Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will be at a later date in Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, N.M. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mrs. Brisley was born March 3, 1923, in Mayslick, Ky., to Charles and Della Sapp. She married Bernard A. Brisley in Maysville, Ky., on Sept. 24, 1946. Mrs. Brisley worked as the cafeteria coordinator for St. Andrew's Episcopal School for more than 20 years, retiring in 2000. She was a cheerful and delightful woman who touched the lives of many. She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends. Mrs. Brisley was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband. Survivors include a daughter, Kay Campbell of Amarillo; three sons, Peter M. Brisley III and wife Ann of Silverton, Paul Brisley and wife Sandra of Mesquite and Mark Brisley of Amarillo; a sister, Frances Bartelt of Amarillo; three brothers, Tom Sapp and wife Betty, Harry Sapp and wife Maxine and Tony Sapp and wife Delores, all of Kentucky; four grandchildren, Abe Brisley, Diane Brisley, Dan Brisley and Leslie Campbell. Arthur St. Mrs. Levario was born June 25, 1947, and she was a caregiver. She was very open and very lovable, she loved everybody and everybody loved her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicolas Levario; a son, Ray Levario; her parents, Elenora and Edward Kisler; a brother, Ray Keever; two grandsons, Steven Dunn and Scotty Dunn; a daughter-in-law, Hope Bleeker; and a brother- in-law, David Levario. Survivors include a daughter, Margie Dunn of Waco; four sons, Nick Levario Jr., Gary Levario and Richard Levario and wife Barbara, all of Amarillo and Billy Joe Levario of Abilene; a grandson, Roy Hermosillo of Amarillo; her stepmother, Ann Keever of Iowa City, Iowa; three sisters, Joann Keever and Lynn Keever, both of Burlington, Iowa, and Rosemary Keever of La Harpe, Ill.; two brothers, Gary Keever and John Keever of La Harpe; and nine grandchildren. Memorial services were at 11 a.m. Monday in Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia St., with the Rev. Ken Cole, associate pastor of Saint Stephen United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in Llano Cemetery. Mr. Marcum was born Jan. 31, 1932, in Parnell to Joe and Lilan "Tid" Marcum. He graduated from Estelline High School. He married Edith Compton on Nov. 12, 1950, in Memphis, Texas, and they moved to Amarillo that same year. His life revolved around his family. He loved baseball and coached his boys on Kids, Inc., YMCA and American Legion baseball teams. He was very supportive of his grandchildren and their sporting endeavors. He raised and raced thoroughbreds for 15 years. He enjoyed political discussions and debates, always proud to represent the Democratic point of view. He was a member of Saint Stephen United Methodist Church. He worked in the automobile industry for many years. He retired from Ray Jones Chevrolet in 1994. The family would like to express their appreciation to BSA Hospice for all their care and help. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Wanda Jo; and a grandson, Jacob. On June 7, 1951, she married Carl Lee in Durant, Okla. She had been a resident of Dumas since 1960 and was a member of First Baptist Church. JoAnn was a homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Terry Hart officiating. Burial will be in Happy Cemetery by Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Mr. Finck was born July 16, 1927, in Tulia to Joe and Edna Finck. He graduated from Tulia High School in 1946. He spent his entire life in Tulia except when he was in the Army and served in Japan during the occupation. He farmed north of Tulia until he started working for Swisher County in Precinct 1 for the past 18 years. He was a life member of the VFW. He held several local offices and was district commander for one year. He was an elder in First Presbyterian Church and had served on several committees. He also helped with Haynes District Scouting. He married Naomi Bates on Feb. 8, 1950, in Tulia. They were four days short of their 57th wedding anniversary. He was preceded in death by a son, Dale Finck, in 2004. Survivors include his wife; a son, Jim Finck and wife Karen of Flower Mound; a daughter, Zane Taylor and husband Ronn of Tulia; two sisters, Lonella "Polly" Avent of Amarillo and Doris Lust of Dimmitt; two brothers, Orville Finck of Tulia and Alva Finck of Georgetown; three grandchildren; and four great- grandchildren. Sherrill Jr. BOVINA - J.E. Sherrill Jr., 81, died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2007, in Lubbock. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Bovina United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mr. Sherrill was born Oct. 10, 1925, in Draw to Myrtle Porterfield Sherrill and J.E. Sherrill Sr. He married Patsy Clem on March 20, 1949, in Tahoka. She died on June 20, 2003. He moved to Bovina in 1953 from Tahoka. He owned and operated Sherrill Lumber in Bovina for many years. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Bovina United Methodist Church, Farwell Masonic Lodge No. 977, Lubbock Scottish Rite, Khiva Shrine, American Legion and Bovina Lions Club. He was a former mayor and city councilman for the city of Bovina, a former member of the Bovina School Board and for the past 10 years served as municipal judge for the city of Bovina. Survivors include two sons, Steve Sherrill of Tahoka and Terry Sherrill of Gruver; two daughters, Wendy Curry of Canyon and Patti Brown of Panhandle; two sisters, Bea Brown of San Angelo and Etha Mae Caswell of Carlsbad, N.M.; two brothers, Ronald Sherrill of Tahoka and Paul Sherrill of O'Donnell; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
