Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery. Mr. Patton was a Borger resident for 80 years. He served as 3rd class petty officer in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II. Survivors include a brother, L.M. Patton of Sulpher, La., and three sisters, Meta Bolton and Thelma Cherry, both of Amarillo, and Mary Lee Weidman of Agua Dulce. Snow PANHANDLE - Margaret M. Snow, 88, died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006, in Pampa. Memorial graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Panhandle Cemetery with the Rev. Mark Urquhart, chaplain of Hospice Care of the Southwest of Amarillo, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Mrs. Snow was born March 10, 1918, in Havre, Mont. She had been a resident of Panhandle for eight years, moving from Palm Harbor, Fla. She was a Presbyterian. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.M. and Glee McKiernan, and two brothers, Frank McKiernan and J.R. McKiernan. Survivors include a sister-in-law, Lillian "Timmie" McKiernan Sloan of Pampa; two nephews, Mark McKiernan of Big Sky, Mont., and Kent McKiernan of Boise, Idaho; and two nieces, Betty Jo Smith of Amarillo and Patricia Dauer of Panhandle. Box 1239, Panhandle, TX 19068. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bob Anthony DIMMITT - Bob Anthony, 70, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2007. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Clint Young and Jason Stone officiating. Burial will be in Castro County Memorial Gardens Cemetery by Colonial Funeral Home. Mr. Anthony was born March 17, 1936, in Dimmitt to C.W. and Alice Anthony. He lived in Dimmitt all his life and graduated from Texas Tech on the dean's list in 1958. He was a farmer and rancher in the Flagg community and then began working as an insurance agent with Castro County Farm Bureau, receiving many awards. He was very active in several youth programs such as 4-H, FFA and youth sports along with several others. He was a proud alumni of Texas Tech. He served on several boards in the Dimmitt community such as Castro County Memorial Gardens Cemetery and Dimmitt Chamber of Commerce and was the chairman of the Dimmitt Buyers Club. He was named the Honorary Chapter Farmer of FFA, was on the livestock judging team at Texas Tech and received the Father of the Year Award in Castro County in 1980. Mrs. Jalomo was born Sept. 28, 1929, in Abalos, Mexico, to Esteban Cardenas and Rosario Valdez Cardenas. She married Vicente M. Jalomo on March 4, 1977, in Hereford. The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Billy George Hall HOWARDWICK - Billy George Hall, 74, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2007. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in The Church at Quail Creek, formerly San Jacinto Baptist Church, in Amarillo with Dale Moreland, associate pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery East in Amarillo by Cox-LaGrone Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive, in Amarillo. Mr. Hall was born Feb. 23, 1932, in Springer, N.M., and grew up in Grenville, N.M. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force and received an honorable discharge. Billy married the love of his life, Donna Lawrence, on Dec. 2, 1951. Together they lived in several places during his military career before coming to Amarillo in 1986. While living in Amarillo, Billy drove a truck for Amarillo Hardware and Affiliated Foods before his retirement. He had resided in Howardwick for the past 14 years and was a member of the Baptist church. Billy was a person who loved to joke with people and had a very humorous personality. He enjoyed playing the guitar, "pickin and a grinin," and also bowling and fishing. Billy touched the hearts of many people and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by a son, Donald Hall, and a sister, Betty Wiseman. Mr. Ratliff was born Oct. 15, 1939, to J.T. Ratliff and Minnie Jenkins Ratliff. He graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1959 and married Sharon Nelson on Jan. 8, 1966, in Wichita Falls. He was a member of Second Baptist Church. Mr. Ratliff was also a member of Amarillo Bass Club, Tri State Karting -Go Karts, High Plains Drifters Car Club and World Karting Association. He was preceded in death by his father, and a sister, Mary Wilcox. