Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Mike Henderson and Trey Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Childress Cemetery. Broxie Orcutt Arrington was born Aug. 2, 1919, in Parnell to Oral "Cap" and Vera Orcutt. She and Emett Arrington married on Dec. 19, 1936, in Parnell. Survivors include a son, Lloyd Arrington of Idaho; three daughters, Bernice Weatherly of Ponca City, Okla., Dee Delaney of Claude, and Donna Brieger of Wolfforth; a sister, Gusie Marguerite Koeninger of Plainview; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Claudia G. Bailey PAMPA - Claudia G. Bailey, 84, died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007. Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Monday in the Pam Apartments meeting room with Bill Mader officiating. Cremation arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Bailey was born March 11, 1922, in Batesville, Ark. She had been a resident of Pampa since the mid 1930s. Survivors include a son, Jim Bailey of Pampa; a daughter, Terri Pace of Pampa; six grandchildren; 14 great- grandchildren; and a sister, Willa Horn of Amarillo. Gray, 64, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2007. The family will hold a private service at a later date. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Perryton. Mr. Gray married Connie Ewing on Feb. 24, 1964. He was a truck pusher in the oil field and a master sergeant in the Civil Air Patrol. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Jolene Eccles of Perryton; two sons, Jimmie Gray and Joe Gray Jr. of Perryton; three brothers, Steve Gray of Perryton, Jessie Gray of Miami and George Gray of Amarillo; two sisters, Patsy Hunt of Perryton and Kay Turner of Eupala, Okla.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Burial will follow in Lockney Cemetery. Mrs. Muniz was born Aug. 26, 1916, in Martindale to Cresencio Mojica and Feliciana Sanchez Mojica. She married Frank Muniz on Oct. 7, 1934, in Maxwell. Survivors include two sons, Frank Muniz and Nick Muniz, both of Lockney, five daughters, Ofelia Hernandez, Alexandra Raissez, both of Lockney, Delia Perez of Bradenton, Fla., Alice Perez of Dade City, Fla., and Dora Sanchez of Benavides; two sisters, Tiofila Muniz of San Marcos and Augustine Fuentes of San Antonio; two brothers, Elias Mojica and Moses Mojica, both of Dallas; 37 grandchildren; and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Amarillo Florine Deaton Florine Deaton, 85, of Amarillo died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Washington Avenue Christian Church with the Rev. Jim Shelburne officiating. A private burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Deaton graduated high school in Johnston City, Ill., in 1949. She married Stan Deaton, who passed away in 2003. She worked for Mason and Hanger for several years and worked as a secretary for Fireman's Fund Insurance Company for over 20 years. She taught Sunday School and Training Union with her husband for over 20 years at Paramount Baptist Church. They were then members of Washington Avenue Christian Church for the remainder of their lives. She maintained her sense of humor and positive outlook on life to the very end. She was preceded in death by her husband; and by a brother, Ralph Farris. Survivors include a daughter, Debra Nielsen and husband Chris of Amarillo; a brother, Ray Farris of Johnston City, Ill.; and a grauddaughter, Kathy Nielsen of Richardson. She moved to Amarillo in 1960. She married Frank Hernandez on June 11, 1960. She enjoyed quilting and sewing. She was a member of St. Laurence Cathedral. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Simmona and Guadalupe Martinez; two sisters, Chonita and Lupia; and by a brother, Steven. Mr. Banks was born May 25, 1918, to Guy Cortes and Nellie Jones Banks in Siloam Springs, Ark.
