Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Llano Cemetery with Monsignor Harold Waldow of St. Mary's Catholic Church officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Jeanne married Leo Folkner in 1959 in Amarillo. They were married for 44 years. He preceded her in death on April 8, 2003. She was a lifelong resident of Amarillo, and attended the old Amarillo High School. She worked as a nurse's aide at St. Anthony's Hospital for a number of years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Jeanne was the granddaughter of Booker T. Tanner, who was the engineer of the famous landmark Santa Fe train engine that currently is on display in downtown Amarillo. Her grandchildren were her world. She will be dearly missed. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Brown. Survivors include two daughters, Donna Schulte and husband Greg of Rowlett and Deanna Saavedra and husband Tony of Amarillo; a son, Dean Folkner of Amarillo; five grandchildren, Sarah Schulte and Shelby Schulte, both of Rowlett, and Drew Saavedra, Brian Saavedra and Cameron Saavedra, all of Amarillo; a sister- in-law, Dolores Austin of Amarillo; and a brother-in-law, Lowell Folkner of Amarillo. Mrs. Kerbow was born Dec. 28, 1925, in Perryton to Clyde Charlie Jones and Edith Clara Robardey Jones. She was a Christian. She was preceded in death by her parents; a stillborn son, John Clyde Kerbow; two sisters, Mina Atherton and Carldeene Langwell; a brother, Clyde R. Jones; and a great-nephew, Andrew D. Weaver. Her specialty was special needs children. Coulter St. Cecil Lee Trammell was born Feb. 14, 1923, in Ashland, Okla., to Isaac Ransom Trammell and Millie Ellen Orr. Cecil served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. After his service time he returned to Oklahoma, where he married Billie Dean Jamison on Jan. 3, 1948. In 1950 they moved to Amarillo where he went to work for the Amarillo Livestock Auction. He worked there for 50 plus years in different positions, including contract work for the last 10 years. His main interest was the cattle business, but he also enjoyed fishing and the rodeo. He was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Dean Trammell; and a sister, Juanita Smith. Survivors include a daughter, Catherine A. Howard of Amarillo; three sons, Lee Trammell of McAlester, Okla., Pat Trammell of Perryton and Michael Trammell of Amarillo; a sister, Imogene King of McAlester; two brothers, Don Trammell of Salem, Ore., and Wendell Trammell of Amarillo; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Arrangements are by Horizon Funeral Home. W. Gene Hendrix was an early morning arrival Jan. 23, 1940, at the home of Oris Eulajean and Ewin Hendrix. He was a lifelong resident of Dalhart (except two years when the family lived in Delta, Colo.) and graduate of Dalhart High School, where he lettered in football and basketball. Upon graduation, Gene was hired by the Chicago, Rock Island, and Pacific Railroad, and subsequently the Southern Pacific Railroad, the Denver, Rio Grande and Western Railroad, and finally the Union Pacific Railroad. On the occasion of their marriage, August 19, 1967, Gene and Carol Williams embarked on the adventure of a lifetime. His expertise in woodworking made Gene a valued volunteer in set construction at the La Rita Theater. His participation in the renovation of the La Rita was fueled by his pride in his community and the preservation of a historical edifice. He was also instrumental in fundraising for several years for the Don and Sybil Harrington Foundation. He was preceded in death by his parents. He married Jane Brown on April 15, 1960, in Pampa. He was employed by Celanese as an operations specialist for 32 years. Cody was currently enrolled at Cisco Junior College, where he played football this fall. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Gordon, and loved working in the church nursery.