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Tracie Ratliff and Kim Lucio and husband Arnulfo, all of Amarillo; his mother of Amarillo; a sister, JoAnn Luman of Clarksville; a brother, Dan Ratliff of Amarillo; and four grandchildren. King "Granny K," our loving mother and grandmother. Cornelia Elizabeth King, 89, of Amarillo passed away on Friday, Jan. 5, 2007. Cornelia was born May 16, 1917, in Portales, N.M., to James Charles and Annie Crume. She graduated valedictorian from Portales High School in 1935. She attended Eastern New Mexico Junior College and completed her bachelor's degree in education from New Mexico State University in 1939, graduating magna cum laude. She fulfilled a lifelong wish when she received her master's of education from Eastern New Mexico University in 1964. She was preceded in death in 1965 by her husband, George M. King. Cornelia married George M. King on April 16, 1942. She and George met in Tatum, N.M., where she was a home economics teacher. George, a widower with seven sons, had moved there to pastor Tatum Baptist Church. During their courtship, George would accompany Cornelia on her required home visits in order to "open and close the gates" of the various ranches in the area. At the beginning of World War II, four of George's sons enlisted in the armed services. In addition to George's sons, Cornelia and George had three children, Bob, Kathy and Betty. Cornelia was an active participant in George's mission work and church-starting activities in the Central Valley of California from 1950 to 1961. Upon her husband's retirement, the family moved back to Portales to help care for Cornelia's mother. It was while living there that George was killed in an automobile accident in 1965, and Cornelia raised Bob, Kathy and Betty on her own while living in Portales and teaching in Causey and Grady, N.M. She touched the lives of hundreds of children in Eastern New Mexico by teaching reading, the love of her life. She also was a dedicated Sunday school teacher at First Baptist Church in Portales where she was a longtime member. "One hundred years from now, it will not matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much I had in my bank account, nor what my clothes looked like. But the world may be a little better because I was important in the life of a child." Cornelia touched the lives of many children. The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to the staff of the Arbors and to BSA Hospice for their loving care of our mother and grandmother. Mrs. Hamby was born in Tulia. She was very enthusiastic and involved with retail sales the majority of her life. Everyone who knew her, knew her from her smile. She was very determined, and there was nothing that she couldn't do. Connie was a very strong and courageous spirit. She was a longtime member of Paramount Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Etheridge in 1975. Witts Joseph K. Witts, 80, of Amarillo died Friday, Jan. 5, 2007. Georgia St. Mr. Witts was born Oct. 14, 1926, in Braddock, Pa., to William and Mary Jane Witts. He married Frances Hevert in 1948. She preceded in him death on Sept. 18, 2002. He married Nell Rogers in 2003. He served his country in the Naval Reserves as a Seabee for more than 23 years. Mr. Witts retired from Southwestern Bell after 37 years of employment. He was also preceded in death by his parents; four sisters; and three brothers. Survivors include his wife, Nell Witts; a daughter, Linda Travis and husband Dale of Amarillo; three sons, Joseph K. Witts Jr. and wife Kathy of Grand Prairie, Tracy William Witts and wife Susan of Fort Worth and Rick Rogers of Winchester, Va.; a sister, Margaret Olsen of Burley, Idaho; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today in Cox-LaGrone Funeral Home Benton Chapel, 4180 Canyon Drive. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum. Mr. Annett Jr. was born June 14, 1939, in Alva, Okla., to Joe and Lorene Bouziden Annett. He grew up in Alva and later attended Northwestern State College. He moved to Amarillo and met the love of his life Patricia Doose. They were married Sept. 18, 1959. He served in the National Guard in Oklahoma and Texas for 10 years. He worked as a sales representative for State Chemical Co. for 20 years. Joe also worked with Jackson Supply, Empire Paper Co., and most recently, Miller Paper Co. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for 48 years. He served as a lector. It's been said, if the doors were open, Joe was there. He refinished floors, changed light bulbs and did anything to keep the church looking excellent. Joe was an inspiration serving at Blessed Sacrament Parish, community and council by supporting and strengthening Christian family life. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. In 1981, he was awarded District Award of Merit and served as Grand Knight, 1982 to 1984. In 1996, he and his family were awarded "Family of the Month." The Knights awarded him a Certificate of Merit in grateful recognition and appreciation of faithful and exceptional services. He was Scout Master of Troop 112 for more than 10 years along with his sons, who earned many awards including Eagle Scout. Joe was a loving, gentle husband and father, generous to his family, friends, church and strangers. His customers were his loyal friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Thomas Earl. Survivors include his wife; his children, Danny of Amarillo, David of Oklahoma City and Cheryl of Fort Myers, Fla.; nine grandchildren, Danny Jr., William, Josh, Chynna, Chelsea, Courtney, Dustin, Chastity and Kristen; eight great- grandchildren; six