Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Memorial Hall in Llano Cemetery with the Rev. Marty Hamrick of Polk Street United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel, Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street. Rosalee Colley Gentry, 96, went to be with her Lord on Dec. 16, 2006. She was born Oct. 22, 1910, in Hugo, Okla. Her parents were Margie Payne Colley and Claude Colley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter William "Bill" Gentry, who retired from ATSR Railway, road foreman of engines in Amarillo. Rosalee can best be remembered for her love of family, lovely flower gardens and home. Rosalee and Bill lived in New Mexico, California and Kansas before moving to Amarillo in 1965. For the past few years, Rosalee had lived in Corpus Christi, where she attended First United Methodist Church. The family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to her friends and caregivers, Oralia "LaLa" Ordonez and Alexi McJenkin. Survivors include a daughter, Jane Ratcliff and husband, S. Don Ratcliff of Corpus Christi; two grandsons, David C. Georgia St. Mrs. McDonald was born June 5 in Estelline to C.C. and Fannie Bell Bennett. She married Joseph F. McDonald on March 23, 1962, in Clovis, N.M. Mrs. McDonald loved to shop and go to garage sales. She was a member of and volunteered for City Church. Mrs. McDonald was a homemaker, her family was the center of her life. She had a great love for everyone and will be deeply missed by her family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe, in 2001; a sister, Patsy Skaggs; a brother, Virgil Bennett; and a grandson, Michael Guinn. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Aubrey was born March 5, 1912, in Paris, Texas. He graduated from Paris High School, and attended a year of business school. For 45 years he worked in the dairy industry with 25 years as a manager of Lane's Ice Cream in Amarillo. He retired as a private bookkeeper in 1996. Aubrey married his first love, Margaret Brown, on Dec. 17, 1933. They shared almost 60 years together before her death in 1993. On May 13, 1994, he married his second love, Jewell Moore. They shared their lives together until his death. Aubrey spent several years in the Optimist Club, served 14 years as an elder in Walnut Hills Church of Christ in Dallas and 26 years as an elder and member of Central Church of Christ in Amarillo. He was highly respected and loved by his many friends and family and touched countless lives with his kind heart. He will be greatly missed. The family gives their heartfelt thanks to Odyssey for their guidance and compassion during a difficult time. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret; his parents, W.G. Stroup and Ida May Aubrey Stroup; a brother, Vernon; and a sister, Mary Ida Gieger. She married Ernie Neff on Dec. 27, 1949, in Clovis, N.M. She was a longtime resident of Hereford, McAllen and Canyon. She was a member of University Church of Christ. Ruby loved her family and friends and the Lord. She never met a stranger. She enjoyed cooking and had the gift of hospitality. Ruby loved singing and listening to hymns, especially the Gaithers. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; and two sisters. She attended school at Glendale County School in the Oklahoma Panhandle, where she met her husband, Walter Woolley. Walter and Dorothy married on July 22, 1949. They had recently celebrated 56 years of marriage. Walter fondly and lovingly called Dorothy "Doodle Bug," a name only he called her. She and her beloved husband went Home to be with their Lord together. Dorothy was a member of First Baptist Church, where she was very active in the Esther Sunday school class and Women's Missionary Union. She belonged to the Hansford Honeys Red Hat Society and the Twentieth Century Club. She was a homemaker and work mate with Walter in his many endeavors. Some of her favorites were family, traveling, her mother cows and retirement. She will be remembered as a gentle, loving and caring Christian woman. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, JoAnn Cantwell. He married Dorothy Halliburton on July 22, 1949. She died with him in an auto accident. He worked for the Texas Co., later called Texaco, for 26 years. He then farmed in the Spearman area for another 20 years, and invented and patented the No- Spin Lugs for sprinkler systems. He loved being a member of the Hansford County Showtime Car Club, where he showed his restored 1940 Chevrolet coupe and 1958 Chevrolet Impala. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Spearman and the men's Sunday school class. The Windmill Association and Make-A-Wish Foundation were among some of his favorite pastimes. Walter will be remembered as a one-of-a-kind, loving, caring, inventive man who was full of life. He and his beloved Doodle Bug went Home to be with their Lord together.
