Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church in Grandfield, Okla., with the Rev. James M. Watson of Ardmore, Okla., officiating. Burial will be in Grandfield Memorial Cemetery by Gray Funeral Home of Grandfield. Billy Burl Allen was born March 16, 1954, in Wichita Falls to Burl and Jimmie Marie Watson Allen. He attended Grandfield Public School, graduating with the Class of 1972. He then attended Okmulgee Technical School. He was employed by Brown and Root, working in several different states. He resided in Amarillo for the past 14 years. He worked for MMM Plumbing, Heat and Air Conditioning Co. in the fabrication shop. Billy was a member of First Baptist Church of Grandfield. He was preceded in death by his parents; and an uncle and aunt, Ervin and Thelma Thompson. Survivors include a son, Billy Allen Jr. and wife Katie of Abilene, Kan.; a brother, Roger and wife Beverly of Amarillo; a sister, Brenda Beverly and husband James of Fort Worth; a nephew and niece, Jeremy and Brittany Beverly of Fort Worth; a special friend, Jessie Prosser of Amarillo; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Georgia St. Mrs. Bianchi was born Aug. 7, 1925, in Childress County to Walter Lee and Blanch Burrows Loter. She graduated from Kirkland High School, and went on to attend business college in Fort Worth. She began working at TSTI in 1970 as an administrative assistant until her retirement in 1988. Mrs. Bianchi had a love for bridge, and was active in several bridge clubs until her health prevented her involvement. She had a passion for reading and enjoyed a good book. She also loved Chinese food, working crossword puzzles and watching the Dallas Cowboys on TV. In her younger years, she was an avid fisherman. She was full of life, and had a great sense of humor. Survivors include a daughter, Vicki Tillisch Baldwin of Amarillo; a son, Stephen Tillisch and wife Betsy Morley of Nashville, Tenn.; two nieces, Cindy Van Zandt of The Woodlands and Nancy John and husband Ken of Boulder, Colo.; a nephew, Mark Williams and wife Tammy of Amarillo; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mr. Braly was born Sept. 15, 1939, in Childress to Cecil and Gladys Braly. He graduated from Childress High School. He attended WTSU and then moved to Hereford, where he was employed by Sperry-New Holland for 18 years. He married Nanah Taylor, the love of his life, on Feb. 19, 1967. The family moved to Amarillo in 1984, where he worked for RRISD as a mechanic/maintenance technician until the time of his death. Mr. Braly enjoyed sports of all types but particularly loved to watch his son participate in karate matches and really loved to fish. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Nanah "Nan" Braly of Amarillo; and a son, Erick Blaine Braly of Los Angeles. Barbara was born Jan. 12, 1938, in Los Angeles, and lived in Umbarger for many years. She worked as a kitchen supervisor for Randall County Sheriff's Department before retirement. She was an avid gardener and cook, and loved to share vegetables and baked goods with neighbors. She loved to fish and loved being "Grandma" to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Woodridge in 2003; a son, Donnie Gene Lee; and an infant sister, Dolores Jean Brockwell. Grady was born Jan. 19, 1933, in Liberty to Yvonne and Grady Workman Sr. He spent most of his youth in Lubbock, served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and called Amarillo home from 1963 to 2002. He worked in the tire business for most of his life. For more than 26, years he was a member of a 12-step program, touched many lives and was a positive influence to all. He had resided in Yukon for the past four years. He was preceded in death by parents; and by his first wife, Wanda Carolyn Workman. Survivors include a son, Robert Workman and wife Pam of Amarillo; a daughter, Cherie Gordon and husband Jon of Madrid, N.Y.; three grandchildren, Jacob Workman and wife Sabrina, Zack Workman and wife Janet and Carolyn Gordon; and a great-grandchild, Keenan Grady Workman. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. She was born Sept. 11, 1923, in Mount Pleasant, and had been a Moore County resident since 1942. Dorothy was owner/operator of Etter Grocery for many years, being a resident since 1942. People in the Etter/Cactus area loved to visit when they went to buy groceries. In the '80s, she started working as a security guard for the meat packing plant. Fifteen years ago, she met a truck driver, Leroy Whitfield, and they traveled the country on the big rig. The summer of 2006, she worked at Etter Farmers Market. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Eugene, Bobby, Rodney, Harold and Billy Jack. Survivors include Leroy; a brother, Max Johnson and wife Anne of Lubbock. Dorothy didn't have any children of her own, but raised John, Eddie and Jerrald as her own. Mrs. Parker was born June 21, 1910, in White Rock to the late J.A. Brooks and Leola Haney Brooks. She moved to the Almond community in Floyd County in 1920, where she completed high school. She married Charlie Smith in July 1933 in Olton. They moved to Lockney in 1938 after living in several places in the region. Charlie preceded her in death in February 1957. They had three children, Alfred J "Al," Clara Lee and Charles H. Smith. Effie married Raymond Parker in July 1958. He preceded her in death in August 1984. She was active in First United Methodist Church and a local women's club, The Pollyannas. She and Raymond enjoyed traveling with friends and were in the grocery business. Effie was a homemaker and a fanatical game player and reader. She was the Floyd County Pioneer Woman of the Year in 2005. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Charles H. Smith; two brothers, Fred and James Brooks; and a sister, Ruby Foster.