brothers and sisters, Mildred, Ellis, Mary, John, Gary and Linda; and many friends. Georgia St. Mrs. Coniglio of Amarillo, beloved and loving mother of Diana Coniglio of New York City and Rosanne Coniglio Daly of Amarillo, passed away peacefully on Jan. 5, 2007, surrounded by her loved ones. Margaree was born April 6, 1929, in Benson, N.C., and lived on her family's farm in Dunn, N.C., until 1952. That year, traveling on a small plane, she flew alone to London to marry Salvatore Coniglio, who was stationed there with the U.S. Air Force. Margaree and Sam, as he was known by his friends and family, along with their daughters, traveled throughout the world during Sam's 30 years with the Air Force. They made their home in many U.S. states, Great Britain and Madrid, Spain. Margaree was a dedicated homemaker and made a wonderful home for her family wherever they lived, whether it was a small town or a big city. She loved animals, especially her dogs, Zak, Abby and Nicky, traveling, entertaining, cooking, gardening and doing things for others. She was loved and admired by all who met her. Her warm and gracious presence and sense of humor will be greatly missed. Margaree was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. The family would like to thank the nurses and care givers at the Craig Windflower Facility for their compassion and care during the past few years and also to the wonderful staff at Odyssey Health Care for making Margaree's last few days so peaceful. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband; her parents, John and Amelia Webb; a sister, Eloise; and three brothers, Clarence, Arthur and Marvin. Mrs. Hernandez married Frank Hernandez on June 11, 1960. She enjoyed quilting and sewing. She was a member of St. Laurence Cathedral. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Simmona and Guadalupe Martinez; two sisters, Chonita and Lupia; and a brother, Steven. "Cheesie" Marsh C.B. "Cheesie" Marsh, 85, of Amarillo died Friday, Jan. 5, 2007. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Rector Funeral Home Coulter Chapel, 8310 S. Coulter St., with Dr. Roger Hubbard Sr., pastor of Lake Tanglewood Community Church, officiating. Burial will be in Llano East Cemetery. Mr. Marsh married his wife, Patsy, on Feb. 8, 1974, in Amarillo. Mr. Marsh retired as a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army Air Corps and served in World War II. In 1942, he graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in electrical engineering. He owned and operated Marsh Electric until 1975, when he retired to play golf. In his early career with Marsh Electric, Cheesie was very active in civic organizations. He was preceded in death by a son, Skip Marsh in 2003. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Linda Marsh Jacobs of Commerce and Jackie Shaw of Lubbock; a son, Bobby Mosley of Cheyenne, Wyo.; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She married Paul Castleberry on Jan. 5, 1935, in the Methodist parsonage in Floydada. Bess always fondly remembered friends in the University and the Jim Wilson Bridge Clubs, friends in the Canyon Healthcare Center and the BSA Daycare. She was preceded in death by her husband; two sisters, Berta Widener and Bennie Counts, both formerly of Lubbock; and two brothers, Junie Donowho, formerly of Bakersfield, Calif., and R.T. Donowho of Wichita Falls. She was a lifelong resident of Clayton until 15 years ago, when she moved to California to live with her daughter. He married Wanda Lee Hart on Nov. 9, 1952, in Laverne. Reynolds BURBANK, Calif. - George William "G.W." Reynolds, 86, formerly of Amarillo, Texas, died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Forest Lawn Mortuary in Hollywood Hills. A reception will follow. Mr. Reynolds passed away peacefully at his home in Burbank on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was born to Boyd and Zella Reynolds in 1920 in Fort Worth, Texas, and the family moved to Amarillo in 1926. He was a graduate of Amarillo High School, 1938, and attended Amarillo College for two years. G.W. left college in 1941 to join the U.S. Army Air Corps, where he flew night fighters in the European Theater of Operations, where he rose to the rank of major. He received several medals; among them, the Air Medal with Bronze Star (for combat flying) and the French Croix de Guerre avec Etoile Argent (with silver star) by order of General de Gaulle. George moved to California in 1950, where he worked in the motion-picture industry, first as an production assistant for Mr. Frank Capra, and later as a driver for the studios, particularly Warner Brothers. He was a member of the Teamsters Union. He also met and married his wife, the former Shirley Degitz (later divorced) and raised his three children in southern California. He had been a resident of Burbank since 1972. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Geneva Bowles; a brother Fred Reynolds; and his brothers-in-law, Tony Bowles and Charles Barkley.
