Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday in St. Paul United Methodist Church with the Rev. Perry Hunsaker, associate pastor, officiating. A private burial beforehand will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Mrs. Roller was born June 29, 1921, in Scranton to Oscar and Hattie Newman Rutherford. Mrs. Roller graduated high school in 1938 at Hereford and then attended business college in Amarillo. She worked for the draft board during World War II in San Antonio, where she met and married Marion "Pete" Roller. She worked in various offices including the Social Security office, bookkeeper for Lubbock Ready-built and secretary at Bible Heritage School. After retirement, she volunteered at BSA as the information desk coordinator and participated in the Swinging Seniors line dancers. She had been an active member at St. Paul United Methodist Church for more than 50 years. She was known for her great love of life, her sense of humor and for her warm hospitality to everyone. She had a positive attitude and a courageous spirit and was loved by everyone who knew her. A very special thanks to the nurses and staff at Accolade Home Health and Triumph Hospital for their care and love. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1988, and two brothers, Clifton and Payne Rutherford. Survivors include two sons, Tom Roller and wife Teri of Amarillo and Gary Roller and wife Carolyn of Placitas, N.M.; a daughter, Marian Kay and husband Mark of Amarillo; a sister, Alice Robison and husband John of Ozark, Ark.; five grandchildren, Andrew and wife Jeni, Timothy and Daniel Roller all of Amarillo, and Sierra and Dakota Roller of Placitas; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews - all of whom loved her very much. The family suggests memorials be to Bible Heritage School, 4100 Republic Ave., Amarillo TX 79109. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Roger Majors Jr. Roger Majors Jr., 49, of Amarillo died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2007. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Warford-Walker Mortuary Chapel, 509 N. Hughes St., with the Rev. T.W. McClenton of Calvary Hill Fellowship officiating. Mr. Majors was born May 24, 1957, in Shamrock. The family moved to Amarillo in 1962. He was a graduate of Palo Duro High School. He had been employed as a cable puller for TCL Cable Co. of Dallas. He was involved in an automobile accident Dec. 25. Survivors include three sons, Tony Jackson and Tyrone Jackson, both of Dallas, and Roger Majors III of Amarillo; a sister, Jean Majors of Amarillo; his father, Roger Majors Sr. of Amarillo; and many other relatives. The body will not be available for viewing. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Joseph K. Witts Joseph K. Witts, 80, of Amarillo died Friday, Jan. 5, 2007. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Arden Road Baptist Church with Dale Bigham, pastor, Jody Witts, pastor, and Dale Travis, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mr. Witts was born Oct. 14, 1926, in Braddock, Pa., to William and Mary Jane Witts. He married Frances Hevert in 1948. She preceded in him death on Sept. 18, 2002. He married Nell Rogers in 2003. He served his country as a Seabee in the Naval Reserves for more than 23 years. Mr. Witts retired from Southwestern Bell after 37 years of employment. He was also preceded in death by his parents; four sisters; and three brothers. Survivors include his wife, Nell Witts; a daughter, Linda Travis and husband Dale of Amarillo; three sons, Joseph K. Witts Jr. and wife Kathy of Grand Prairie, Tracy William Witts and wife Susan of Fort Worth and Rick Rogers of Winchester, Va.; a sister, Margaret Olsen of Burley, Idaho; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Bartel, pastor, and the Rev. Lyndon Glaesman, Baptist minister, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Looper was born Feb. 11, 1934, in Kilgore and had been a resident of Pampa since 1945. She married Myrel Looper on March 24, 1990, in Pampa. Mrs. Looper was employed by Ideal Food Store for 29 years. She had been a member of Calvary Baptist Church since 1952, where she taught Sunday school for many years and was actively involved with the Good News Club. She was also a member of Calvary Baptist Homebound Ministries, the bereavement committee, and she formed her own personal food ministry. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a stepsister, Bernadine Ware. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Becky Saltzman and husband Tommy of Pampa; a son, Mike Taylor and wife Nancy of Yorba Linda, Calif.; a stepdaughter, Pam Fowler and husband Lonny of Pampa; a stepson, Steve Looper and wife Kathy of Amarillo; her twin sister, Meredith Cox and husband Billy Joe of Pampa; a stepsister, Virginia Ashby of Lubbock; eight grandchildren, Clint Ferguson and wife Brandi of Boyd, Cal Ferguson and wife Becca and Cory Fowler, all of Pampa, Cory Taylor, Chris Taylor and Brett Taylor, all of Yorba Linda, Allison Looper of Amarillo and Tracy Ryan and husband Todd of Lubbock; six great-grandchildren, Cade Ferguson, Brock Ferguson, Cy Ferguson, Case Ferguson, Kelcei Dees and Morgan Ryan; two nieces, Renee Marak and Brenda Cox; and special friends, Betty Miser of Borger and Clara Imel and Donna Sims, both of Pampa.
