They moved from Springfield, Mo., to Tucson, Ariz., in 1980. He then moved to Amarillo in 1986 to follow his dream, and opened D&M Performance Manufacturing. His life ended the way he lived ... his way. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by a son, Steven Paul Dunavin in 2001; a brother, Troy Dunavin; and his father. She married Sylvan Robison on April 19, 1941, in Clayton, N.M. They moved to Amarillo in 1955 from Dumas. She worked for the Amarillo Independent School District and retired from Pantex in 1985. She loved her family, cooking and being "Grandma" and "MeMe" to her granddaughters and great-grandchildren. She was a longtime member of Friendship Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters. He graduated from Tascosa High School in 1972 and attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, studying Petroleum Engineering. On returning to Amarillo he entered the family business, which his father started in 1951. Mr. Rogowski married Charlotte DeMoss in 1976. He was president and partner of Plastic Fabicators. He was past president of Children's Rehabilitation Center, and a member of Amarillo Executive Club, Solid Surface Fabricators Association, CSI of Amarillo, Decorative Laminate Products Association, KCMA, Tascosa Country Club and St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. He was an avid golfer and fisherman. George was a very loving and caring husband, father, brother and son and touched many lives. He will be forever loved and deeply missed by his family and friends.
