No services or viewing are planned. Arrangements are by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel, Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street. Mrs. Debri was born March 8, 1943, in Amarillo to Jack and Dorothy Weaver. She was a lifelong resident of Amarillo and a nurse. Survivors include her husband, Rick Debri. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ernest "Shorty" Pfeiffer Ernest "Shorty" Pfeiffer, 94, of Amarillo died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2006. Services be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Sanborn Baptist Church with Ron Muller of Palo Duro Baptist Church in Wildorado, Eddie Johnson of Antiock Missionary Baptist Church in Amarillo and Danny Chisum officiating. Burial will be in Washburn Cemetery in Washburn by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel, Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street. Mr. Pfeiffer was born Jan. 13, 1912, in Coryell to August and Tillie Pfeiffer. He had lived in Amarillo most of his life. Mr. Pfeiffer retired as a custodian from Amarillo College and Amarillo Independent Schools. Survivors include a daughter, Virginia Britton and husband Bob of Amarillo; his grandchildren, Robert and Lynn McCoy, Renita and Paul Powell, Kay and Wade Collins and Kenneth and Melissa McCoy, all of Plano; and Ernest and Carol McCoy and Billy H. and Lori McCoy, all of Allen; two stepgrandchildren; a niece, Tammy Wegerer; 18 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great- grandchildren. "Dick" Dixon G.B. "Dick" Dixon, 79, of Canyon died Thursday, Dec. 21, 2006. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in University Church of Christ with David Lough officiating. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery by Brooks Funeral Directors of Canyon. Mr. Dixon was born Sept. 16, 1927, in Sunny Side. He graduated from Amarillo High School and then served his country in the National Guard. He farmed for more than 30 years in the Happy area. He had a great love for flying and owned his own planes. He also enjoyed golf. He married his beloved Billie Hartman on Aug. 25, 1956, in Amarillo. They celebrated their 50th anniversary this year. The family gives their heartfelt thanks to Hospice of the Southwest for their guidance and compassion during a difficult time. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ollie and Annie Dixon. Burial will be in Rest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Parkside Chapel Funeral Home. Mr. Bridwell was born March 1, 1955, in Pampa, with a charismatic smile, the son of Bobby and Freda Bridwell. He married Stacy Latham on March 27, 1993, in Hereford. Mr. Bridwell was the maintenance supervisor for Sugarland Feed Yard in Hereford for more than 19 years. He was a member of the Bass Pro Fishermen and had fished in and won several professional bass tournaments. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tonya Brock. Mrs. Mitchell was born Dec. 11, 1911, in Canadian, Okla., to Oscar and Rosa Roy Powell. She married John Odell Mitchell Sr. on Aug. 8, 1928, in Utala, Okla. They moved to the Texas Panhandle in the early '30s and farmed in the Rehm Community. After her husband's death in 1973, Edna moved to Dalhart. Edna enjoyed visiting with company, crocheting, cooking and her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two sons, Jackie Paul and Jimmy. Survivors include two daughters, Bertha Blake of Dalhart and Betty Jo Fletcher and husband Knot of Hartley; three sons, Johnny Mitchell of Canyon, Jerral Mitchell of Dumas and Jerry Mitchell and wife Becky of Dalhart; 28 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Parsley was born Aug. 21, 1932, in Laketon. She moved to Pampa in 1934, where she had been a lifelong resident. She married A.C. Parsley in 1948 in Pampa, and they were married for 44 years. She owned and operated the Crow's Roost Cafe in Fort Cobb Lake, Okla., for six years, and she was a Hilcoa/Hillstead vitamin distributor since 1965. She was also a salesperson for Wheaton/Tiara Glassware. Mrs. Parsley was a member of the Knights of Pythias Lodge and the Pythian Sisters. Her passions were bowling, playing bingo and cooking. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daudie and Magnolia Mize, and a brother, J.D. Mize. She married Jerry L. Hamby on Dec. 19, 1953, in Wellington. She attended school at Quail. She was a member of Abundant Life Fellowship Church and liked to play the piano and accordion. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter; a grandson, David Weis; her stepfather, Rufus Jones; and two brothers, Loyd and Boyd Jones. Survivors include her husband, Jerry L.
