Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Brooks Funeral Directors Chapel with Andrew Cunningham, her grandson, officiating. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery. Mary Jewell Bolton Sibley was born Feb. 14, 1908, in Benton, Tenn., to John Parker Lillard and Nancy Eliza Lillard. She was one of eight children. She married Lewis K. "Butch" Bolton on May 3, 1934 and later married E. A. Sibley in July 1972. She was a devoted Christian mother and grandmother who read her Bible daily. She always remembered each family member's birthdays. Mary was a member of the First Baptist Church of Canyon for 35 years and a member of Bell Avenue Baptist Church of Amarillo in her later years. Survivors include three daughters, Nancy Don Cunningham and husband Bill, Ruth Ann Kauffman and husband James and Mary Sue Miller and husband Leonard; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Loraine H. Adcox PAMPA - Loraine H. Adcox, 90, died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2007, in Dalhart. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Philip Elsheimer, pastor of Calvary Assembly of God Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Adcox was born Aug. 31, 1916, in Gomez. She married Earnest Adcox on Feb. 28, 1985. Survivors include two sons, Raymond Self of Dalhart and Tom L. Foster of Arlington; two daughters, Sherrye King of Flagstaff, Ariz., and Marlene Wyant of Pampa; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great- grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Memorial Park Cemetery in Vega with Terry Hightower, minister of Vega Church of Christ, officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers of Vega. Mr. Hudson was born June 18, 1967, in Amarillo to Donald and Bettie Hudson. He was the manager of Oreck Vacuums. He loved sports and the community of Vega. He was a member of Vega Church of Christ. Survivors include his mother, Bettie Hudson of Vega; and a sister, Sheila Moore of Amarillo. Viewing will be from 10 a.m. to noon in Vega. "Hood" Earp, 84, died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2007. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Central Baptist Church with the Rev. Norman Rushing and the Rev. Rick Parnell officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Earp was born Aug. 15, 1922, in Okra and came to Pampa in 1946 from Weinert. He served in the U. S. Army Air Force during World War II. He married Earlene "Ikey" Driggers on Aug. 26, 1944, in Weinert. Mr. Earp worked in various oil field-related businesses from 1946 until his retirement from LSI, Inc. in 1996. He was a member of Central Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, John Wesley Earp Jr.; his mother, Ruth Smith Earp; a sister, Elizabeth Earp Heiskell; a brother, John Wesley Earp III; and a great-granddaughter, Jenna Kay Earp. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the mausoleum chapel of Memory Gardens in Amarillo with the Rev. Roy Wheeler of Hillside Christian Church in Amarillo officiating. Burial will follow in memory Gardens by Blackburn-Shaw Memorial Chapel, Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street. Mr. Wilson was born on March 12, 1922, to the late William Samuel and Lucy Pearl McKay Wilson. Charles served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII and The Korean Conflict. He worked for the Fort Worth and Denver Railroad, which merged into the Burlington Northern Railroad until his retirement in 1985. He was a Mason at the Lodge in Texline, was known to make the hottest and best hot sauce in Texas, and was a real handyman. "You name it, he could do it." He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Beatrice; a granddaughter, Terri Gustin; and two great granddaughters, Shasta and Ashely Condran. Survivors include a daughter, Dianne Condran of Canyon; and a son, Terry Condran and wife Alta of Kaufman; five grandchildren, Rusty Gustin, Donna Artis, Dewayne Condran, Steven Condran, and Charles Condran; eight great- grandchildren, Joshua Gustin, Michael Martinez, Trent Mulherin, Sarah Gustin, Matthew Condran, Jana Godwin, Mackenzie Condran, Jaron Condran, and Annabelle Condran; and two great-great-grandchildren, Madison and Kylee Gustin. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Amarillo Thelma Lu Worthen Thelma Lu Worthen, 90, of Amarillo died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2007. Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel with Dr. Ron Lacy, M.D., officiating. Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery. Mrs. Worthen was born in Quinton, Okla. She taught herself how to read at the age of four. She graduated from Altus High School in 1934, where she was valedictorian. She was also valedictorian at Oklahoma Baptist University, where she graduated in 1939. She then did advanced course work at Oklahoma State University, the University of Colorado, the University of Michigan, the University of Wisconsin, and New Mexico State University. She married Clifford H. Worthen in Altus in 1942. He passed away in 1990. Mrs. Worthen taught high school English, journalism, and Spanish in New Mexico, Colorado, Texas, and Oklahoma. She began teaching at Tascosa High School in 1962 and retired in 1981. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma and the Retired Teacher's Association. Her passion in life was reading. She also like to garden and was a lover of animals, especially cats. Survivors include a daughter, Dayna Worth-Reynolds and husband Charles L. of Amarillo; a son, David M. Worthen and wife Mary Ann of Amarillo; two grandchildren, Christopher David Worthen and wife Tracey Ann of Amarillo and Stephanie Rosas and husband Michael Miguel of Amarillo; six grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
