by Morrison Funeral Directors. Mr. McCutchan was born Dec. 13, 1926, in Bovina, and had been a resident of Dumas since 1953. He married Nada Fowlkes on Sept. 18, 1946, in Clayton, N.M. Don joined the Merchant Marine in 1944. He worked for Diamond Shamrock/Valero for 38 years retiring in 1991. After retirement, he enjoyed his woodworking shop. Don was a charter member of Life Tabernacle Church and was involved in the building of the church. He was preceded in death by a son, Dorvel McCutchan; a great-grandson, Traydon McCutchan; his parents; a brother; and a sister. Survivors include his wife, Nada; two sons, Leroy McCutchan and wife Shirley of Dumas and Belvin McCutchan and wife Pam of Borger; two brothers, D.A. "Buster" McCutchan of Dumas and Bobby McCutchan of Eureka, Calif.; three sisters, Cuma Frochen of Ukiah, Calif., Betty Ledford of Springdale, Ark., and Leona Smith of Manteca, Calif.; a daughter-in-law, Tracy McCutchan of Dumas; seven grandchildren, Corey, Cody, Dallas, Lance, Keena, Caleb and Jordan; and 12 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Nunnelley was born May 10, 1942, in Dallas to Roy and Jeannette Montgomery Hoffman. She married Carroll Nunnelley on Oct. 20, 1962, in Dozier. She graduated from Samnorwood High School in 1960 and from TI Business School in 1961. She worked at TI for two years, at Saieds and at Wells & Wells. She was a beauty consultant to many young ladies, a former Girl Scout leader, an advocate for special-needs children, active in the Democratic Party and a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Joe Hoffman. Caitlin was born Nov. 8, 1987, in Pampa to Dale and Deanna Bullock. She graduated from Panhandle High School and recently was attending Amarillo College. She was a very talented young lady, showing great interest in painting and writing poetry. She also loved to travel, and had the opportunity to visit places like Hawaii, New York City and London. Caitlin touched the hearts of many people, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Tinker, 54, of Amarillo died Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2006, after a long battle with breast cancer. Mrs. Tinker was born in Floydada and spent most of her adult life in Houston. She and her family moved to Amarillo in 2003. She was a 1974 graduate of West Texas State University and earned her master's degree in 1981. She also did post-graduate study at Stephen F. Austin University. She began her teaching career in Lamesa and was a well-known and innovative teacher in the Houston area for more than 26 years, working primarily with special education students. Her last assignment was at Stovall Academy in the Aldine Independent School District. She also taught, and was curriculum director at Sacred Heart School in Crosby and at the Harris County Center for the Retarded in Houston. She was a member of Delta Zeta sorority, the American Curriculum Development Association and the Texas Classroom Teachers Association. Mrs. Tinker was a Eucharistic minister in the Catholic Church and taught adult education and Bible school at Sacred Heart and St. Anne's Parishes in Houston. She was a member of St. Hyacinth's Catholic Church in Amarillo. She also actively supported such charities as the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the SPCA. She was preceded in death by her mother, Gladys Lawson. Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Dave; a daughter Catherine "C.J." Garza and husband Tony; a granddaughter, Rosalee; her father, Raymond E. Georgia St. Mr. Czewski was born and raised in Amarillo. He graduated from Amarillo High School. He married Veronica "Roni" Saucedo in Jamaica in 1992. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church for more than 12 years. David was a loving and devoted husband, father, son and son-in-law. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He had lived in Amarillo since 1970 and had worked as an upholsterer for 30 years. He worked at Northwest Texas Hospital in maintenance for 14 years, where he developed many close friendships. He was an avid fisherman and family man. He was much loved and will be missed. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy Mae Smith Ferguson. Mrs. Orr was born Feb. 14, 1923, in Waurika, Okla., to Pearl and Fred Hopson. She was a cadet nurse during World War II, and married Delmar David Orr on Jan. 20, 1946. Mr. Orr preceded her in death in 1987. She was a longtime member of the International Club and the Federated Women's Club and an early volunteer and longtime supporter of BSA Hospice. Mrs. Orr had resided for the past five years at Park Place, where she had made many friends and pursued her passion of caring for others. Burial will be in Texhoma Cemetery by Dawson Welch Funeral Home. J.R. was born April 13, 1927, in Texhoma to Gerald O. and Vinita O. Riley Davison. He grew up on the family farm north of town, on land his grandfather homesteaded in 1904, with his two sisters, Imogene Glover and Doretta Gregory. The land anchored J.R.'s journey and became a focal point for numerous life experiences. As a farmer and rancher, the land provided his livelihood and deep roots in the Oklahoma Panhandle. He taught math, science and served as a school principal in Texhoma, Lazbuddie, Texas, and Stinnett, Texas. Whether teaching math formulas or bringing the Dust Bowl to life through his vivid stories, he impacted generations of young students. J.R. accepted Christ and was a lifelong member of First Christian Church in Texhoma. J.R. married Mary Belle Gist on Aug. 4, 1946, in Texhoma. The family extends special thanks to friends, the staff of Dumas Nursing and Rehab Center and Moore County Memorial Hospice for tender care rendered in the past three years. Deward Wayne "Gib" Gibson went to be with his Savior on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2006. He was born May 16, 1939, in Bowie, Texas, and was raised in Hedley and Amarillo, Texas. In the 1950s he joined the Navy to serve his country and married the girl of his dreams. Gib dedicated his life to Christ, his wife Nancy, his children and grandchildren. He owned Gib Gibson's Oil and Gas Properties and made a career as a petroleum land man. He moved his family to Oklahoma City in 1977. Gib's life touched and brightened all the lives of those who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Delphia Brewer and Leslie Gibson; a sister, Wanda; and two brothers, Arthell and Gordon. Arrangements are by Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Mrs. Eckman was born Aug. 21, 1916, in Sandtown, Ark., to Elmer and Amy Chaudoin. She and Don Eckman were married in 1936 in Oklahoma and moved to Texas in 1939. They moved to Panhandle in 1942 where they built Panhandle Laundry in the mid-1960s and owned and operated it until retiring some 20 years later. He preceded her in death in 1995 after nearly 60 years of marriage. Mrs. Eckman was a longtime member of First Christian Church of Panhandle, where she served as a Sunday school teacher and in other capacities of the church, including the Prime Timers organization. After moving to Waco in 2000 to reside with her daughter and son-in-law, Kathryn and Jim Naylor, she continued her activity in church organizations as an associate member of Woodway First United Methodist Church.
