Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Cox-LaGrone Funeral Home Benton Chapel, 4180 Canyon Drive, with Stuart Bracken, pastor of Christian Faith Center, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Breedlove was born Nov. 27, 1931, in Albuquerque, N.M., and spent most of her childhood there. She moved to Dallas as a teenager and graduated from Dallas Kimball High School in 1949. She worked as a secretary for many years in the Dallas area. She married Randall Breedlove in Dallas in 1973. They lived in Plano for until her retirement in 1986. They lived in Branson, Mo., from 1986 until 1992, when they moved to Amarillo. Joan was an artist and loved to paint. She was a devoted wife and mother and was loved by all who met her. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kim. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Jenny Morris of Jacksonville, Ark., and Sally Klassen of Jupiter Fla.; a son, John Klassen of Plano; two sisters, Joyce of Cortez, Colo., and Linda of Grand Junction, Colo.; and a brother, Buster of Grand Junction. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Rob was born July 17, 1942, to Eddie and Lorene Laster in Millett. He married Pat Shearer on Nov. 17, 1960, in Spur. He was a shop foreman for Tow Brothers for 38 years. Survivors include his wife, Pat; two daughters, Tersa Ball and husband Dan of Chandler and Brenda Laster of Amarillo; a son, Robby Laster and wife Kelly of Amarillo; two sisters, Lois Leugers of Abilene and Alma Paschel of Dickens; two brothers, Peg Laster and Bobby Laster of Dickens; three grandchildren, Amy, Linley and Aaron Laster of Amarillo; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Ellena was born in Vernon and had lived in Amarillo for four years. He loved photography and was a member of the International Freelance Photography Organization. "Bill" Perry William D. "Bill" Perry, 87, of Amarillo died Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2007. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Lake Tanglewood Community Church with Dr. Roger Hubbard officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mr. Perry was born Oct. 31, 1919, in Graham to A.W. and Mary Ella Perry. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II in the Pacific Theater. Mr. Perry married Lucille Dean in 1939 in Graham. He began working as a pipeline welder retiring from Houston Contracting Co. after more than 50 years in the pipeline industry. During his career he worked all over the U.S. and lived in Brazil for 18 months laying pipeline. His family joined him whenever possible. After his retirement, they purchased a tract of land near Lake Tanglewood, where they opened up a Shamrock station. He and Lucille cultivated a peach orchard and started growing fruits and vegetables. They sold their produce and a few groceries at the station. Mr. Perry loved to garden and spend time in the outdoors. He was a longtime member of the Pipeline Union, the Palo Duro Masonic Lodge and Lake Tanglewood Community Church. The family welcomes visitors to their home. Survivors include his wife, Lucille Perry; four sons, Wayne Perry and wife Brenda of Sugar Land, Bill Perry and wife Betty Jo of Helotes, John Perry of Amarillo and Bob Perry and wife Ruth of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two sisters, Cora Graham of Amarillo and Irene Mullanax of McLean; a brother, John Laurence Perry of Hobbs, N.M.; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Zint was born Sept. 30, 1951, in Amarillo. She moved to Calera, Okla., in 2001 from Miami, Texas. She attended Caprock High School. Mrs. Zint had worked for Northwest Texas Hospital as an EKG/EEG tech. She and her husband also served as houseparents at Cal Farley's Boys Ranch. She married Dale Zint in 1993 in Amarillo. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Redden was born April 14, 1906, in Tell to Charles Mathias Scott and Minnie Lou Bryan Scott. She and her sister attended West Texas State Teachers College in Canyon. She received her B.S. in 1932. Both taught in rural Panhandle schools. She taught at the Amarillo Air Base during World War II. She received her master's degree from the University of Colorado and taught at Baylor University in 1945. She married Herbert Redden in Oregon and she taught in Oregon until her retirement. They moved to Las Cruces, N.M. After his death in 1984, she relocated to Amarillo to be near family. She was a dedicated Southern Baptist and teacher who taught thousands of students. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; three brothers, E.T. Scott, Hillyer Scott and Glenn Scott; and a sister, Eddie Mae Scott. Survivors include a niece, Glennda Scott Cook of Amarillo; three nephews, Bryan Scott of Katy, Bill Scott of Amarillo and Tabor Scott of Fort Worth; and special friends, Sandra McDonald and family and Rhonda Bybee. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bobby Gene Rothel Bobby Gene Rothel, 19, of Amarillo died Monday, Feb. 19, 2007. Services will be at 6 p.m. Saturday in Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in Weatherford. Bobby was born July 11, 1987, in Cleburne. He was a loving son, brother and friend to all who knew him. He had a gift for drawing people to him and forming instant friendships. He enjoyed swimming, camping, target shooting and especially scuba diving. He became a Certified Advance Diver in July 2006 at Possum Kingdom Lake near Mineral Wells. Bobby loved God and lived his life with Christian love. Lillian Hunt was born Oct. 10, 1914, in Haskell County to Eddie and Vera Keys Dunn. She married Everett L. Hunt on Nov. 30, 1957, in Aztec, N.M. He preceded her in death on Aug. 2, 1991. Mrs. Hunt was a homemaker. Mrs. Brantley was born June 23, 1934, in Oklahoma City to Frances Jones and Raymond Henderson. Glenda spent her early years in Oklahoma City, moving to California and then to Guymon. Waide Messer of Memphis, Tenn., went home to be with the Lord on Feb. 20, 2007, in Wimberley, Texas. Waide was 50 years old and had just moved down to Wimberley to be the associate pastor of First Baptist Church there. His first day "on the job" was Feb. 19, and he passed away suddenly the next morning. Waide had pastored First Baptist Church in Santa Anna, Texas, First Baptist Church in Friona, Texas, Robert Lee Baptist Church in Robert Lee, Texas, and had been associate pastor at Cherry Road Baptist in Memphis, Tenn.
