Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Palo Duro Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Field and the Rev. Ron Muller officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd., in Amarillo. Mrs. Cribbs was born Aug. 16, 1907, in Throckmorton County to Bev and Olevia Mitchell. She was a homemaker and a member of Palo Duro Baptist Church in Wildorado. She married Martin Luther Cribbs on July 7, 1927, in Elbert. He preceded her in death on March 28, 1987. She was also preceded in death by two grandsons. Mr. Green was born Sept. 6, 1932, in Belzonia, Pushmataha County, Okla., to Archie R. and Josephine McCoy Green. The family lived in Memphis before moving to Dumas in 1950. Mr. Green was owner of Green Auto Sales from 1960-1972, then he started farming and ranching. He was a member of the Dumas Lions Club, American Foreign Legion, VFW and Dumas Jaycees. He served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Green was preceded in death by his father, Archie Green; his mother Josephine Green; two brothers, Jimmy Leon Green and Buck Green; and a son, Houston Green. Beth Harrington, pastor of the church, assisting. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Catheryn was born Aug. 6, 1936, in Nara Visa, N.M., to James and Amy Reed. She was a 1954 graduate of Dumas High School. On March 18, 1955, she married Harley Kiser in Dumas, and spent most of her life in Dumas. She enjoyed being a cook at Dumas Junior High School for 25 years, retiring in August 2006. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by a son, Russell Wayne Kiser, in 1956; and a sister, Faye Reed, in 2003. Joe Schultz officiating. Arrangements are by Parkside Chapel Funeral Home. Mr. Walser was born Oct. 21, 1909, in the Prairie View Community near Chillicothe, the son of Charles and Sara Walser. His family moved to Summerfield when he was 7 years old. He graduated from Hereford High School in 1928, and attended Texas Tech University and West Texas State University. He married Rebecca Glenn Curry on Sept. 17, 1932, in Clovis, N.M. Mr. Walser farmed and raised cattle in Summerfield until his retirement in 1995. Mr. Walser was a 50-year member of Hereford Masonic Lodge No. 849 AF&AM, a member of the Oasis Shrine Club, a member of the Khiva Shriners, a member of the Scottish rite, a deacon of Summerfield Baptist Church for many years and a member of Hereford First Baptist Church. He enjoyed traveling in his life, having visited several countries in Europe, Switzerland, France, Japan and Hawaii. Mr. Walser's advice for life's challenges is, "Don't give up." He was preceded in death by his wife; a son; and three great-grandchildren. Bell St. Frank Benites, 84, of Amarillo died Sunday morning, Nov. 12, 2006, while he peacefully slept. Frank was born Feb. 15, 1922, in San Fransisco to his parents, Augustin and Fransisca Benites of Spain. He was a retired salesman for the Bostitch-Textron Corp. He was well-known around the community for his extensive charity and his sports accomplishments. Golden K Kiwanis, Trinity United Methodist Church where he was a faithful member for more than 40 years, TUMC Methodist Men, Big Brother of the Year in 1968, Meals on Wheels and calling bingo at the Canyons Retirement Home were just a few of his contributions to our community. Frank graduated from San Leandro High in 1941 was offered a full scholarship for baseball, but opted to sign a minor-league contract and began what would become a 25-year affiliation with professional baseball. Frank was the general manager of the Amarillo Gold Sox when our current ballpark was built. He was later the "voice of the Amarillo Giants" as the announcer of the local Class AA ballclub. Frank honorably served our country in the Army Air Forces in World War II. It was during this time that he met and married the love of his life, Ethel. Frank married Ethel Cowsar on March 22, 1944, in La Junta, Colo. From that point on, nothing meant more to Frank than his family. Anyone who knew him would attest to that. He had a huge impact on everyone he met, and he will be missed. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Ethel Benites of Amarillo; a son, Danny Benites and wife Carla of Amarillo; three daughters, Sharon Walters and husband Randy of Omaha, Neb., Nancy DeShields and husband Michael of Amarillo and Lori Wilhelm and husband Henry of Nazareth; 10 grandchildren, Jake Dunlap, Brad Fetter, Brent Walters, Julie Kirk, Allison Deaver, Zach Benites, Colby Benites, Jennifer Harbison, Brandon Wilhelm and Heath Wilhelm; six great- grandchildren; and two brothers, Augie Benites and Louie Benites, both of California. Frye, 78, of Amarillo died Saturday, Nov. 11, 2006. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with Wesley Weston, pastor of Sonlight Chapel in Center Point, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Frye was born March 18, 1928, in Center Point. In earlier years, she was a licensed cosmetologist and an instructor of cosmetology. Mrs. Frye loved family and told all kinds of stories about her family. She was also a prayer warrior and a woman of God. She liked to play 31 and other card games. Mrs. Frye had battled leukemia for three years. Survivors include her husband of 37 years, David; two sons, Randy and Sue Weston of Fort Worth and Marvin and Linda Frye of Amarillo; two daughters, Darla and Victor Somerville of Amarillo and Sheryl Anne and Danny Munoz of Amarillo; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and many close friends. Mrs. Turner was born Aug. 16, 1916, in Lutie to Frank and Irene Massey. She grew up in the Dozier community and graduated from Samnorwood High School in 1936. She married Ivan Turner on Oct. 26, 1952, in White Deer. She was employed by Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. for 33 years, retiring in 1979. She was a member of Carolina Street Church of Christ in Amarillo. She was a servant of the Lord and her family. She loved helping others and spent much of her lifetime doing just that. She was a devoted wife and a loving aunt. Her family shares in the memory of her generosity, love and laughter. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Leo Massey; three nephews, Denzil Norman, James Dowell "Jim" Massey and Allan Turner. Survivors include her husband, Ivan Turner; a nephew, Bobby Massey and wife Sandy of Joshua; a niece, Carleen Massey of Lubbock; five great-nieces and great-nephews; eight great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mrs. Reneau was born Oct. 25, 1938, in Bishop, Calif., to Richard Gillenwater and Louise Cambia Gillenwater. She married Sgt. Gene A. Reneau, USMC, of Bridgeport, Calif., Marine Corps Base, on Dec. 18, 1956, in Hawthorne, Nev. They lived in Coldville, Calif., then transferred to Twenty Nine Palms, Calif., in 1958; after 11 years he was discharged from the Marine Corps on Oct. 31, 1963. They moved to Amarillo in November 1963. Mrs. Reneau worked for the Amarillo School District for 14 years as a teacher's aide. She was a member of Olsen Park Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Duval Reneau, on June 29, 1996. She loved ballroom dancing and was a master gardener, loving vertical gardening and flower arranging. Mrs. Lindsey was a charter member of Tascosa Country Club and president of the Exchangettes Club in Amarillo. She was also a member of the Zeta Phi Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority and First Christian Church. She married William H. Lindsey on Dec. 24, 1939, in Raton, N.M. He preceded her in death on April 4, 2002.
